Today I visted his office, his lady manager asked me if I wanted to wait a while to see Dr Frank today. YES ! Dr Frank examined my left ear and pulled out a small hearing aid foam end tip ! After 42 years of sinus issues and breathing problems, I'd nearly given up. Over the years, I saw a…read morebunch of ENTs around NYC, some with great reputations, and kept getting the same answer: "You're breathing fine with the medications." Meanwhile, I had drawers full of sprays and pills that barely made a difference. It wasn't until I had major surgery with Dr. Scaccia about 7 weeks ago (the surgery lasted almost 5 hours) that I realized just how badly I'd been breathing all my life. I found Dr. Scaccia after deciding to look outside the city for help. A few things stood out right away: his office has parking, he has his own complete surgical suite right in the building, and he's clearly someone who's made a name for himself in the ENT world. His waiting room is filled with plaques, research publications, awards, and even TV and magazine features. At first, I wasn't sure what to make of all that, but now that I've gone through surgery and recovery with him, I get it. I can say with full confidence: He is the real deal. From the very first visit, it was clear I wasn't just another case. Dr. Scaccia has a fast mind and a direct way of speaking. At first, it can feel like he's talking over you, almost like his brain is already a few steps ahead. But once you realize how deeply knowledgeable he is, it all makes sense. He took the time to look inside my nose and connect what I was saying to what he saw, and right away he had a clear sense of the problem. By the second appointment, we were going over a detailed surgical plan, and I remember him saying he was genuinely excited for the case. That stuck with me. It showed how invested he is in what he does, getting real results for his patients. On the day of surgery, which took place in the same office where I'd had all my consults, Dr. Scaccia didn't just straighten my septum, he basically REBUILT MY WHOLE NASAL AIRWAY. He discovered my septum was too thin and weak, so he grafted it on the spot to reinforce it. He reduced my turbinates, cleared out scar tissue from years of infections that I didn't even know were blocking my sinuses, and he did a few more things that were explained and went over my head medically, but clearly weren't over his. What really blew me away was that after everything he did, there was no pain at all. Seriously, not even once. This was multi-level airway reconstruction. There was discomfort, sure, but not pain. Maybe that's due to his technique and high precision, or maybe I got lucky, but I think it's worth pointing out. Since then, I've been back for weekly post-op care, and every week I notice another level of improvement. I never realized how much energy I was spending just trying to get enough air through partially blocked passages. Now, I'm breathing in ways I never thought I could. It's practically effortless. It's been life-changing. His staff is also incredible. They're friendly, organized, and really on top of everything. They called me between appointments to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. They had all the paperwork ready when I woke up from surgery, and they walked me through every question I had afterward. The whole operation runs like a well oiled machine. Every time I go, the office is calm and never overcrowded. I found out he only does one surgery per day, which honestly explains a lot. He's not rushing between patients or juggling five procedures. If it's your surgery day, he's focused on you and you only. Whether it's that approach or just the fact that more people haven't discovered him yet, I feel incredibly lucky I found his place when I did. If you've been struggling with chronic sinus or nasal issues, I can't recommend Dr. Scaccia enough. For me, it's the first time in my life that I feel like I can really breathe. That alone is worth everything.

I first tried an ENT chain practice in Shrewsbury. Two years and multiple appointments later and zero improvement. I even had turbinate reduction surgery which cost my insurance company $10,000 with zero improvement! I then found Coastal ENT and my experience was vastly different. Dr Josef Shargorodsky got right to the point and ordered a CT scan to see WHY I was congested, something the Shrewsbury practice didn't do. A few weeks ago, I had septoplasty surgery and while I'm still healing, I can already breathe so much better than before. This doctor delivered results, not bullsh*t. The entire practice Coastal ENT was great, too, down to the smallest detail, including the front desk staff to the surgical coordinator to the in-house surgical team. Every step of the way, I was made to feel I was in good, competent hands. I'm so glad I stumbled on Coastal ENT.

She continued to tell me that if I showed up in her office with my son my appointment would be canceled I am wasting my time. I have to see the doctor he previously saw in only old bridge . I said I am alittle confused my son need stitches taken out that your staff failed to make his appointment in the computer when we left ? On the right side he injected precisely into the ridge of the line instead of the line itself, causing a bulge which is still present after two months - it doesn't seem it will ever go down. On the left side, aiming for the corner of the mouth, the product was deposited alongside the entire length of the lower under lip area. Permanent and semi permanent products have a protocol of injecting under contrast lights only, with very precise markings, different from the bulky fat transfer surgical marker ones. None of these requirements were met. I still do not comprehend how it is possible, even if blindfolded in actuality, to inject so incredibly far from the target, and so precisely into the areas that need the exact opposite of augmentation! Upon the complaint consultation I did not receive an apology, but was told that the product would most likely not produce a sufficient result to make a difference anyway. What a great advertisement that was! Well, but this time it did produce a result. Apparently Renuva needs to be injected into the superficial fat layer to work. Therefore it indeed did not work the previous times when it was injected into the muscle! Ironically, at last it was placed into the "correct" plane and into the most WRONG location... I asked at least for a refund, which expectedly I never heard back about.
