We stopped by to celebrate my uncle's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it feel like a full-on celebration. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm, fun, and welcoming. Now the food? Incredible. I ordered the fried chicken, mac and cheese, and greens -- and every bite tasted homemade with love. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with that crispy golden crunch, the mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the greens were tender with just the right amount of flavor. Comfort food done right. I attempted to T's brunch. Keyword here ATTEMPTED! Before going, I heard nothing but good things, so I was anxious to go. I'm always down for a good brunch! We made reservations due to it being Valentine's Day weekend, and we wanted to ensure we would get a seat. We were very considerate in our effort to attempt to go to this restaurant. When we got there, we arrived at 1:30 PM, and not even expecting to sit down, we knew they were busy; it was visible that people were literally standing everywhere, but we just wanted to check in. The host was extremely unprofessional. There was no greeting--not even a simple "hello." Instead, we were met with an unpleasant attitude. I genuinely don't understand how she's employed in that position, as she clearly lacks people skills and shouldn't be representing the company. It left a terrible impression of the service and atmosphere that the restaurant might otherwise offer. For context, we didn't request early seating; we simply checked in to let her know we had arrived on time--actually, a bit early. She responded by saying, "All y'all keep coming early. We don't have anywhere for everybody to go!" Frankly, that's not something we should be responsible for. We don't run the establishment, and we don't manage the seating arrangements or operations. Unfortunately, I will never return to T's. This place was a strong reflection of the restaurant and its offerings. I know there are several other locations, but I have no interest in visiting them because if you hire someone like that to be the face of your establishment, I can't assume the service is better elsewhere--especially if you thought that was a good idea after meeting her. read more

I came without reservations on a Monday around noon. There wasn't a large crowd and there was Christmas decor inside. The staff was friendly and we were able to be seated once our party arrived. Our waitress was nice as well. However the food lacked seasoning. I ordered the seafood hash brown. The description says shrimp crawfish and lobster. I asked my waitress why I didn't see lobster and she explained that it was a lobster bisque. This should be noted in the description. I had to add salt and pepper for flavor. Looks like I get the pleasure of leaving the 1st Yelp review...and I'm delighted to do so. I stopped by for brunch and this is where my Frat Brother brought me. The blue cheese crumbles that came with this appetizer was so appropriate. I'm a catfish and grits type of guy and this one did not disappoint. The fish was seasoned and fried right. The grits were full of flavor. My biscuit had a drizzle of syrup on it and it was nice and fluffy. The fried green tomatoes will make you want to order it again...and again and again. Our server Asia has a pleasant and welcoming personality. In addition, everyone welcomed us with smile. Nothing beats great service and this Brunch Bar presented just that. The ambiance was lovely. OMG I love the food. I love the atmosphere and I love the service. I've been to several their locations.

We always look for black owned spots to visit when in the city. My wife and I visited the College Park location while in town waiting for our dogs to get done at the vet. The music was nice and the vibe was cool. Our server was very friendly and offered suggestions from the menu. We started with the lemon drop flights (2@ $45/ea). The flights were a 4/10. There was no other taste in the lemon drops other than Hennessy which was disappointing. As a licensed bartender, I know we put our own spin on drinks at times, but this was a hard pass for us. This missed the mark. There was no taste of strawberry, mango, passion fruit, blueberry, or lemon flavors present. There was peach present in the peach lemon drop because peach syrup was used from the peaches in a can. The henn overpowered the entire drink that is usually more vodka based. If you're a real lemon drop/vodka person... sit this one out. What we ordered: Southwest egg-rolls: we give them a 9/10, they were freshly dropped and the avocado ranch was a good pair. Wife's order: seafood (shrimp, lobster and crawfish mixture w catfish) and grits 4/10 the catfish was fishy and very undercooked; however, our server took the catfish back and another piece was cooked completely and brought back out. The catfish brought out was the best thing on the table. My order: oxtails and grits 4/10 The oxtails could've cooked for another 45/60 mins for more tenderness. The dish was chewy lacked seasoning but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. The biscuit was good;however it was on the plate and the bottom was wet with grits. Yuck. I did take it to go as a treat for a good dental cleaning at the vet. The biggest gripe/disappointment was 1. 20% automatic gratuity 2. the hostess coming over at 11:30 (had a 10:15 reservation with a 90 min sitting time) saying that "we have a reservation coming in in 5 minutes for this table) which means "never mind we just spent over $200 on food and drinks that were sub-par, let's hurry and finish so we can get out of here". First off, this place is a MONEY MAKER. I can definitely appreciate a business focusing heavily on profit so kudos to the owner. Quality of the food I'll give an 8/10. The only area where I'd like to see improvement would be the portions. Bigger serving sizes then they'd be an 8 or a 9. Service was GREAT. I made reservations at 11:10 for 11:45 & when I arrived at about 11:40, all others had to endure a 30 minute wait, while I was directed straight to my table. My waitress JoJo was a pleasure. She was pleasant & attentive & was accommodating to all the questions I had about the menu. Cozy area. Not too tight of a restaurant, but could stand for just a smidge more space to roam. Now I say it's a money maker because the dishes were a tad pricey for such a quaint brunch bistro. I didn't go with any of their Mimosa options because to spend so much at the start of my day would've been a setback for my brief vacation. & the main reason I only give them 4 stars out of 5 is because bottled water was the only option (as opposed to free tap water). & it was their own brand of bottled water (see pic). So no matter what, in order to wash down your meal, you have to pay extra. But it's definitely a great place to visit & I'd definitely go back when I'm in Atlanta. read more

