Bison burger

Delicious dining experience at Big Sky Resort. Small restaurant but good service and a nice menu. Located right across from slopes and in the main lodge makes it perfect for any time of day. Plus, while you're eating, look out and admire the snow and mountains.

Not sure why this is only 3.5 Food is so great! Everyone is so nice. The wings and the burrata salad were so yummy! We had a party of 10 and everyone was very happy

I had a surprisingly good sandwich for a ski area base area. The music is pretty loud though so if you're looking for a quieter place to sit, try to get a table outside.

Quick service, great food, amazing view of the ski slopes. Busy place but service is stellar and friendly

The decor had a great ambiance. The service was great. Chris was our server and was the just right level of attentive. I had the Smash Burger. The meat was flavorful. The condiments didn't distract from the burger. The one thing that could improve is bringing down the volume of the music. Was hard to hold a conversation.

The potato soup and marrow.

Had first great meal a couple days ago. Excellent salad and burger. Came back today for soup and bread. Toast was burnt and I asked for it unburnt toast. They the brought out untoasted buttered bread. Is it unreasonable to ask for toast (you stick it in toaster and adjust down the setting.) to go with my $24 cup of soup and marrow?

Incredible spot at the base of the mountain. The atmosphere is solid inside and you can watch from the bottom of the mountain. We ordered the beef nachos, the turkey sandwich, the Caesar salad and everything was great. Also, the baked potato soup is pretty nice. We had a large group and we're served quick and friendly by Dru. He was on top of it and he delivered on all fronts for the group. We appreciate his attention to detail and great service.

"medium" steak frites. avoid at all cost.

The steak frites was a crime against humanity. It was a tourist stomp on a Yellowstone bacteria mat. It was a starbucks lid floating in the Morning Glory pool. The chicken parm wasn't breaded but it was pretty good The potato soup was also decent

Came in here for a late lunch after skiing all day. Waygu burger was delicious and very filling. Our server Anthony was awesome too. Food came out super fast. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that it seemed pricy but then again it's a ski resort.

Food was good, atmosphere was cool. Service was nice. All around a good spot to eat. Will come again next time when we visit Big Sky again in the future!

Potato pasta

Very great experience. I had mocktail and potato flavored pastawhich was very tasty. Ambience was great and staff was very helpful. Price wise its costly but really flavorful.

The food was not good and there were only three waiters at the restaurant. Would not recommend.

Service was slow & food average, beautiful view of Lone Mountain. Convenience of location to resort appreciated.

Great spot! This was one of the very first places we checked out in Big Sky when we were on the…read morehunt for somewhere to eat, drink, and catch some basketball games and it did not disappoint. Started off strong with drinks: my hazelnut espresso martini was chef's kiss (smooth, nutty, and dangerously easy to sip). My friends ordered the Alpine Negroni and The Sinnerman, and both were huge hits around the table with bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the better cocktails we've had on this trip. For food, we went full sampler mode and ordered three different slider trios so we could try everything. The unanimous ranking: 1. Trout sliders: shockingly good, super flavorful, and the instant favorite. 2. Short rib sliders: rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. 3. Wagyu sliders: still tasty, just overshadowed by the other two standouts. Between the drinks, the food, and the multiple TVs showing games as well as a trivia night, this place checks all the boxes for a laid-back, delicious, and sports-friendly hangout. Bonus surprise: They also have a movie theater with showtimes; didn't expect that at all, but very on-brand for a place that clearly wants you to stick around and have a good time. Would absolutely come back!

We were seated immediately and the restaurant was empty at the time. Our group has the Fries, Bluecrab dip, Bison Loin, and Chicken Alfredo. All were excellent. The fries were a large portion, thick cut, soft inside but extremely crispy on the outside and served hot and fresh. The crab did, we all but licked the bowl ;) The Bison was cooked to perfection, medium rare and tender. Even the Broccolini was perfect. Waypoint also has and 84 seat movie theatre and Trivia on Wednesday Nights

If you enjoy bland luke warm food, over the top prices and a management team that has no idea how…read moreto accommodate customers then this place is for you! But for all normal yelpers I would recommend avoiding this place especially if you are here on vacation. We are here for a family vacation and were excited to come to block 3 for our first dinner night. I'm always a little skeptical about hotel restaurants as they are either great or really bad. Let's just say we all left here very disappointed The only good thing about the food was the appetizer truffle fries we ordered. We ended up waiting over an hour for a main meals and we were one of the first tables seated for the night. All of our protein dishes: pork, branzino, and steaks clearly were sitting out for a while and cooked horribly - they were all cold!! Our friend who ordered the Steak spoke up as the steak was $65 asking for it to be warmed. They took it back to kitchen and it came back the same way!!! So he kindly asked to remove it from menu. The manager came over eventually and said there was nothing he could do, didn't offer him another plate... nothing. To top it all off - they tried to overcharge us! They tried to round up the 2 orders of pork chops to $80 when it should have been $76. Very rarely do I leave a restaurant thinking, "This is exactly why so many people prefer eating at home." Yesterday was one of those times. The experience left me seriously questioning why I'd bother going out to eat when I can save money and enjoy a much more pleasant, delicious meal at home.

Came here expecting more of a higher-end steakhouse experience, but it definitely felt more on the…read morecasual side. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different than what we anticipated. Service was a bit off throughout the night. We asked for a wine to be decanted and it didn't seem like the staff was familiar with that, which was surprising. Drinks also took quite a while to come out so much so that we placed another round when ordering just to avoid the wait. Interestingly, the food came out before the drinks. The food itself was just okay nothing that really stood out. Toward the end of the meal, we felt a bit rushed, almost like they were trying to wrap up early, even though we weren't there past closing time. Maybe it was an off night, but overall the experience didn't quite meet expectations.
