    Bts and SW chip
    Shelby M.

This place is so good. I honestly wasn't expecting to be blown away by cookies. Everything was on point--the cookies, the selection and the service. The BTS cookie is unreal. Super rich, perfect amount of caramel, and just ridiculously good. The SW chip was also perfect with the wafers and sea salt. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They seemed to actually enjoy being there, which is always a good sign. The place itself has a cool, cozy vibe. Not too loud, not too quiet. I'm definitely coming back. Might be my new go-to cookie spot.

First time trying chip cookies and it was very good. I got the original and the Oreo dunk cookies to share with my finance and my dad. The only thing is that the cookies were a bit rich flavor. However overall pretty cool experience.

Ive been here twice so far! Its a cute shop located in a shopping center near Barnes and Noble.Cookies are really good but make sure to eat them the same day as by day two the quality decreases significantly. They have lots of options and you can even build your own cookie. My favorite is the tres leche. The service is always quick and friendly.

Super fast service, and there is a little table if you choose to sit inside! There's also a bench right outside if you want to enjoy the summer weather. The cookies were just a little too buttery for my liking, personally.

4.5 star cookies! True quality cookie. Would recommend to anyone who loves a sweet, thick soft cookie! One of the best in north Dallas area. Ordered delivery service and was highly impressed. Delicious the next day after.

Chip Cookies is so good! Their cookies are incredibly delicious and very easily customizable. They are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My favorite is the Tres Leches, and I add flaky sea salt to it for the perfect sweet and salty treat. The store itself is extremely clean and minimalistic. Cashiers are always notably nice. Cookie prices are comparable to Crumbl, but a lot better in my opinion! Really awesome place for decadent desserts.

Decided to check this out as I love a great cookie and was not disappointed. When I walked in I was promptly greeted and asked if I have been there before. Since it was my first time the worker gave me the overview and some recommendations. I decided to go with a 4 pack. OG (chocolate chip): it was much better Crumbl's cookie and just as big. Just the right amount of chocolate. 9/10 SW (dark chocolate with sea salt): It was decent, I'm not a dark chocolate fan but for those that are, it will be up your alley. 7/10 Sugar cookie: by far the best sugar cookie I've had from a chain style place like this. The cookie itself has depth of flavor by itself which is further enhanced by the cream cheese frosting. 10/10 Biscoff: This was my personal favorite and is a must try. I will go back just for this cookie alone! The Biscoff filling and the white chocolate chips were a killer combo. 100/10 They also let you customize toppings on some cookies but I didn't do that this visit. Overall, I highly recommend checking them out.

Delicious soft gooey freshly baked cookies! They're perfectly sweet and satisfies all sweet tooth cravings. Also love how you can customize the cookies if you choose to have frosting and toppings on top!

New cookie place on Preston don't miss it! Cookies got height, thick and crispy and warm. Can make it custom with toppings, syrups and homemade cream cheese frosting. Their cookie flavors are in rotation. Just the biscoff cookie was a good choice with biscoff cookie baked inside w/ white choc chips. Better than sex was decadent in a good way, choc cookie w/ toffee, caramel drizzle and cream cheese frosting. Cookie is made with love, and they sell take and bake cookie dough. Read about the Chipstory on the wall explains how it began.

Very sterile, minimalist, and clean interior. We got a pack of four: tres leches, Oreo, coconut, and the classic chocolate chip. I loved how thick the cookies were but you could tell they weren't fresh and had been sitting there all day. Exterior was hard but interior was soft. The cookie bar where you select your own toppings is such a great idea. I would go back 100% and would absolutely recommend, but it's basically the same as all the other cookie chains.

