Now, there is a message to service suspension system. Our salesman Drew said that we could make an appointment and they would take a look at the shocks that they replaced to see if they were faulty. I contacted the service department to make an appointment and they told me I would have to leave my vehicle there for a couple of DAYS. I told them that this is the only transportation that gets me to and from work that I would need a loaner vehicle. They said that they are booked out months in advance for loaner vehicles that I should contact my salesman to see if he could put me in a loaner vehicle. When I reached out for help, my salesman, Drew, told me that his manager said I bought a used 2017 vehicle and that they "can barely get customers who purchased new vehicles into a loaner." That kind of response says everything about how they treat customers after the sale. It's frustrating to spend this much money on a vehicle and get no support when something goes wrong--especially for work they've already done. I expected better accountability and customer service. If you're considering buying here, be cautious. Get everything in writing and don't expect much help once you've signed the papers.

My engine was hot and sluggish going up inclines. I turned it in and it took 16 days and cost me $3,646.40. They gave me a gray Chevy Spark loaner and it died on me while out with my kid. Colton came and replaced it with an all electric vehicle, that only had 190 miles that I could use, but I have 3 jobs. I gave it back, since my car was not fixed then got another car for the time being. While my car was there with my custom paint job, bird poo and feathers cooked on the paint job due to it being parked under bird areas and not being covered. I still have not been able to get all the feathers out of my paint job. Once my vehicle was "supposedly" fixed. I was told the 150,000 mile check up, flushed my coolant systems, new hoses, an oil change and cooler kit cost. $3,646.40. Now the sad part was I paid $1981.00 in labor alone and about $1,000 in parts. I had my car 2 days and it died on me again while I was at a convention in Dallas 230 miles away from the dealership that said all was well. I had to figure out how to get it back to this dealership on my own. August 21,2024. On 26Aug24, I brought my car back since it died on my and the issues was the same. I paid for things in my car and almost 2K in labor and my car was still broken. This time they had my car for 1 month and this time said it was my alternator and my battery was low. Well if paid for inspections and diagnostics. The first time I brought the car in yet no one noticed something was wrong with my alternator so say so after $2000 came out of my pocket told some basic things that should've caught the first time and cost me a third of the price to fix. At this point I was beyond stressed, disappointed, and in a financial bind. This time the new total was $1,046.04 . Labor cost me another $355.00 and parts $608.86. My car sat in the dealership yard for 1/2 a month again, I did get a loaner, but just needed them to fix the car they misdiagnosed the first time. The service department staff was nice, but I did have to call and figure out the status of my vehicle a lot the second time around, which is not great. I drove by multiple times and noticed it was parked in the same spot. Due to it sitting the hot Texas sun for about 2 months not covered. When I got my car back all of the window tint in the vehicle was warped due to the heat. Now it must be replaced. I was driving and maintenance code 82 popped up on my dash . I do not know what could be the issue now, since I have this dealership $4,692.44 in less than 2 months for an older vehicle that should have had all the systems reset after the 150,000 mile maintenance I completed the first time. Herb Easley has quicker turn around and can be cheaper, but Lipcomb has better customer service, but may have your car longer or not find the issues. Since they service the police cars in town it does slow down the maintenance department. I come from a family of auto mechanics, and I feel like this situation could have been quicker, cheaper, less stressful if this business would have listened to my concerns and issue about the vehicle when I brought it in the first time. Hopefully this cold 82 is something simple because I have not one more pennies to give this dealership

We again returned on 7/13 during lunchtime and found the car had been burglarized, torn apart and many items were stolen. Or destroyed. There was no forced entry, so it wasn't locked while they had it or it was someone who had access to the keys. There really is no third option. They are completely at fault. The dealership has yet to answer my messages or call me and is stating it's not their responsibility. I highly advise shopping some where else as it's been 6 days and still no word from the dealership. At no point did anyone apologize at any juncture of this. I emailed their website and received no call back or reply. I messaged them on Facebook and received no call back and replied via messenger stating someone would reach out but never did. He is also very misogynistic. I asked him to install coil overs and see if he could fix a power steering issue by cleaning a sensor. I spoke to him and confirmed that he was comfortable doing this before dropping the car off. The coil over install was fine, but the way he treated me was uncalled for and way out of line. He is unautomated and expects payment in cash, but doesn't tell you that up front. He told me it would take a day to install the coil overs, but he wasn't done at the end of the day. He kept it overnight which is ok, but I had to call him to check on the status. Before I dropped it off, I asked him where he puts the car if it's held overnight and he told me if the car stays overnight, it's parked on the lift to secure it and keep the cats off it. The second day he was waiting for someone to help him diagnose a second issue but told me if the car stayed overnight, he would park it outside. (It's a high theft vehicle and convertible so the cats would destroy the top) I asked him to let me know if his guy was coming before he closed so I could pick it up and asked him what time he closed. He wouldn't tell me but said if it's after 5, he'd be gone. His hours are 10-6 on Google and he also told me to drop the car off at 11. You can't get a straight answer from this guy and I still don't know what his labor rate is. Even if it's posted at his shop, there is too much junk to see anything. His shop is filthy and unkept and dirtier than some junkyards I've been to. Instead of answering a question, he would "mansplain" everything, then finally went into a mental meltdown and started to yell at me and put me down. He looked up the labor for the job and told me he was sure it would be less and gave me a quote, then he complained about how difficult the job was saying "lady, I did a lot of work for you" going into a mental breakdown an screaming at me. I didn't even say I had a problem with the charges and was willing to pay him the original labor, and was going to give a large tip if he stuck to his original quote. He criticized me for researching online, forget what he told me previously and say that he told me something else raising his voice are insulting me like I was his ex wife or something. He griped that I had my own parts, even though he told me to get my own about 6 months earlier, called me a thief and just completely berated me for a good 20 minutes on the phone instead of giving me the total so I could pull the cash to pay him. I just can't recommend this guy. I don't know how he got the high reviews.

I received a car fax report with no significant issues, but not much else on the history of the car. Within 2 weeks of purchase the car was already in the shop... bad sensors, bad spark plugs, 4 qts low on the oil, and a cracked catalytic converter. Dropped $650 on repairs. One week later, the car was making odd noises AGAIN. Mechanic looked at it and said..." you're low on oil". Filled it up and went on our way. One week following that... the car really goes on the fritz and ends up back in the shop. This time the mechanic shows me that the cam shaft had busted into 2 pieces!!! Are you serious??!! That cam shaft had to be around 1 inch thick in diameter!! The mechanic even showed me indicators that the engine had salvaged parts added at some point. I was so livid that I could barely see straight. Now I know engines, and I know that in most cases, this kind of thing doesn't happen under normal driving. At this point the car is now in the salvage yard. I literally pissed $6500 down the toilet in less than 1 month. Worst part is... the dealer said to me "I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do for you". I honestly think that dealers should bear some responsibility when it comes to used vehicles. A thorough inspection should be done on each and every vehicle that rolls into the lot, but in this case I can tell that clearly didn't happen. Needless to say that I will not be purchasing from that dealer again, and I caution anyone who is contemplating a purchase from a mom and pop dealer.
