I was never told by R&J Ertel that it was being sold without a warranty. Now they won't service it under the warranty and I have been unable to even talk to them. Every call goes unanswered. Beware! Make sure there is a warranty on any product you buy. Don't assume it comes with a factory warranty. I have dealt with R&J Ertel for over 20 years, but never again.

My hot water heater was leaking at 3:00 pm when I phoned Randy. There was already a puddle of…read morewater on my basement floor. Randy came and shut off the water and called to order a new Gas hot water heater with power vent. He ordered a commercial grade water heater which is made better and will last longer. I appreciated that. He & Bobby were at our home the following morning before 8:00am to install the new gas hot water heater. I had been told by another plumbing & heating company that I would need to have a new sewer line installed outside due to the terra cotta pipes slipping and trapping the toilet paper & waste. I had asked that company twice to give me an estimate but they never did. Randy used his camera to look and he showed me that I could wait a year. We also had 2 water pipes in our front yard that stuck out of the ground with grass all around them. Our house is very old and use to be a duplex which is why there are 2 water pipes. We could not mow over them. I asked Randy if the pipes could be lowered. He checked them then called the Williamsport Water Authority and told them of our situation. The following day 2 fellas from the Water Authority came and lowered the pipes and replaced one broken cap. We had also been told that we needed to have a new chimney installed. Since Randy is a Master Plumber he said that we did not need a new chimney because our furnace and gas hot water heater both have a power source that vents outside which is sufficient. Overall, very pleased with Randy at Pipe Doctor. Would absolutely recommend this company!

Plumber came Friday morning with a camera and said we had a broken septic pipe in the basement under the kitchen floor. Had to pay for the camera service and to unclog the pipe a second time. Left and said someone from the office would call to send someone out to give us an estimate for repair. It has been a week and a half and never heard a thing from them. Meanwhile, we had no use of laundry machine, showers or toilets in our house with a handicapped person who also has a nurse come in every week for wound care and no use of facilities
