We had a seat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks from the lone bartender working that day. We also ordered a pretzel since we were starving. They'd run out of mustard, but at that point I didn't even care. The bartender proceeded to take couple more orders then brought our Old Fashioneds. They were very good, but he didn't ask if we wanted them neat or sweet and apparently they offer them both ways. Then he forgot about our pretzel order and took even more drink orders. I know because I watched him with growing hanger and just when I was going to say something he caught it and apologized. Eventually we got a warmed Milwaukee Pretzel Company treat to fill the empty space in me. I think this could be a great place to hang out with friends, with beer and a few non-beer options on order. They have the pretzels and Flour Child pizzas you can eat on site. You can also buy the pizzas to go. The service might need a little more attention, but this is a nice place to hang out.

The beers are so unique, diverse, and delicious, but our favorites are actually the desert wines. Salted caramel is our all time favorite! Beyond the great atmosphere and drinks, the service is top notch - their bartender is one of the nicest and best we've had the pleasure of encountering and he's always a high point of our evening there. It was in an entirely different location then, so this was my first visit to the new taproom. Such a comfortable and fun spot! They have so many different events, including an ASL Guided Brewery Tour (which is quite unique) and a monthly book club. I originally stopped by to drop off books for their used book sale, but I stayed for two beers. Very friendly staff and appear to be highly engaged with their community. There was a nice variety of styles on their beer menu. I tried a pilsner (I believe?) and an Oktoberfest (because it was the season). Both very tasty! I enjoy the atmosphere of this brewery and the type of community they seem to be building.

With wonderful weather, the front garage door was open and allowed us to move back and forth from the front patio section to the interior area to get beverages from the bar. The acoustics in the bar area were not great, making it hard to talk, so I was glad that we could utilize the outdoor area where it was much easier to talk. However the facility does do a good job of utilizing the space effectively, given its narrow footprint. I really only saw one staffer but she was very friendly and suggested the No Pain Painkiller, an oddly-named drink that had coconut and orange juice in it. The first one was very good, the second one...not as good. Not sure why but I definitely would not have gotten a second one if they were reversed!

I would describe it as having a complex flavor profile with something vanilla like. The 2 other beers I tried were ok, good, not great. I'm mostly sugar free on the weekdays, minus the sugar I use in cooking so the sodas were way too sweet for my very personal taste. I liked the maple root beer the best. Food: The pretzel is gigantic, so fun & great for sharing. Extremely delicious. Pillowly goodness with mustard dip & cheese dip, both yummy. Service: Great tour, great bartender & service.
