Please note the unmelted cheese on top of the spaghetti and raw broccoli and tomato chunks on the veggie pizza... Waitress couldn't be waved down, didn't pay any attention to our table so I went to the bar to buy a drink and she literally turned me away because "you already have a waitress"Unbelievably disappointed for the price and drive to this place. This is one of the bars I'm what is known to locals as barmeuda triangle. It's a small clean bar with pool tables and I think a dartboard. I'm not sure really. The one thing I do know is the drinks are always made well. The service is good. The food is pretty good. The pizza is the best thing on their menu. They actually put sauce on it. There are two other pizzerias here in big sky but they're just not as good as Milkie's. People seem to like the wings, but maybe it's because I'm from New England that I don't like flour or breading on my fried wings. Definitely one of the more friendlier bars I've been to. read more

It's a dive bar. Don't expect a 5 star hotel and you'll be a happy camper! Awesome bartender (she's so cute), good selection of drinks, killer vibes and a pool table. It's all you need for a good time! Bartender got us mozzarella sticks after the kitchen was technically closed. My boyfriend works as an engineer for a bunch of the lifts on the mountain so we're lucky to come here on the off season and actually talk to people. Best local vibe! Looking for a place to eat in Big Sky. This was a second choice after the first place advertised food but served beer and frozen pizza. Not many people in this place but decide to give it a chance. Bartender served as our waitress. Very speedy on the drink orders. We had six people in our party. They enjoyed the local brew, MAPS(?). We ordered food shortly after drinks arrived. Onion rings were served piping hot in less than 5 minutes. Great taste. I would add a few more to your order for the price. Our food was delivered in just under 20 minutes. Slightly slower than I would like it. Food was hot and served looking good. I got a bonus with my chicken parmigiana sandwich. Pretzel bun instead of Kaiser. Tasted awesome!! Others ordered southwest chicken, meatball sandwich, chicken Alfredo and chicken wings. All tasted good, chicken tasted boiled in the alfredo without any seasoning. Not a bad place to eat. Absolutely worst service in big sky. You either get the drunk guy bartender that forgets to ring you in and only wants to talk/ take shots with his friends, or you get the girl with the cap that gets mad when you order something off menu and then she ignores you the rest of the night and takes shots with the other industry friends she knows. This place is horrendous. I left my phone on the bar and they told me "get the f#### out and i can get my phone tomorrow". The owners don't care because its one of four bars in town. The service here is trash. If you want to get treated like a homeless person, come here. The only people that like it, get free drinks. read more

I should have known better when I tried to call thee times and order a take-out and hung up on or didn't answer. I tried to order on-line but their website wasn't taking orders. I decided to go in and order. I ordered three large pizzas and 20 piece chicken wings. I ordered 2 beers and waited. The pizzas were made right away then sat on top of the pizza oven for 40+ minutes while the fryer was backed up and we waited for the wings. The pizzas were cold and terrible. The wings were great! Might be good for a bar, but not for food. We ordered takeout, and let's say I will never order from Milkie's again. First, we called about 5 times over the span of 45 minutes before anyone even answered the phone. Finally someone answered and took our order for pizzas, wings and a Greek salad. 45 minutes later it was ready. My sister-in-law had to flag someone down to speak to about getting our food. I had ordered a Greek salad with added chicken, but when I opened it up there was no chicken. I'm not sure if they charged us for it since the receipt wasn't itemized. But I was pretty disappointed since that was my meal. The Greek salad also said it came with anchovies and it did (yum!), but there were only two tiny anchovies in a little container -- TWO! Really, they couldn't put some more in there?! My family agreed the pizza was below average. The wings were ok, but they're the breaded kind (gross), and were a little mushy. So based on the ordering situation, seemingly lack of interest in even having customers, and the so-so quality of the food, I would never try to eat here again. read more

