Let me start by saying the owner of this store is the nicest lady and because of…read morethat I debated writing this but I don't want any other bride to have to go through what I did. You picture finding your wedding gown as this amazing experience in your wedding journey. Well my whole experience with the dress was a complete disaster thanks to Ladies Gents and Bridal/ Blush Bridal. When I first went to try dresses on I walked in to a rude "Can I help you?". It was like it was inconvenient for me to be in there. You think walking into the store you would see some nice bubbly faces waiting to make you happy and help you find the perfect dress. Nope! I was put in a room and never asked if I needed help trying on the dresses so my sister went in to help me. I never felt welcomed the whole time! It was like she wanted me in and out. I did happen to fall in love with a dress and purchased it along with 4 bridesmaids dresses. When I went in for my first fitting my $1700 dress was all wrinkled up to the point it didn't even look like the dress I ordered! You think since it was delivered to them like that they would straighten it out some! Nope, it was something I had to fix. When I tried on the dress I could hardly zip it up! It was so uncomfortably tight I had skin folding over the top of the dress ( I weight 130lbs... I don't have back fat). I asked the girl if this is the way it was suppose to be and she told me "yes". I've never seen a bride my height and size with back fat! No, I did not gain weight! She told me I could get it taken out and it would be $150. So i proceeded with the fixing of the dress.... until I got a call from 3 of my bridesmaids stating there dresses did not fit as well. One of my bridesmaids dresses was 4 inches to small!!!!! Also, one of the girls had been ordered a size 10 dress. She called back a couple days later to let them know she wanted a size 8 because there was no way she was a 10. Turns out it would have been HUGE because the 8 was still a little loose. The other two girls did not want to have to deal with Blush/Ladies so they went elsewhere to get there dresses altered. I called to speak to the manager about the situation and she was completely rude to me!!!! I then I asked to speak to the owner. She was very nice to me and ordered me a whole new dress as well as one of my bridesmaids. They could make all the excuses in the world on what happened but according to a lot of the reviews this is a common thing with the Bridal shop and I'm not the only one this has happened to. When I went in to try on my new dress SUPRISE it fit! Perfectly! Every time I went in for a fitting (besides the time the owner was there) no one was friendly or offered to help me put my dress on. Its a shame that the owner is loosing business because of her employees.
