I randomly stumbled upon this place, and I'm so glad that I did. First off, it's adorable. I want to decorate my kitchen to be as cute as this spot with all the taco decor. 100 for ambiance. Next, the girls that were working when I went in were super nice and they were real busy! They were making food left and right! I didn't wait long for my order at all. It was super yummy and the price for the size and quality was soooo reasonable. The only downside, is that I live well over a hour from here. If I was local, you can bet I would be grabbing takeout from here and stopping by the liquor store afterwards for stuff to make margs to go with these amazing tacos! Nice job! read more

First impression is this as sterile as you can get . No greeting , no instructions on whether you sit or order first . You are on your own . We got the volcano burrito . It was okay . The rice was a bit mushy . You got hot sauce , but no sour cream or guac . We also ordered the hills quesadilla . That was pretty good . Nice flavor , very nice crunch . This place is always a favorite of ours. We haven't been in there in a while and they have done some upgrades! They now have digital menu boards and a newer look. It looks nice! The tacos were as delicious as we remember and we really enjoyed them. The menu boards move a bit too quickly so we had to grab a paper menu. They also forgot my sour cream on my taco, but it was delicious without it. They put salsa on when I just wanted tomato, so I scraped it off and my hubby ate it (I detest onions). The person who took our order was nice, though he might be new, he was still very friendly. The new look is more modern and a bit more sleek. I like it. We will be back again! read more

My Mahi tacos with fresh Pico was excellent, Nina's black bean, goat cheese and marinated steak burrito will be just as good tomorrow for lunch when she eats the other half, and since I was starving, I added 1 Above Average Jose ground beef taco, which is the standard taco, but with the addition of the most amazing Chipotle Mayo. When we tell people that we were moving to Burrillville everyone would say, "The Taco Shop! You have to go!". Well, they were correct. What a great little gem this is. Their food is really delicious. You can't go wrong with anything. It was so good in fact that I ordered 30 tacos for my surprise proposal gathering with friends and family. We hadn't even moved our table and chairs into the new house yet, and I needed delicious food for the crowd that I knew would be ready quick and easy to eat during all the excitement. Was my first time eating here and I was floored by how the pork belly was crispy, yet still super juicy. I keep hearing about the taco shop but literally every single time I've called it's busy! I finally realized that on Taco Tuesday ($1 tacos) people lose their minds- lol! So I've learned if I want tacos on Tuesday I literally have to call and order shortly after they open otherwise - you're not gettin tacos on Taco Tuesday! My son does gymnastics at Sport Kid Elite gymnastics which is conveniently right down the street. So every Tuesday morning/afternoon I call ahead and place my order for tacos! They're good but they don't allow substitutions! So we buy the Mexican taco cheese and add this when we get home because we need our tacos to have cheese! I think if you add cheese the price triples or quadruples so- better off just adding it yourself! Then when my son is finished with gymnastics we go pick up our tacos & enjoy them at home! So aside from the tacos- which myself and 7 year old son love and think are really good I haven't tried anything else! I can't wait to try the burritos and other items on their menu. I've heard about this place since moving to Glocester 5 years ago but I rarely get a chance to come here & on the random times I've tried for takeout - the phone is constantly busy/off the hook. So if you live in the area and are interested in trying taco Tuesday. PLEASE CALL AHEAD! I redownload Yelp to write this review so you know it had to be good. I was getting ready to get on the highway but wanted to stop to get some food before I headed out. After a quick search, I found that it had some of the best reviews in the area. I got the "strange trip quesadilla" (mushrooms, onions, and cheese) and chips w/ guac. Both were excellent. It's not really a "sit-down" restaurant but there are places to sit if you want. The restaurant was clean and it was nice to see what was being cooked. They were somewhat busy when I came in so I definitely recommend calling ahead. Service was reasonably pleasant. Honestly I'm sad that I don't live closer. read more

