Beautiful and challenging 9-Hole Golf Course! A little confusing mapping out which Green is next. Especially if it's your 1st time playing there. Wish the green mats had some kind of golf tee to hit off of. This is a nice course for all levels of golf. Green fee's are reasonable too! I highly recommend this "Mill Valley Golf Course" Give it a shot...You won't be disappointed!

Hidden Gem This place is a great find for those who have the hook up...I don't know exactly how some friends of mine snagged this place for a collassal end of summer party but it was awesome! Guessing that it is owned by whoever owns the golf course out there, it is a cozy little spot secludded on a hill which makes for the "let's make it happen" factor at night. Let's get down to why you wanna rent this place... Great for Parties, Weddings, etc Full Kitchen(BYOF) Bar/Cocktail Room ( BYOB) Huge Dance Floor & Stage (BYOD.J) Bathrooms for staff and guest (BYOAS) Nice seating area Spectacular View Things to look out for if you do rent this place... Parking(limited but decent) Doors( Don't close them all cause it will get rank stank up in there) Cops ( Noise ordinance after Midnight) Crazy People( you never know who's lurking around in the dark) Ps: For those not hip to the lingo..BYO= Bring Your Own(food, booze, music man, and air spray)

Look, the Mill Valley Golf Course is what it is. A track stick in a time that was much more simple. Built in 1912, it's remained pretty much the same and that gives it charm. You're able to play the 9 holes in under two hours and experience a nice little walk through the woods for $20 bucks. Pretty good deal for a city track. What can you expect? The greens were in better shape than I thought they would be, fairways kind of a mess but you get what you pay for, right? The best part...the old retired guys working behind the counters and laid back attitude. Reminds me of what golfing would have been like in the 1940s or 50s. Catch it on a warm sunny day and you'll enjoy your time out in nature. Forget about your score and have a nice walk.

A 101 year old 9 hole municipal course with very moderate rates. The greens are very well maintained and hold shots well. 4th hole may be the most difficult par 4 you'll ever encounter and the walk off the green is the most beautiful view of Mt. Tam in the entire county. Heed warning when playing in a rainy winter season (it is mentioned in many reviews) and will be sloppy out there as the drainage needs work. When dry it is a magical spot for a $20 nine hole loop through the redwoods.

This is tough......as I think you must consider the horrible weather we had this winter and the effect it had. But as it stands today in early April, the conditions, specifically in the middle of the fairways and just off the greens, are the worst I've ever seen. The starter said "you'll lose some balls" and said he'd warned others as well. But I didn't think he meant in the middle of the fairways! He was right, I lost at least 3 in the fairways and several other times I had to hunt for several minutes to find them (see pictures for proof). That being said, I was so impressed with the natural beauty of the area! The redwoods, view of Mt Tam, and even a deer feeding near the 8th tee. If this course was well maintained, at least the fairways, I would feel very differently. There were a few holes that made no sense: the direction of #4 is confusing and the yardage is way off, and the tee box on #6 is ridiculous as it's so short you need an 8 or 9 iron, but the overhanging tree is so low you have to punch it to keep it low. I've included several pictures so you can judge for yourself. In the end I would rather take a jog through this course for exercise than play golf on it, but it's only $21 so I guess you get what you pay for.

The perfect 9 hole. All the challenges that make a course fun (and no florida fluff sand bunkers). The views are amazing. Nothing super technical, but the course will make you think about your shots. Some really nasty off camber slopes to get on the wrong side of! A great walking course!!

Cool little course in the hills. Great for beginners. Inexpensive and a nice drive in the hills to the course.

