I've only ever ordered via UberEats and have not been in person. This place is great for having a tasty brunch that's also aesthetically pleasing! I really enjoy the Honeybird Biscuit and Tiramisu latte the most. They tend to be my go-to's every time I order! I also really enjoy their matcha latte and HB taco w/ cheese. Honestly, the savory food and drinks are always a winner. Though I did find the Sakura lemonade a bit too sweet for my liking. Well, this was a disappointment. I went on a late Saturday morning and ordered online. I got a egg & cheese biscuit sandwich. It said cheddar cheese, but it was made with American...which isn't really even cheese. The biscuit was so pale, it was just barely past raw. No crispy edges, just a soft, mushy biscuit. And the egg was not seasoned at all. With the poor excuse for "cheese" it really showed how unseasoned everything was. I had to add salt and pepper to make it tolerable. I also got a HB taco and it was only slightly better. The filling was okay, lots of eggs at least and they were seasoned a little this time. I paid extra for tater tots and they were soggy. The salsa was flavorless. The locally made tortilla was also extremely undercooked. It looked like it was parbaked by the maker to finish cooking before serving. But they didn't finish it. I thought this was just a donut place, but they sell regular food too. I came for the donuts and it didn't disappoint. It's sugary bliss in a building. My daughter said the cronut was so soft and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The banana pudding donut was really good. The banana pudding was delicious. I loved that it didn't have actual bananas in it. Between the honey and buttery biscuit it was a little much for my tasting. Loaded tots were good but nothing out of the ordinary deliciousness. The tots were likely just frozen tots with cheese, bacon , green onions and sour cream. We also partook in the cotton candy donut and the strawberry shortcake. The space is cute with ample seating but was packed the entire time we were there! I got a Spanish latte and would recommend. My husband and I each ordered a donut, the spicy honeybird sandwich, the breakfast sandwich, and tater tots. I was thankful we ordered donuts because it took over 25 minutes to get our sandwich orders. By that time I was cranky so I forgot to snap pics. There are a great variety of unique donuts (big ones, too), sandwiches, biscuits, taters/fries, tacos, and a whole selection of drinks!! I tried the Nutella Cronut and really enjoyed it! I love this place so much. It's my favorite honeybird location because of the beautiful patio, that can also be enclosed. The seating area is just divine, I love comin with friends it's the perfect chill spot and there's a thrift store right next to it connected to it and I love going in there for a bit after. I've been eating at Honey Bird for years at their Flower Mound location, and it has always been one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast before work or school. I was really excited to see that there was a Plano location after I relocated. This morning, I ordered the chorizo tacos, a doughnut, and loaded tater tots through DoorDash right when they opened. After seeing this place on Instagram and reading Yelp reviews, we decided to try it out on a Sunday morning. As other Yelpers suggested, we ordered online ahead of time to shorten the wait time. Pick up times on the site were in 15 minute increments, but when we placed our order at 8:05 am, it automatically defaulted to a pick up time of 8:45 am. Forty minutes felt like a long time to wait for our Honey Biscuit Chicken Sandwiches! But, we went ahead and placed the order anyway. **Note that only sandwiches and drinks are available to order online. You cannot order donuts online.** Upon pickup, the wait time was short. Of course, we wanted to add donuts to our order, but we had to do two separate transactions to get both the biscuit sandwiches and a couple of donuts. Was all this worth the wait time? The Honey Biscuit Chicken Sandwich is definitely worth it! The biscuit was buttery perfection and the chicken was juicy and delicious. The sandwich could have used a bit more honey drizzle, but that might just be personal preference. ;-) We also tried the banana pudding and the maple pecan donuts. The maple pecan was good, but not spectacular. The banana pudding filling itself was tasty, but there was only a very thin amount in the donut. New joint, so I obviously have to try. Placed a mobile order for their chicken sandwich and fries. When I arrived, they were packed- good sign! Unfortunately this also meant the line was long and there's only one register and no spot to fast track mobile orders. So maybe the strategy is to place a mobile order while standing in line. The joint itself is nice- not huge but they do good work with the space: plenty of tables for the space and a covered space outside with tables. The food: the chicken sandwich was ok- it was very similar to a Popeye's chicken sandwich bit with nicer bread. The fries were sorta like McDonald's- good when fresh and warm but mealy mush if you let them get cold so eat them fast. Overall, average. Not a bad joint, will return to try the donuts. read more

We both loved our lattes (pistachio and banana bread, hot), but neither of us loved the breakfast sandwiches. I'm more of an egg sandwich girl, so I got the bacon egg and cheese. I didn't like the sauce on it, and the bacon was tough. Hubs had sausage egg and cheese, and he didn't like the sausage. We brought home donuts to share and reviews were mixed. Everything is gorgeous. The donuts are huge! But tastes were mixed for us, and it was much heavier a donut than I tend to like. Didn't like the crème brûlée at all. It's not a donut, it's a brioche bun. The lemon poppyseed was dense, but tasted better than the crème brulee. Hubs really liked the PBJ, and daughter loved the cookie butter. The donuts themselves are large and very light, so I appreciate that it's not too sweet. I would pass on the more savory food though. Thankfully I received friendly service since I did see that others who left reviews did not get the same experience. I feel like the whipped cream that they use is similar to what you would get on top of a store bought cake. There is way more of that dense bread than the filling themselves. I was disappointed due to the price of the donuts being quite high. The chicken biscuit was also disappointing. The biscuit was pale and lacked flavor. It over powered the chicken itself which wasn't terrible on its own but still very bland and drenched in honey.
