Flavors and service are always okay, I think it's generally too sweet and the flavors are (from what I can tell) always the same. Not bad, I generally go for the Nutella-flavored one, but if you've got a sweet tooth or serious craving, this is definitely your spot. They do regular scoops, shakes, and even put ice cream in the middle of a donut! We've been met with some slow service as it's usually just one or two staff, but it's never too long a wait. There's no real seating, so this is a grab-and-go kind of spot. Additionally the staff was super friendly and let us sample a few flavors before choosing what we wanted. I had a chance to try the black velvet, banana funk, cake by the ocean, and coffee & creams. All were very distinct and satisfying in their own way! I personally felt that the black velvet was overly sweet but think I personally prefer a more mild sweetness so think someone with more of a sweet tooth would LOVE it. We decided on the cake by the ocean and Banana funk as donut sandwiches but the coffee & creams was a close contender. I did knock down a star as I didn't feel the environment was super welcoming or well lit and chose to enjoy our ice cream in the car for this reason. Been here many times, the ice creams are really unique and tasty! I usually get their thot tea-ana, an earl grey lavender ice cream, and it's really floral and has a nice light flavor that lasts. Today I think they added a bit too much salt, as the lingering aftertaste was a tiny bit too salty. Overall still really good and unique. I also love their banana funk, it is so flavorful and creamy with bits of banana for some texture contrast. It's also light but prevalent in flavor, and this was perfect! Super delicious! Their waffle cones are only $1 and are made freshly, and have a wonderful vanilla aroma. They are crunchy and really tasty! The only problem I notice is that the ice cream inside will melt eventually and drip at the bottom since the waffle cone is a little warm, so just be careful of that. The service is always fast and friendly, and although it is not usually this busy, there were quite a few people inside. Ambiance is a modern and friendly upscale ice cream parlor. I was looking forward to trying their cinnamon roll flavor ice cream but it was more vanilla with a hint of cinnamon no, cream cheese flavor at all. I've gotten the Black Velvet ice cream twice and love it - but be aware it can be a lot if you're not a huge sweet tooth. ;) The Cookie Monster is also another popular choice that I liked. Personally, the donut with ice cream was a little too sweet for me so I tend to stick to just ice cream here. They bailed out on their NFT during mint day which was extremely unprofessional and left a lot of interested buyers disappointed and out some $. We tried the Black Velvet ice cream. The description says it's like a Red velvet cake but with Activated Coconut charcoal. It tasted like chocolate with cake mixture. It was actually very good. (It turned our mouth black, we look really funny. ) The other flavor we tried was the Purple U-bae. Which is actually the Ube flavor that I grew up with. It was good, but not the best. It was not as creamy. Next time, we will try the other flavors. I am taking a star away... we checked in at yelp and was supposed to get 10% off. Some flavors were creamier than others, like their tasty cookie butter. The more exotic colored flavors look really cool and taste great, but the texture is very dense and sticky. This is a common problem voiced by other producers we used to talk to in Los Angeles. Still, the Ube & black charcoal colored red velvet (stuffed with tiny pieces of cake!) were both delicious. I recommend getting a waffle cone. It costs $1 to upgrade, but it's thick and adds a wonderful honey-nutiness. Avoid that weak ass strawberry. They were out of a requested topping we asked for, but including one in the price is a nice bonus. read more

Some flavors I feel can be too sweet for me. Every flavor has a description telling you what it is. Coffee one is good but strong!! Thot tea ana is a popular one I feel like which is their lavender tea flavor one. I actually like another spot for that kind of flavor in Richardson. All flavors may have trace of gluten or nuts so allergens be aware. They don't have any lactose or allergen free flavors. Purple U Bae is always my safe choice. It's a mixture of taro like ube with coconut. I normally love taro, ube and coconut alone so honestly this flavor is made for me. Haha, it has everything I like in one. It taste more like taro to me than anything else. The coconut is not strong at all, I believe it might just be a small hint. I don't think they use ube, unsure if it's just the fun name. I love the decor of this spot. It's so cutesy and hipster vibes. You can take a cute picture after getting your ice cream by sitting in their benches in front of wall decor. They have a small table area, it's more a come and go spot. They do milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches here as well. I've only ever tried their scooped ice cream in a cup with no toppings. They offer one topping included in price and additional for .50 cent more. I think the flavors are all very unique and love the fun naming convention. It can get crowded at times but line goes by normal pace as customers are trying flavors. You can buy a pint for $10! I definitely recommend this spot to friends when they ask about a dessert spot in Plano. read more
