On top of having to get over the trauma of someone blowing a red light and striking me, I had to endure my attorney Joel Callaway work in his own bests and not mine but I've learned through the process that the Wilson P.C lacks those values and doesn't care. I made it clear from day 1 that I was insured and wanted to use my insurance. However I paid significantly more than I would as an insured with their "negotiated" attorney rates. This firm strategically, lacks communication through email to limit documentation of their wrongdoings. Joel ignored my constant follow up for a status update for almost 4 months once I advised him of the items that were misrepresented on my settlement statement. Joel Callaway could care less about your circumstances. When I initially scheduled my check pickup they listed a bill for the full amount of $10k instead of the actual bill amount of $100 copay through insurance. Once I pointed this out the disbursement specialist MSemaji told me that it was because of subrogation but I knew better because Joel didn't even report anything to my insurance after I requested him multiple times. This was the provider doing their due diligence as they are in network and had it on file. Therefore that statement was false. They also asked me to sign a hold harmless agreement while they fix things which only protects them and advises that you basically agree with what they present so if I did that they certainly would've disregarded me after. I escalated things to Monique as well and went ignored for a little over a month. It's sad that the Wilson PC has to prey on their clients lack of knowledge to survive and get the payment they really want through loopholes of misrepresentation. If you want to be stressed out on top of recovering from your accident this is the place. I do NOT recommend, but I do recommend if you proceed to get everything IN WRITING!!
