I took my son here to try out some things out. The shop is cute and clean and had lots of quotes on the wall. The menu is big and I. Ended help getting through it. The service was super quick and the employees were friendly. We got the strawberry cheesecake protein shake and the pumpkin chocolate chip donuts. My son loved the donuts and ate those right up. Neither one of us loved the shake, it was too chalky tasting so I'll definitely need to try a chocolate flavor next time to see if I like that better. I've passed by this place several times recently and finally got a chance to stop by on Saturday! It's tucked away in the back corner of a little strip mall right across the street from Brickyard Plaza on 3300 S. It's in such a perfect location because it's close to Vasa and a couple other boutique gyms in the area. They have a pretty extensive menu with protein smoothies, juices, and protein bowls. I was a little intimidated by the menu because I had never been before, but the person at the front was SO helpful in explaining the different menus to me after I told her I had never been before. I wish I had caught her name because she was so sweet and helpful. There are so many fun flavors of juices and smoothies and different drink modifications you can order as well. I went with just a classic PB chocolate banana smoothie and it was delicious. I ordered their regular sized smoothie and it kept me full all day. I ordered probably around 10:30ish in the morning, and wasn't hungry again until dinner time. It was really delicious as well - I will definitely be coming back. I want to try some of the other options, but I'm also a creature of habit and LOVED my order so I might have to stick to that for a little while. I didn't realize this until I was driving home, but they wrote "You are strong!" on my cup which I thought was such a cute little touch. I will admit, I was skeptical at first with the name "nutrition" in the title. But with all the rave reviews, we had to try it out. It absolutely lived up to the expectation and exceeded it. We grabbed a cheesy waffle and a chocolate and peanut butter waffle. We also grabbed a coffee. The restaurant name suggests, these are all protein filled. I expected these to have a chalky taste as normally is when I try to make stuff with protein powder. This was the exact opposite. These were So soft and moist like a sponge cake. I was blown away at how good these waffles tasted, and the fact that they are incredibly healthy with good macro and micro nutrients. They do use sugar-free sauces on top to minimize the caloric intake. Everything was top-notch and reasonably priced, so I will definitely be coming here again in the future, especially after a long day of hikes, tennis, or skiing! read more

I want to take a minute to update my review of Millcreek Nutrition. They have since moved to their new location (closer to the Exxon on 3300 S and 1100 E; just south of that intersection) since my first time visiting. I seriously love this place! It has saved me (my nutrition and gut) sooooo many times, and it has been my favorite place to grab a snack or a hydrating drink. The owners, Celeste and Christhian are amazing!!!!! Celeste even brought me a drink to work one day after spilling mine. They host awesome customer appreciation events where we even got to meet Utah's # 1 MMA fighter, Kent Mafileo (that was super cool). They have updated the decor and selfie walls a few times now and have added affirmations to the main wall. The store is clean and relaxing, and I have spent much time talking to Celeste, Christhian, & staff about life in general. I feel like they have become friends. Thank you so much Millcreek Nutrition! This was my first time visiting and Millcreek Nutrition truly has something for everyone! The kind man working at the counter was so helpful with providing some recommendations from fruity and sweet to chocolate-y and rich. They offer a plethora of nutritional boosters and add-in's that you can truly make any of their products to your specific liking. I got the smallest size and it filled me up as a lunch replacement and I drank the remainder for breakfast the following morning! It was refreshing and filling and really had that nostalgic blueberry crumb taste and texture. I was overwhelmed by the menu and think I list have overlooked the pricing part of the menu because I was a little surprised that my shake ended up being $9. I first had Millcreek Nutrition after a class at Mcycle. When I finally made it to their location after a morning at the gym, I was pleased to see how many options they have. They have a variety of drinks, including coffees and shakes, and some food options like waffles, oats, and donuts. ALL WITH PROTEIN. As someone who loves putting protein in any recipe I make, this place had me very excited. I chose the carrot cake donuts and Southern Belle specialty drink (tropical peach mango watermelon) to try. I love how their menu lists the nutrition facts including how many grams of protein each item has. And if it's missing you can simply ask one of the staff to confirm for you. They were super friendly and offered most popular item suggestions for my first time. They write encouraging notes on your cup and have a bright, happy backdrop for a photo opportunity. A bit tricky to find as the surrounding shops are under construction so lots in the way but I was determined to try it. Christian was so polite and told me about my options, especially gluten free. $ I was so happy to find Millcreek Nutrition before an early morning Doctor appointment. They open at 6am most mornings, and while the location is a little obscure, I'm going to start looking for excuses to be in that part of town. The gentleman working there was very helpful in explaining my options, making suggestions, and steering in the right direction. This is NOT just another Jamba or Roxberry, it really is so much more than that. These are meal replacement shakes (think healthy protein packed milkshake) and all the nutritional values are listed on their menu too. Normally, at classic smoothie places they're all, or mostly, fruity. Millcreek Nutrition does have fruity options, but they mostly have milkshake type flavors. I ordered the regular size Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana shake. It was HEAVEN! Oh man. I devoured it quicker than I'd like to admit. It was just SO good! Creamy, chocolatey, perfect balance of peanut butter and banana, sweet with a hint of savory but very balanced. No weird Protein Powder aftertaste or chalky texture. I seriously loved it so much! The size was perfect, although I could have easily inhaled the larger size. Besides the Meal Replacement Shakes, they have Energy Drinks, Specialty Beverages, Protein Bowls, Protein Waffles, Protein Coffee, and Pre Workout Drinks. I wish they had more locations, but maybe eventually. I also love their fun feature wall, and that they write positive encouraging messages on their cups. Such a cute personalized idea. I headed to millcreek nutrition after my lagree class at peak45 - they did a small appearance there - and it was the best decision I made post workout. I went against my usual chocolate-y nutty preferences and got their mango smoothie bowl and it was delicious. It legit tasted like mango ice cream despite lacking the added fillers. I topped mine with chia seeds, mango and coconut and was in tropical heaven. I cannot wait to come back and try everything else they have on their menu since this place really has a lot of options for my low carb, high protein diet. read more