Service: there was a blond lady working upfront. She greeted us as soon as we walked in and was patient and answered our questions. Ambiance: the inside is very modern, clean and simple. They have a cute neon sign on the wall for a photo up, I won't say what it says so it could be a cute surprise. The cookies are really delicious! You get to customize them. Overall a cute little experience. A note to the owners: I'll be back at the beginning of December to make a reel for

An absolute gem in Richardson -- we'll definitely be back!…read more La Casita Bakeshop completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and our server Diana made the whole experience. She was knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, and so pleasant to talk to -- exactly the kind of hospitality that turns a good meal into a great one. The food itself was outstanding. We ordered the French Toast and the Birria Brisket Croque Madame, and both were incredible -- beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Croque Madame especially blew us away; it's the kind of dish you think about after you leave. The side hash rounded it all out perfectly. And then there are the pastries. We grabbed the Mango Sticky Rice Cream Puff and the Amaretto Cherry Basque Cheesecake Brownie from the Weekend Selections -- both were stunning, not just visually but in flavor. The cheesecake brownie topped with those cherry meringues looked almost too good to eat. Almost. Washed everything down with the Salted Honey Matcha and it was the perfect companion to the whole spread. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing -- the menu is so creative and well thought-out that we already have a list of things we want to try next time. And there will be a next time. La Casita has earned a regular customer. Highly, highly recommend.

Great food, but front-of-house operations and management are a total mess…read more My family and I finally visited La Casita Bakeshop over the weekend after seeing a lot of marketing for it. While the food itself was definitely good, the front-end operations were incredibly poor, and the service left a lot to be desired. The serving staff seemed completely untrained and lacked basic common sense, right down to knowing how to properly handle plates and utensils. To make matters worse, we encountered the shift manager, Jesus, on Sunday, May 24th. Not only was he arrogant, but he completely lacked Customer Service 101 skills. At one point, he told us the wait time would be an hour, yet there were four completely empty tables inside and servers were just standing around idle. He is clearly an inexperienced restaurant manager who does not know how to efficiently run a floor or manage a team. A major caution for potential guests ordering takeout: The staff has absolutely no clue how to properly pack food. They packed runny eggs into a standard cardboard box, which inevitably leaked right through the holes and made a massive mess everywhere (see attached picture). On top of that, for a bakery and coffee spot, they didn't even carry basic options like 2% or Lactaid milk. My humble suggestion to the owners is to invest some serious time and guidance into improving your front-of-house operations and management training. The kitchen is doing its part, but the front-end experience and sloppy packaging are dragging the whole establishment down.

Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

The baristas are all super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions. It's also super cozy with dim lighting, and the music isn't super overpowering or loud. There's mostly comfy couches but also a few tables and high top seating. Just a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. I was able to comfortably complete some work on my laptop, with working wifi. There were also people here socializing in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast tacos, so I opted for a bacon cheddar scone at one visit and a lemon blueberry scone on another. They were both delicious! The baristas told me that their chai leans toward the sweeter side versus the spicier side, so I opted for an iced sugar-free vanilla latte, which was not overly sweet. I also tried the beez neez (latte with honey and cinammon) another time and enjoyed it! They offer 2% milk, which I don't always find at coffee shops. Since it's in downtown Plano, there's street parking, which wasn't difficult for me since I came at 8 AM. I believe there are parking garages located nearby. Overall, I've greatly enjoyed 1418 Coffee and will most definitely be visiting more throughout this month while I'm working in the area!

The typical bakeries in this area (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen etc) are often chains, and focus on soft breads such as donuts and cakes, with the token boring croissant, and the Asian bakeries (also chains) offer a completely different style of breads, so to finally come across a place with innovative crisp laminated pastries is a treat! Note - they do not sell breads. I visited on a Friday morning around 8am and although there were only two people ahead of me in line, they were already out of almond croissants and I took the last sausage roll on display (but the bakers were probably baking more). There was a continuous flow of people in and out. The location is definitely set up to be a to-go place and NOT somewhere you come to sit and eat. No ambiance. No need to bring the friends and family, just send someone to buy a box of treats and enjoy at home. Being in a strip-mall complex, parking is easy.
