Absolutely horrible job. Jair, the owner, was hired to sand, stain, and seal my oak floors…read morethroughout the house, about 2,500 sq. feet with two flights of stairs. He promised to do his best work, as I told him in advance not to take on the job if he isn't meticulous. In the end, he damaged my floors then quit half was through the job, just after staining, because he said he couldn't fix the damage done (after denying there was an issue at all- see photos). He also got stain all over the baseboards, door trims, and spilled on my front porch. What's more, the dustless sanding was anything but dustless. He didn't even put cheesecloth in the air vents and returns, but of course had the heat running as he worked so all the air ducts and my HVAC system got clogged up with dust and needed $1,800 worth of repairs and cleaning. Ended up having to hire an attorney and public adjustor to get reimbursed for the work and collect damages. Turns out his insurance doesn't cover him for damage, nor does my homeowner's policy due to a standard "quality of work" exclusion. In the end it cost me $19,000 to have the floors redone, HVAC system fixed & cleaned, and the trim repainted. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

For a paid professional installation, this result is unacceptable. What makes this experience even worse is their complete refusal to deal with the problem afterward. I paid their invoices fully and on time. When I contacted them and asked them to return, inspect the damage, and discuss a remedy, they stopped communicating altogether. Calls were not returned. Emails were ignored. Good contractors stand behind their work. This company did not. In my experience, they delivered poor workmanship, then avoided responsibility once payment had been collected. I cannot recommend them, and I think potential clients should take this behavior very seriously.

They then did not replace the pan when doing the work. The grout cracked again quickly (within 4 months), This strongly suggests the underlying issue (likely movement, moisture, or pan failure) was never fixed. Over the course of several months we called multiple times. They set up 3 different appointments to come out and look. They never showed nor did they call to cancel or reschedule. Called the owner and he said we probably would have to replace the pan underneath.
