These guys are great. Extremely friendly and prompt service. Here's my story: I had a puddle of raw sewage in the front yard of my 1940s home. (The sewer line runs under my front porch and there is a hatch that pulls up so you can see under it where the sewage line is) When the first company I looked into came out to quote, they did not even bother to look under the hole cut out on top my front porch to see why it was leaking. They just told me they would have to take my entire porch off, tear out the entire line and most likely cut down the tree in my front yard. On top of all that, I I would have to pay someone else to put my porch back on. They quoted me more than $4000. I called Heartland to get a second opinion, they stuck a snake down in it, unclogged the line and ended up only costing $140. Haven't had a single problem since. John was the guy who came out. He was funny and patient will all my questions and concerns. He said something that I can really admire in a company. That they won't fix something that doesn't absolutely need to be fixed. Customers for Life My wife and I moved back to Kansas for our retirement 3 years ago. It was on a 3 day holiday weekend. Our water heater blew up, and we could not get ahold of our home warranty company. We were new to Gardener, and didn't know who to call. I saw Heartlands sign from the highway and had my wife call them on the following Tuesday. They came over immediately and temporarily fixed the problem. A couple days later,we had them install a new water heater. Over the last 3 years, we have had several plumbing issues. We live in an old house in Leawood Kansas, and through the years we have had many plumbing companies do work. We have a shower in one of our bathrooms that we could never get working. Many guessed what might be wrong, but could never fix the shower.So we gave up on it. Mike with Hearland Plumbing said he knew what the problem was. He gave a reasonable quote, gave an exact timeline when he would be done and he would do it without tearing up the entire shower. The shower is now working after all these years. Mike finished the job within the quoted timeline and without additional cost he cleaned up after his job and removed the old plumbing. We have used Heartland Plumbing 3 or 4 times over the past couple of years. They arrive when they say they will, they listen to the customer as part of the process to determine what needs to be done and then they fix the problem. The do a good job of having a broad selection of replacement parts on their trucks so they don't have to leave and come back. We have been pleased with the cost of their services....and perhaps the bonus is after they have fixed your problem they ask if there is anything else you want to them look at. My sink was hardcore clogged, maybe 97%. They had a cancellation so they had a tech out in less than two hours, who did his level best to get it unstuck without costing a ton, because yeah, we have a home warranty, but they couldn't get anyone out until the following Thursday.
