Yum... This is from a delivery order, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself, but the food was well-packaged and included plenty of napkins, utensils and wipes in the delivery bag. First off, the salad base was a great spring mix of leafy greens with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, grated cheese. Everything was fresh and crispy. Their balsamic vinaigrette was very good. Next, let's talk about these Zingers. A very generous portion of them came with the salad order. They were so juicy and flavorful. They were a meal in and of themselves. I could have just eaten them and been totally satisfied. I had added some chicken wings because, why not? I ordered them tossed in garlic sauce, and they were also flavorful, hearty and well prepared. I'd never thought about ordering from Miller's Ale House in the past because I always thought of it as just another chain restaurant, but this order has me rethinking my next lunch order... because I would definitely order from them again. read more

After the first few bites, she offered a suspicious frown and declared, "This just doesn't seem right." I shrugged it off. Ignorance, as they say, is bliss. I was preoccupied with my Osso Buco. It tasted fine, actually! Quite lovely, a rich, savory broth wrapping around the tender veal. It was, perhaps, the perfect Trojan Horse. The true nature of the meal revealed itself the second we stepped through our own front door. It wasn't indigestion; it was a full-scale gastronomic betrayal. My wife was the first to fall, clutching her abdomen as if she'd swallowed a volcanic eruption. Her "very bad stomach" quickly escalated into a Category 5 hurricane. However, the universe saved its true masterpiece of chaos for me. The Osso Buco wasn't just fine; it was a pressurized biological weapon, timed to detonate precisely at the point of maximum inconvenience. I experienced the physical manifestation of the phrase "explosive diarrhea." This was not merely going to the bathroom--this was a tactical, hurried retreat that involved sounds that should only be heard in wartime documentaries. I'm currently filing a Missing Person Report for my large intestine. I have reliable reports that my colon, having achieved escape velocity, was last seen heading south on I-95, passing the Ft. We went out for a family dinner and three of us opted for the Sunday night prime rib special. When we received our order, 2 of the cuts were unacceptable. A third of the portions were completely fat, just a dense block of fat. When asked for a different cut, we were told that they suddenly ran out and only had 2 end cuts left. We were also told that they could only be made medium and medium rare. When the new pieces were received, they were completely over done and like rubber. They were inedible. Only one plate, out of the three orders of prime rib, were edible. We notified the manager and one plate was removed from the bill. Two people in our party barely ate and were completely unsatisfied by the end of the meal. It was a horrible experience. Also, how do you run out of prime rib so early in the evening? That's a bit ridiculous and highly disappointing. On a positive note, the osso buco and one plate of prime rib was divine. It's a shame that the poor customer service overshadowed how delicious those meals were. I would not recommend this location at all. read more

First time here. Place is hopping! Beautiful interior, lots of tv screens for your sports viewing pleasure. Friendly employees and were served quickly despite the crowd. Hubby ordered a craft beer, moments later the manager came over and apologized that they didn't have that variety. No problem, hubby picked another variety that he enjoyed. Subsequently 2 more corporate employees in succession approached our table to apologize for the absent first beer variety, and comped his second choice and offered a restaurant gift card. Wow! My pickup order of shrimp and calamari last Friday was on point except for the technical issues with the order going through on their web site. On the other hand my order on this past Monday was horrible. The rib special was dry and and over cooked. It seemed as though it was maid hours before and heated up in the microwave. The calamari was not eatable at all. I had to throw it out. The baked potato was good and so were the o ion rings which seemed to have been made fresh. It was again a pickup order that because of technical issues again did not go through so they said they would make my order immediately. Considering I didn't eat the meal until I got home I was shocked at how bad it was. If I had been eating at the restaurant I would have sent it back and walked out. Serving reheated food or whatever this was is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. My order on Friday was picked up at around 6pm. The order on Monday was picked up at 10pm. Closing is at 11:40pm. Jus5 because it was later in the evening on Monday is no excuse to serve which I consider to be old dried out food. read more

