"The Rain, the Wind, the Views, and the Golf "....."what more can u ask for"…read more.. Golfing at the Links is always fun. We been coming annually for a few years and Bodega Links has always been accommodating. The "Guy" running the show is kind of LEGENDARY. He somehow manages to gather 20+ semi intoxicated dudes to post up for a photo ops prior to sending us on the course. - Course is super fun, even for a "not-at-all Super Pro" like myself who golf approximately1.7 times a year. LOL. - this place rivals some of the best courses i tee off at. Highly recommended teeing off at the Links whenever you get a chance. Sometimes you might get "Lucky" and get a hole-in-one where I'm holding the flag.

The greens are true but can be difficult to read (both speed and break, but that may be a personal problem, too. LOL) Holes #16 and #17 are very unique, but add to the charm, IMO. (It's not for everyone though.) Carts have GPS. There is no true driving range here -- only a netted cage. Plenty of convenient food and beverage options at the course -- both sit-down and to-go. Adequate parking. This track and the amenities make this an awesome golf destination with all of the lodging and dining options in the Bodega area.

Indeed speaking with a loud voice here almost feels like committing a sin. Even though I lived in eastern Sonoma county on & off for 51 years, yesterday was the first time I ever played golf here. My reason for the absence was "What, drive 50 minutes to play a 9 hole golf course? I live on a golf course where I'm a member of the club." Yep, Bone head excuse. This course is well maintained. Fairways are mowed nicely. There's no forest litter in the playing areas. Putting greens are smooth. And some of the greens are tricky with hills and dales. Of course the key to success here for a low score is to hit the ball straight to a landing zone that you can see. Don't attempt hero short cut shots through or above the grove of trees. Shot shaping around a curve is most likely to get you into trouble. If you are a golf addict that lives far away who happens to visit this part of California I heartedly recommend that you come here to play a game. If you are a local resident and have never played here, GO!

It's convenient, easy to get on and the golf services staff is as accommodating as possible. I've been very impressed with the club's response to member feedback. In the past two years, the club has added a driving range, switched food operators and is in the process of adding pedestrian bridges over creaks to make the course more walkable. The course is the perfect balance for me. It receives way more care than the average public course, but doesn't have the stuffiness of a private country club. They focus on providing a fun and relaxing outdoor experience and don't worry about trying to promote exclusivity. To be thorough, I will mention a downside. The course is hard. If you need a flat course where you can spray your drive any direction, then this course is not for you. It's fair, but it's not easy. I'm a bogey golfer and don't mind the difficulty except I usually lose an extra 3 balls then I would at a muni course. I'm so happy and thankful to have Stonetree. Every weekend, I am able to take a much needed break from my busy life and enjoy some quality time playing golf.

My husband and I had the best day of our lives and it's all thanks to the wonderful vendors who made our dream come true. I am a type A person and loves emails, organization and responsiveness. Susan did a wonderful job answering all our questions and concerns and helping set up for our wedding day. When we first met her for our wedding tasting, I was blown away by her warmful approach and demeanor. She truly is a people's person and it makes a world of a difference when this is not a job, but truly something that she loves. She is by far meant for this role to plan events. On our rehearsal day, all my bridal party and family commented on how warm and inviting and great Susan was. She even poured us champagne and made it so fun and kicked off our wedding weekend! On the day of the event, she took such great care of my husband and I, making sure we had apps and drinks after the ceremony so that we can have a breather and enjoy our time as a newly married couple before we greet all of our guests. What a special touch and so absolutely needed. She made my girls all feel wonderful and cared for. She made all my guests feel special. In terms of MCC, it's a beautiful venue that is well cared and manicured. Our guests all loved the food and the bar service and they had the best time. Thank you so much the best day of our lives.

I rarely played golf here, because the course was always in poor shape and it's only 9 holes. Well, that changed about a week ago. A buddy and I were looking to get out for a quick round and he suggest Healdsburg. Sure, why not I thought. I was very surprised at the current shape/condition of the course. Very nice. I even went back for another 9 a few days later to get in some work. The course has some challenging holes. I think there are only two holes where you aren't dealing with elevation. Staff was very helpful, nice. Also something you don't see much anymore. Before they send you down to the first tee, there is a box with scorecards and pencils...but also plastic ball markers, a divot tool and tees. The round with cart was pretty reasonable and pretty quick if you go early enough. Good job HGC!