My sister and I got back to town after a LONG day at Yellowstone (and an extra long buffalo crossing delay). It was around 9 pm, and apparently restaurants in the area close pretty early. We were STARVING. I searched Yelp, searched google, and drove around hoping I could lead myself to food, but it was all to no avail. I ended up asking a policeman in a restaurant parking lot where we could find something to eat (restaurant had-you guessed it-stopped serving food). He pointed us here. Now, by this point, it was fully functioning as a bar vs a restaurant, but they still gave us a menu upon request. We ordered pizza and salad to go. It took quite some time to get the food, but beggars can't be choosers, right? The salad was edible but not super exciting. The pizza itself was...mild? There was very little flavor to it. But hey, it's pizza. And we needed food. And it worked in a pinch. Happy we found someone to feed us. We were fading fast, so next time you eat here, remember this tale of bravery. Grabbed a seat with my wife and two kids. Took ten minutes to have anyone come by. Waiter, who was polite explained that he was the only server (which includes bartenders) for the entire restaurant and that he'd be back with menus. A few minutes later he arrived with menus but explained that pizza would be an hour wait. Past 7pm with two children under 8 that wasn't going to work. Waiter was nice and I appreciate the heads up but only having one service staff and clearly not enough kitchen staff to make pizza's in under an hour if beyond poor. Walked in on a busy Saturday night. Tons of people were at the bar, and we were looking to get some pizza so we sat at one of the open booths. Weren't even acknowledged by any of the staff though they saw us walk in. We were unable to get their attention. Bad experience, lesson learned though - don't try to eat out during spring break at big sky. We went to multiple different restaurants and none were any better. I believe the town is just overwhelmed by the tourists from all over, so its (somewhat) understandable. Update. Placed an order on the phone for pickup today. They said it would be 30 minutes. Stopped by later to pick up the pizza and still couldn't get anyone's attention. Went to the kitchen and told one of the staff that we had ordered a pizza - they handed it to me and told me to pay at the bar. Food is alright. It's a nice place to be during the day, but if you're looking for a bar to hang out at with people at night and plan on getting drunk? Not the best place to go. Let's face it, yeah the place closes at 2am and people should respect that for the workers, but when people are out at a bar drunk and having a good night... it's not uncommon to lose track of time. The workers here give a 5 minute notice that the bar is closing and that everyone needs to leave which isn't nearly enough notice to get everyone out let alone for everyone to hear, and one guy who works there is a complete a**hole and starts getting all up people's faces and will go and smash around the balls at the pool table nearly starting fights with customers and gets very mouthy when they genuinely didn't know it was time to leave. As visitors to the Big Sky area from San Diego, CA, we popped into Milkie's following a day of hiking and exploring the area. We loved the local vibe and energy, as well as the friendliness of the staff. And their pizza is AMAZING!!! The pizza was fantastic. The wings were some of the best I ever had. The service was perhaps the worst I ever experienced. From the moment we tried to sit down, it was a disaster. There were so many things wrong with our experience, and I just don't care to list them all. This one example should give you a sense. When we asked her what was on tap she suggested it would be easier if we just walked up to the bar and look for ourselves. Her attitude was horrible, despite our best efforts to be friendly. Grabbed a booth with the husband and we were the only ones there except a few guys seated at the bar. Waitress came over after a bit and asked if we wanted drinks, when I asked if they had a drink menu or red wine she responded with "merlot and no drink menu" so I ordered water. She was a bit slow on her feet, understandably so since she had a leg brace, but she did not make up for it with her attitude or lack of friendliness. We asked if a 12" pizza would be big enough for the two of us and she informed us that was doubtful unless we have small appetites. We ordered an appetizer and a 12" anyways and laughed when she brought a pizza out with 8 generous slices- more than enough for 2! Atmosphere was cold and divy, food was hot and fresh. Average prices, but they don't honor their half off draft special until 6 like advertised outside. The husband ordered his second beer about 5:45 and the check still reflected full price, whereas his first drink had been half off. We just wanted to get out of there since the waitress was slow and it had been a long day so we paid and left. Not worth dining in, I'd recommend carry out only! read more