My wife and I went to eat and we asked for 2 glasses of water and 2 Cokes with our meal. The waitress said "we do not have glasses of water, we have bottled water". When we get our bill there was a charge for $9.90 for 2 bottles of water. The 2 Cokes were $5.90. We have been to other the Douglasville location and we were given glasses of water with lemons on the side. I don't know if this was a way for the waitress to upsell or what. If she was trying to do that then that is very deceptive. I patronize Black-Owned businesses. When I feel like there is deception it makes me not want to patronize them as much. Had to walk back inside THREE separate times before anyone could even tell me where my food was. The hostess acted like customers were an inconvenience instead of doing her job. To make it even worse, after all that waiting, my order was still wrong. I ordered 2 orders of cinnamon roll biscuits and only received 1, plus an entire appetizer was missing. This was my first time visiting Ts Brunch Bar, and unfortunately, my first impression was disappointing. My guest and I were given a physical menu to order from. Based on that menu, I ordered the seafood pasta, which was listed as including lobster, shrimp, and crab. However, when the dish arrived, it contained only shrimp and crawfish, with no lobster or crab. I brought this to the waitress's attention, and she explained that it was a "lobster sauce" (despite there being no actual lobster in the dish), but she didn't address why the crab was missing. She walked away, seemingly to follow up, but never returned with any clarification. I then went to the front to look at the menu again and spoke with someone who appeared to be the owner or manager. I was told that the physical menu is outdated, and that the QR/online menu is the correct version, with some items being seasonal. That raises a major concern: how are customers supposed to know this if they are handed an outdated menu with no explanation? If substitutions are being made (like crawfish instead of crab or lobster), that should be clearly communicated upfront, not after the meal is served. This is especially important considering dietary restrictions, allergies, or personal preferences. Customers should never have to guess what they are being served. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability or effort to resolve the issue. There was no attempt to make it right, just an explanation that the item was "seasonal." Additionally, it was uncomfortable hearing staff discuss the situation within earshot rather than address it professionally. On a positive note, the meal did not go to waste; the homeless gentleman outside the establishment appreciated it. Suggested Improvements: Ensure all menus (physical and digital) are consistent and up to date Train staff to clearly communicate menu changes, substitutions, or seasonal limitations Empower staff to resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care Avoid discussing customer issues within earshot of guests Overall, this experience fell short of expectations. T's was a great experience! We sat at the bar and Remi automatically greeted us by telling us her name and getting us started with waters. The music was a good vibe, not too upbeat and not too slow. Also, it was at a conversational volume. I had the Red Velvet chicken and waffles. It was a solid choice. I didn't even need the syrup provided. my husband had the seafood hash browns. They were not stingy with the seafood. We both had mimosas. I enjoyed the white peach mimosa. It was a flavor not offered at most places and you get a slice of peach inside.
