I guess I had a completely different experience with Kaylee. It was horrible. When I walked out of there, I had to go home and redo my hair in order to get some body I told her I wanted a body and what I got was a frizzy straight hair. I never had experience like that ever. Maybe I've just gone to too many excellent hairstylist. But she was horrible. I'll never go to her again. In fact I may never even go into the salon again. Kaylee could care less how my hair came out, so I'm not quite sure why you had such different experience than I did. We came here because I was gifted 2 half hour salt therapy room sessions so I decided to use the session with my hubby. We have never done this before so we honestly didn't know what to expect. The benefits it to promote better sleeping, skin, breathing and overall wellness. We weren't told any tips or anything when we booked so we just went with gym clothes on. We went to the front desk, they offered water and was led to the salt room which had two beach chairs and a bed (for someone who requested a massage in the salt room I guess). It was interesting. Honestly, we were not very comfortable but tried our best to get comfortable. Salt was everywhere: floors, walls, everywhere. You can taste the salt. We were told to stay in at least 15 minutes after the half hour session to reap the benefits. We walked out with salt all over our clothes and my purse. And that was it! I gave them my gift certificates and they thanked us for coming in. It was quite awkward honestly. First off, I wish they gave us more of an introduction before we were led to the salt room, a chance to go to the bathroom, a locker to put our belongings, and maybe slippers before we go in the room but we didn't get any of that. I don't plan to be back but it was an interesting experience that's for sure. read more

My wife had her haircut there for the first time and the stylist did not listen to her request and ended up giving her a horrible haircut taking off about 4 inches when she asked for no more than 1 inch. When she called the salon to let them know, she was told a manager would call her back. The manager never called. Obviously customer satisfaction is not their priority. read more

We were here visiting and my daughter lost a bet. So she donated her hair. Here's the before and after! We were able to get in quickly and service was good. Highly recommend Cindy! She took the time to ask my daughter what she wanted and even showed her pictures from her phone to get a better idea. Went here a week ago and got the whole experience, massage, facial, mani+pedi and blowout. The staff was incredibly nice and did a great job except for my nails. She didn't listen to what I wanted and did a rushed job that I had to pay additionally for. I upgraded to gel on my toes which was fine but didn't receive any foot massage or scrub and I upgraded to dip on my nails but she apparently didn't have time to and rushed. The dip goes over my cuticles and when I asked for a fine French tip (I showed multiple pictures) she instead did a very thick ombré. Each nail was a different shape so when I got home it took an hour for me to even out my nails. Now that it's been a week all of the nails are lifting and chipping and wasn't worth the $$ Highly recommend every other service but nails. read more

Had appointment with Cindy. Did not know could not swim before coming. She was arrogant and said 2x she was Scottsdale's premiere color master. She then canceled my appointment. Really so nasty. I still tried to make it work. Her assistant was so nice. Cindy refused to reschedule. I had taken my mom to Aria and she was so sweet, I tipped more than the entire bill. For hair every one is good there but ask for CHRISTINE she specializes in color and she is an expert in cut and styling! CHRISTINE does an awesome job on MY hair. Oh! There was a customer that came in who had color done from another Scottsdale salon that really screwed up her color, what a mess, all different colors! CHRISTINE did wonders on her color that it looked beautiful. CHRISTINE IS A WONDER WOMAN WITH HAIR SUCH A NATURAL. I hope that customer post the before and after pics, you will not believe the difference. For brows ask for Rita, she is awesome with brows. Color Correction Salon IS THE BEST. Walked in on a Monday from a Saturday bad color dye from another salon. Nellie is the BEST! She worked with me and stayed over her schedule time to get the green out and remove the old dark red/copper color. It was very pricey but worth it. She removed the color first with a gentle B6 professional color remover (not oops), and then highlighted it. It has not looked this good in over years. There is so much definition and a good color base that it really is absolutely gorgeous. It makes me feel 20 years younger. read more

I have had several services now, at Millenium and felt its high time I commented on them. Hair color and cut-excellent! Gel mani and pedi -excellent! Microdermabrasion and collagen facial-amazing! I'm not naming names because I have observed and experienced first hand that there are many excellent stylists and technicians at this establishment and wouldn't hesitate to try any of them. Carol is absolutely amazing. I always get a gel manicure and it lasts AT LEAST 3 weeks. She doesn't use a drill and is very gently with my nails. I will never go to anyone besides Carol even though it's a 30 minute drive. I love her work. I started going to her with a Groupon but I did not have a problem booking an appointment and always just book my next appointment 2-3 weeks out. Prior to finding Millennium, I was a lone wolf roaming the mediocre hairstylist wasteland. I went from stylist to stylist, not really getting that perfect cut. I became a client on a walk in basis, and happened to run into the owner Edye at the front desk. She graciously recommended I book an appointment with Missy, who she stated was excellent at men's cuts. Missy is the hairstylist who intuitively knows what works and what doesn't. No need for long explanations, or correcting her mid way through your cut. Sit back, relax, and you'll come out looking good. I have always found the front desk to be friendly in addition to other stylists in the salon.
