Since this business opened, I had never visited them until about a month ago. First time I visited MLC I was pleasantly pleased and the drinks were somewhat different from swig and some of the others so I begin going at least a couple of times a week and always purchasing from 1 to 3 drinks each visit. Today was an extremely hot day and a nice cold drink sounded really good so I decided I would go to thirst. Ask the other two family members what they wanted and got their order. When I arrived, there were a few cars in line and they were moving pretty slow, but I patiently waited. After a few minutes, awaiting a guy comes out and takes my order before I got to the window, he gave you my total and I paid him with my card. I do have a loyalty customer number which he did not ask for so when I got up to the window, I told the girl that he had forgotten to ask me for a mile loyalty number, so I can receive credit for my purchase. She looked at me and she said it was too late to add it in which, for a fact, I know it was not. I looked at her and I told her I was a new customer and she was not willing to resolve this issue. I would not be coming back to this business. I would patronize their competitor instead she looked at me and she said ok next time I'll make sure you get your loyalty points, I told her I'm interested in getting my loyalty points for this order and today then I asked to speak to a manager. Another young girl came over to be the manager, but was probably just a lead person whatever she was she knew what she was doing. Thirst has the best treats around, hands down! Whether it be pretzel bites, scotcharoos, or beignets everything is delicious. I also love that they include free popcorn with every order. My family prefers coming to Thirst vs the other soda shops, because the founder Ethan, at least on social media, seems so genuine & great. At each location, the staff is always helpful and friendly. This specific location is a bit different, as it has indoor seating. It also has a self-service ordering screen, which isn't as seamless as I'd hope, but it's pretty good. The drive thru could be faster, but we fix that by just going inside to order. Each location definitely has it's aesthetic, a bright orange & almost 70s vibe. The seating at this location is a nice touch, as we like to get the drinks AND treats and it's always nicer to be out of the car for the treats. I am obsessed with Thirst and dream about it regularly as I unfortunately don't live in SLC. My favorite drink is the Kick Back Rickey with raspberry. Service is always quick at this location even when there is a long drive through line (although I would recommend going inside if there is a long drive through line because its usually faster). Kind of disappointing that they don't do little pup cups anymore. Yes, my dog is accustomed to getting a tiny cup of whipped cream. What a local experience to try out! This place is popping!!! You must try the Beignets!! They are so light and fluffy and much better than expected for a drive thru. This place is delicious and treats are so fun. I love that they have weekend specials that change each week and that they give free popcorn out, and our cookie was fresh from the oven! I also love that they offer Fresca, which most other drink places don't. However, I just waited 25 minutes in the drive thru to order a drink, which is truly just not sustainable. Had I known it would take so long I probably would have gone somewhere else. The speed of service needs to improve, but the business is a great idea and otherwise well executed. read more

I wish I could give zero stars for the experience I had with Sage. I have never been more humiliated in my life. From the moment I interacted with her, she was unprofessional and rude. What was most appalling was how she mocked my stutter. She laughed at me and even made jokes about it, which was not only deeply hurtful but completely unacceptable. I came in expecting basic respect and decency, but Sage's behavior was degrading and humiliating. Her attitude made it clear she had no interest in providing good service or treating customers with kindness. If this is how customers are treated here, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. No one should have to endure such unprofessionalism and outright cruelty. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses her behavior because this is not okay. read more

This place has horrible customer service. I ordered 3 drinks and 2 of them spilled due to their drink carrier. On top of that my other drink was in my car cup holder and caused a flood in my car which now I have to get cleaned which is going to cost me $80 at least. I came back to the establishment asking them to make it right and they refused. They had to call their CEO and their CEO refused to do the bare minimum. Now I have to pay $80 for my car to get cleaned, plus I didn't get three drinks that I paid for today originally. I am a community member that lives less than a mile way. I will be handing out flyers all over the community and do whatever I can so that no one patronize to this establishment again. Again, this is due to their lack of customer service and care their community. I used to love coming here - but the service has gone downhill. We just waited in line 25 minutes for two sodas and pretzels. When we finally did get to the window they asked us to pull forward and we waited 15 more minutes! My husband finally went inside and they were just putting them in the oven! If we didn't just pay $15 we would have just left. Also when I ordered my my original drink with grapefruit syrup, he said they were out. So I changed my order - nbd, but then I ordered pretzel bites and he said they were out of the dip. Ordering through the app was pretty convenient and time saving! However, when I got to the store, I wasn't acknowledged by any of the staff and it was hard to get their attention. I had to wait a bit until someone from the lobby called out to one of the employees who seemed to be working in the sitting area called out for someone to take my order which was when I proceeded to tell her I had an app pick-up order and she went to get the rest of my items. The pretzel was very good and the marinara sauce went perfect with it. Unfortunately, my what was supposed to be "light ice" Italian soda with grenadine had too much ice and I couldn't taste any of the flavor syrup. I really love thirst. Their soda is carbonated just right and their snacks are great. I love following them on Instagram-their energy is amazing! But when I actually go it is never as great as they make it seem. Their 2 lane drive thru is a great idea but it never makes it go any faster. There were 4 cars in one lane and none in the other. We went to the empty lane obviously (as they advertise- any lane any time). But they only had 1 drive thru person out taking orders. The girl was nice but continued to take all 4 cars orders in the other lane before coming over to our lane to take ours. Why have two lanes if you have to wait just as long? I could overlook this but today and the last 2 times that I've gone to Thirst I've received the wrong drink. The first and second time this happened I made the mistake of not checking my drink first and drove off with the wrong drink. Those times, I brushed it off as a innocent mix-up. Today I ordered about 4 drinks that they provided in a drink carrier. So I didn't check every drink as it was a handful! I should've though, because I received the wrong drink, yet again. I work in the restaurant/hospitality industry so I know mistakes happen, more often than lots of people think, but I have received the wrong drink more times than I have received the right drink. I had a very bad experience at thirst today. First a very sus lady came to the window and she seemed like she was up to something. I ordered a Root beer with vanilla ice cream inside. When we got our order, I put my straw into my cup and everything went "BOOM". I immediately got drenched in sticky Root Beer and it got all over my phone and broke it.
