The temperature gauge is so close to the floor that it is impossible for me to change the water temperature settings. A commercial grade water heater cost significantly more than a residential one, at least $100.00 more a month. This commerial grade water heater should be replaced for a residential water heater unit similiar to the one they removed.

Higgins Sewer & Drain Cleaning was the ONLY company that was will to come in an look at the issue and fix the problem. The big guys either didn't want to mess with the problem or immediately pointed the finger at the wastewater company and said that I'd probably have to dig up my sewer line since my property was older. The technician came out and cleaned out 4 large bunches of tree roots and the water immediately started draining. They came back a couple of days later to camera my sewer stack and sewer line and delivered great news that I had no other issues. I was also extremely pleased with the reasonable price they charged for their services. I will definitely use this business again when needed and for preventive measures.

Negative 100 stars -- RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY…read more Nachbar Plumbing completely butchered the plumbing in my new construction home. They got roughly 60% of it wrong, including all of the underslab piping. We moved in April 2023. By July, it was obvious something was wrong -- the basement bathroom was constantly clogged and overflowing. I asked both the builder and Nachbar to investigate. Instead of helping, Richard Nachbar (the owner) treated me with disdain and complete disregard. He flat-out dismissed my concerns, refused to investigate, and said, "We did nothing wrong." At the time, I didn't know how to push back, so I had to let it go. Fast forward one year -- sewage overflow destroyed one-third of my finished basement. After months of costly investigation and a homeowner's insurance claim, it was proven beyond doubt that Nachbar installed roughly 60% of the underslab piping flat or with reverse slope -- meaning sewage could never actually leave the house. Even after being presented with undeniable proof -- and being allowed to investigate themselves -- Nachbar refused to take responsibility or fix the problem. I even have a video of Nachbar family members standing on my porch saying, "She knows what she's talking about, there is a problem, but we ain't paying." Now I'm paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to tear out my finished basement and re-plumb everything. And it's only getting worse -- we've found open drain lines dumping sewer gases into the basement, abandoned drain stacks hidden in walls, and mechanical vents sealed behind drywall (a clear building code violation). This company's work is not just incompetent -- it's dangerous, dishonest, and downright negligent. If you value your home, your health, and your sanity, stay far, far away from Nachbar Plumbing.

Updating this review to share that the sump pump installed by Bright Side last year failed at the…read moreworst moment during a torrential downpour while my husband was out of town (enter facepalm here). I was convinced it was broken and called Bright Side once I had the flooding under control in the basement. I can't understate how impressed I was with them from the phone call to the plumber showing up later that afternoon. First of all the person on the phone was so kind, told me I was still under warranty, and assured me that they'd have someone out that day to take a look and fix it. The plumber arrived on time, listed to my whole sad story about the basement and the pump, and figured out the issue within a few minutes. He fixed the pump, assured me it should last a long time with the fix, took a look at our other pump, talked me through what had happened, sent me some estimates on things we could do to improve our set up, and was out the door within a reasonable amount of time. The things I loved was how low pressure it all was and how friendly he was. Other plumbers would have upsold me and likely made me feel pressure to purchase something else. I really appreciated that they came out day of, stood by their warranty with no questions, fixed it, and was honest about the situation, giving us options but no hard sell. This is the kind of service that will keep us as customers. It's always hard to know if a company is good after one visit, but this being our second, and on a call when something bad had happened I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. This appears to be a very good locally run business, and they'll have us as customers for the foreseeable future.