First off, the food here is PHENOMENAL and deserves 10 stars. We've literally spent thousands at this establishment at this point. Unfortunately there's one staff member who ruins the experience almost every time we order from here. Her name is Tonya (might be spelled Tanya) and she seems like the living embodiment of misery. I understand that people have bad days but this is such a reoccurring thing that I have to believe it's just embedded in her personality at this point. Constantly looking irritated in person, like it's a giant annoyance to the point where we can tell when she's the person taking the phone order immediately because of the sound of irritation. I've literally seen her roll her eyes while she takes a phone order from somebody as if they aren't supporting her business with their order. The rest of the staff is phenomenal, warm and welcoming and she makes it uncomfortable to even think about putting an order in from this place anymore. It's unfortunate because the food is THAT good. Hopefully whatever is constantly troubling her gets better so her attitude and face can maybe reflect that. To the rest of the staff, thank you so much for everything you do! Side note, we try to support local businesses as much as possible and I've even purchased some of their merch to support, this woman in particular is just a Debby downer on the whole experience. I don't live in the area but have been coming here for Years, drive from EP for every tasty morsel I have ever had! Menu staples like pork belly tacos or pocket of hell, to specials like weed tacos- all amazing!! I haven't been in a minute and decided to try something new, very unlike me but couldn't resist the 420 crunch wrap... yet again, blown away by the flavor combos these artists put together!! I've been dying to try this spot. I was slightly underwhelmed and disappointed. It's a fast casual place so you order at the counter and then they ll it out and you pick it up. The place was busy and there was a good amount of call in orders coming through which is always a good sign. My husband ordered the chicken BLT quesadilla which was good and the portion size was good. I ordered steak tacos. I orders a corn tortilla because they are my favorite but I was expecting a soft corn tortilla which it was not it was a hard taco. Had I known that I would have gotten a flour tortilla. Also the thing that got me was we waited at least 20 minutes for our food and my steak was cold. Which was very disappointing. The steak was well proportioned in the tacos and well seasoned. We also got churro bites which were good and they came with caramel. The caramel was cold and I think it would have been better if it was warm. I absolutely love this place!! The comfortable atmosphere (especially the great music), the friendly people, the yummy food - just amazeballs!! We had potato & leek soup, pineapple sausage soup, pork belly tacos (hard and soft shell), chips w/ guacamole - everything was fresh, homemade, generous portions and D E L I C I O U S ! The specials board looked enticing with some unique offerings (sorry I didn't take a pic, but will next time). Soooo I just want to let all of you know, I just had one of the best burritos of my life. I got the Dynamite burrito which consists of spicy ground beef, grilled (and what seemed to be caramelized *drool emoji*) onions and charred to perfection grilled peppers, charred tomato citrus salsa, cheddar cheese, scallions and sour cream. The two times I've visited The Taco Shop, this is what I've gotten. I can't stray away. The citrus salsa in the burrito gives it an awesome tang. This place serves their food with fresh and hand prepared ingredients. What more could you ask for? This visit, I went a little wild and ordered the cinnamon sugar churro bites. Two words: GET THEM. For $1.75, they are the best dessert I've ever had. The caramel sauce is to die for. Did they melt the caramel in shop? It sure tastes like it. I will buy 4 orders of these and not be mad or ashamed about it AT ALL. Another thing I'd like to add is when I walked in to pick up my order, the girls in there are working their asses off (it was only 10 minutes after opening). Yum yum yum! One dollar taco Tuesdays? Yes yes yes! Seriously, this place is a bit off the beaten path unless you live in Burrillville but it's well worth the drive! The tacos are above average but generally standard fare, they just ein you over with their dirt heap pricing! On the flip side of this are the (still reasonably priced) burritos, that are creative, filling and stuffed full of flavor! I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken burrito, they used a cooler name, but it was so delicious I forgot it's name! This place would be great for family dinner, friends nights out and most general occasions that you aren't feeling or don't need table service. The drinks are cooler drinks so no free refills but really no big deal to be honest. Come try this place out, especially if you like tacos! read more