It's easy enough to find and the parking lot is a decent size, if you're a guest for the Inn park in the spot referenced by your room number. I went in the door and was greeted by the desk host, check in was as easy as they come. She walked me up to our room pointing out the necessary. Our single key worked on our room door but not on the outside door to enter the Inn as we were told it would. Yes we found WiFi once we got down to the pub the one modern convenience we needed but only two electrical sockets in the room, one in the bathroom. No flat screen, no AC, I found a space heater and a fan in the closet...Okay. we'll manage. The bed was quite high and there is a step stool to help climb into bed. Lots of yummy sheets and a quilt. The mattress was good, not great, two sides of the bed are against the wall. (Somebody's crawling over) The bathroom was small of course, only one in the shower, soap and stuff dispensers on the wall. Our window opened to the front yard, a nice ocean breeze kept us cool. Quaint and yet a bit noisy next door until everyone settles down for bed. Dinner downstairs (a separate review) After dinner we walked a half mile to Muir beach and enjoyed the sun set, perfect. No Pub partying for us these days, we woke up early for our Muir Woods adventure today. Included is a freshly cooked English breakfast (other options too) outside was cool, damp, and foggy this morning. Welcome to summer on the california coast. This feels like home. and that's where we are headed after our Redwood hunt. Martin-foodguy

We stopped in for drinks and absolutely loved the atmosphere. They have a great selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, making it a wonderful place to relax after exploring nearby Muir Beach. The inn itself is full of charm and character. There are several cozy rooms and seating areas, each with its own unique feel. I especially loved the dark, old-world ambiance and the fact that they use real candles throughout the building, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere that is hard to find these days. Although we didn't stay overnight, we learned that the property also operates as a small hotel with a handful of guest rooms, which makes it even more special. I can easily imagine spending a weekend here. One thing dog owners should know: dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio if you're ordering food. If you're just stopping by for drinks, there are also a few benches on the lawn where you can sit with your dog and enjoy a beverage while admiring the beautiful cottage-style building and surrounding grounds. We did exactly that and loved it. Whether you're looking for lunch, a drink, a cozy place to unwind, or simply want to wander around and enjoy the unique setting, I highly recommend stopping by. It's a charming hidden gem just minutes from Muir Beach and one of the most memorable places we visited during our trip.

I had booked our tee times well in advance, but there was a bit of a miscommunication on the books when we arrived, and the staff seemed surprised by our family check-in. Honestly, Nate was the absolute MVP of the day. Without him, our day would have been ruined. So, we truly appreciate him and we were so grateful that he went above and beyond to get us completely taken care of, ensuring our family was able to stick together and play/spectate as a group for the whole round. We timed the day perfectly, wrapping up on the 18th hole right around 8 PM. To cap off a great day, we had dinner at The Conservatory. The planning process was great, although Tianna, the individual on we initially worked closely with, transitioned to a different place so we were paired with another person on the team by the final walk through. Despite the change, everyone else on the team has been phenomenal, especially Christiana and Marisa so definitely all staff is AMAZING! When they mean they will handle everything, they seriously took care of everything day of. I did not have to ask my bridesmaids to do a single thing which helped with the overall process. The staff took meticulous notes during our final walk through and planning so everything was as envisioned. Christiana was our day of coordinator and seriously, she was the most patient and kindest person I've ever met. She was smiling the entire time, truly genuine, and had the kindest heart. No words could describe how she is as a person and I'm truly grateful to have had the privilege of working with her. As an anxious Type A person, I could not imagine how my day would have gone without having such a genuine calm person by my side. Day of, we were running about 30 minutes behind schedule, which wasn't anyone's fault. We took a bunch of photos during cocktail hour per our request, there was confusion with our escort cards on our end, and my dress had to be adjusted for every photo, oops! We still managed to adapt and the entire team, including the DJ, was flexible and calm throughout which I truly appreciated. Open bar was great and bartenders were awesome! Definitely worth the top shelf liquor package. Food was good although we had small hiccup with the prime rib and there was miscommunication about the buffet. However, I am more than happy with how management and staff handled the problem. They took accountability, ownership, and offered a resolution - that in itself to me is more than I could have asked for. With weddings or any event, there are small issues or error to arise, so I'm more than pleased with how Marisa and the team went above and beyond even after the wedding. We got a lot of compliments on the venue itself. From the outside ceremony site to the indoor ballroom, every area was stunning. All my guests are primarily from the East Bay so it was a nice change in scenery yet still close to home. Overall, I'd recommend this venue!
