Went to the Southwick Zoo and needed someplace different to eat. First of all, this place is IN a tavern/bar. My friend and I actually drove by it. Parking out front is challenging with it being on a dimly lit main drag. I realized afterward why folks parked up on curb. The doors are a bit confusing as they also have a hall. There is a back parking lot... I have no clue how to access it. Up top, on the left is where folks congregated around the dimly lit bar, drinking and watching the Celtics lose (boo!) The window for the pizzeria is to the far right. We were warmly greeted as we perused the menu. After settling on the white garlic pizza (large) and a teriyaki chicken wrap with fries, we went to sit at a table near the bar to await our food. While we were waiting, one of the regulars (I'm guessing as they all knew her) came up to us and started a nice conversation. She even brought us our drinks. Our food came out piping hot. The pizza was a bit greasy due to the amount of white garlic sauce... and it was good! The chicken teriyaki was loaded with meat and veggies. The fries were perfect... so crispy on the outside and hot potato on the inside. Btw-I love local "dive" bars. The ambiance and friendliness of folks are amazing. read more

Was looking for a new pizza place, the one I normally go to has been inconsistent in quality, and not so good. The ratings for this place were good and the pizza in the photos looked great. I was definitely skeptical, and rolled the dice. I was not disappointed. This is not only BY FAR the best pizza in the area (south of Boston, north of Providence), it's some of the best pizza I've had (ANYWHERE!). Good crust, good cheese, good sauce and a perfect balance of all. If I HAD TO compare it to any other Pizza, I would say it reminds me of Pizzeria Regina in Boston. Pizza in the Woonsocket/Cumberland area is a lot of "just ok" but nothing amazing. This was worth the little extra driving to pick up. AND they have something that no pizza places offer anymore: a pepperoni lovers pizza! It's called the Pepperoni Feast Pizza, and it's amazing. Just picking it up it's heavy. They do not skimp on meat or cheese. This place is awesome, low key tucked into half of a pub. Just a little pick up window and maybe a few tables. The staff were friendly and prompt. If you go there, don't judge a book by its cover... this place is a gem and these guys know how to make pizza! They share a location with the "Pot Belly Pub". A unique setup, and only slightly different from another business in N. Smithfield, but this setup really works! One side takes care of beverages, and the other side handles the food! Win win! Their crust is one of the best in the area, no one leaves the crust like those other pizza places! The toppings are just as good! I can't say enough good things about these guys, I know they've had some poor reviews on here, and I can only give them a glowing review on their pizza! I don't even have ONE negative comment about Mill Tavern. My husband and I have gotten delivery and have picked up. The service and food are both TOP NOTCH. We always get their pizza. This time we had a large meat lover cooked well done. It's the best pizza EVER! Loaded with delicious fresh toppings, not greasy at ALL! My favorite part is the CRUST (which too many people overlook)- it's puffy and crunchy and sooo-o yummy. The 'well done' part makes the crunch even better! It was a spur of the moment decision to check this place out. Don't regret it one bit. Trying to pick something and decided on the Steak Bomb Pizza with Banana Peppers. The crust was thick and fluffy. The steak was perfectly cooked. Just enough banana peppers to let you know that they're there. The place is part of a dive bar. The food was just delicious. We ordered from Mill Tavern tonight based on a Facebook recommendation. Wow! Well worth the drive from Northbridge! My boyfriend came out carrying the pizza and remarked on how heavy it was. The potato skins were phenomenal! The pizza was fantastic! The dough was thicker than most and nit greasy at all. Nobody even left their crust behind! Underneath the pizza, there was virtually no grease. We will be back! read more

Don't be intimidated by the sketchy looking location, the food is fantastic! We've had pizza, wings, sandwiches, fries, mozzarella sticks, and it has all been great. Pizza has a fantastic yeasty, soft crust (not your typical cardboard) and they are generous with their pizza toppings. Mozzarella sticks have a crispy crust, not that seasoned breading stuff and the marinara is pretty good, too. We've found a new favorite pizza place. read more

Failure with a classic dish. I got the grilled chicken, broccoli Alfredo. The chicken is not grilled, it tasted like it was boiled, and over cooked. It was flavorless, as was the Alfredo sauce. The pasta was over cooked and the only thing that tasted as it should have was the broccoli. The portions are large, but the overall dish lacked. If the chicken had salt and pepper on it before it was cooked-- and if it had actually been grilled, it would have been better. The Alfredo needs salt, garlic and some rosemary. The pasta should have been cooked for two minutes less. I'm not sure how you mess up such a simple dish, but I just gave you all the ways to do it correctly for the next person. read more

This place isn't bad but I'd rather go somewhere else. In my delivery order I got a small cheese pizza, buffalo tenders and BBQ tenders. The food got here within the time they said it would. All of it was still pretty warm even though it's below freezing outside. Both of the chicken tenders weren't that good. The cheese pizza wasn't bad at all but I've had better at many other places. They only have fish n chips on Friday and Saturdays which is a GIANT letdown in my opinion. This place would not be my first choice but wouldn't be my last. Maybe I'll try something different from here in the future. read more

I live down the street so I order from Mill Tavern a lot. Staff is always very friendly and food is always great!

Took an hour for delivery. The pizza is very thick and doughy. I also found a HAIR. In my pizza. It wasn't mine because it was in the cheese not on top. The "garden salad" is lettuce with tomatoes and2 pieces of green pepper. The ranch does not taste like ranch. No one ate the food because of the hair and they refused to give me a refund. Worst experience I have seen at a pizza place and I used to work at one. Never would we EVER refuse a refund to a customer who wasn't eating the food. read more

Always fast, always tasty. We live in a third floor apartment and the delivery kid has actually hauled it up three flights to deliver to us (and as a result, we tip well). Always accommodating and very reasonably priced. In the year plus we've been ordering from them, we've ordered pizza, grinders (subs for you non-New Englanders), wraps, appetizers, pasta and seafood. I love their pizza. it's not overly greasy like most places. it's affordable and 7 mins down the street. they're super fast. usually i have to wait an hour for any delivery orders. they forgot my fried ravioli bites, but my bf called and they came back quickly after. would of been nice to have a complimentary soda or desert but that's okay; I'm not mad. I don't order out a lot, but I always order from here rather than other places because I like their food best. read more

You never know what you are going to get when you order from this place. We have had some great food from there and beyond discussing food from there. The pizza tastes good most of the time but is usually soggy. The flavor is good but the end result is disgusting. Whenever we order we are hoping for a good experience like we once had. We ordered delivery and the cheese pizza was almost raw and all the cheese slid off to one side. A mess!!!!! I had ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and it was full of American cheese..... Really? Maybe a little more food experience and knowledge would help these cooks. When you order from them do not expect a normal pizza shop experience. read more