When I get to go back home we would occasionally go to the Millers Ale house in Stonybrook Long Island, New York and I can honestly say was never a fan so when I moved here last year and saw the Miller Ale House was new I thought I would try it- first time I went I had a wonderful Burger cooked as rare as possible with soft egg and it was amazing! Next three times I have only had the pork osso bucco and it has always been great! My friends also here from New York had the osso bucco on my recommendation and they order it here and back in wantagh New York. Consistently good ( I always order extra gravy on side). They have also had the prime rib while in pt orange and it was delicious! I wish they had veal osso bucco but I will take what I can get especially when it's that good! read more

Great new addition to Port Orange. Always loved watching a game at Millers elsewhere. Tonight we went with family in town for the holidays and service was excellent from our greeting to the bartender while we waited for a table to Lanie who was our server. Burger, zingers, lobster ravioli were all delicious. Lanie made sure fiesta bowl was made to order with our certain dietary restrictions. Second time here and decided not to go back. First time very rude server, second time I tried to order and pick up from car, took over 30min sitting in my car so I called from my car (I am in a wheelchair couldn't get out so that's why I ordered for car pickup) and they transferred me to 2 different people. Then a server came outside to give me the food and I guess she decided to give an attitude about why I couldnt just go in and get it. I tried one last time (3rd time) and just ordered thru Uber and they gave uber driver attitude because they didn't have the ice cream that was ordered and they didn't want to substitute it with anything. The driver had my back and asked them again to substitute something and they refused. On the app with the Uber drive I mentioned to her that they aren't friendly and she 100% agreed. So that's 3 times, I'm done, and hope others see my post and decide to find another place to order food especially dinning in. I'd rather have mediocre food and nice service than good food and terrible service with an attitude. read more

I visited the Port Orange Miller's on October 10, 2024. This was th eday that Hurricane Milton hit the area. I was visiting family and after the Hurricane passed we decided to see if Millers was open. I called and spoke to a young lady who informed me that the restaurant would indeed open that day, at 4pm, and be open through its normal closing time( 1am according their webize.) We arrived around 620 and there was an hour's wait, according to Kim, the young lady at the Hostess station. WE decided to wait. after an hour, and seeing the waiting crowd dwindle I asked how much longer and was told we still had at least another Hour's wait. I happened to see 3 open seats at the bar and asked and was told we could sit there and order. Upon sitting and a 5 minute wait the bartender approached and said it is LAST CALL. We informed him we wanted to order food, and were told you cannot order food we are closing.. I explained we had just been told we could indeed sit at the bar and order and again he refused. A woman who appeared to be a manger came over and told us there was a cufew (At 9pm - 90 minutes later) and again refused to takeour order.. I AGAIN explained that we had been, just minutes earlier that we could eat at the bar. After some discussion between the different employees we were had a limited menu thrown at us. We quickly decided and then attempted to get someone's attention to order. We began to order from the single sheet of paper we were handed as a menu and told we could not order the items on it. For example I ordered a Caesar salad with Zingers and was told no You cant order that... even though it was on the menu. I was instead forced to order the 12.99 order of zingers and the 9,99 salad Instead of the 13.99 combo. My guests were also forced to do the same. I am fully cognizant of the fact that there had just been a mayor Hurricane and I applaud Millers for making every effort to open. But the lack of communication, the attitude exhibited (throwing a single sheet menu at us) and the forcing us to order much more expensive items was totally uncalled for and completely undermines the good feelings created by the efforts to open in face of the storm. I can assure you I will think long and hard before i patronized another Millers. read more

My husband's burger was pretty good, but my chicken wings (asked for crispy) were barely edible....skin was not cooked well and chicken inside was slimy. Ordered the 12 wing special. Asked for celery and only received two small sticks. Waitress stated that that was all you get with the order. I probably would have given a better tip if the attitude was better. At a different Miller's in Daytona, the wing order came with at least four sticks. A party of 4 of us dined in last night. Our entire experience was a wonderful one. Three of the 4 of us ordered a delicious burger. They were cooked perfectly as ordered. The fourth, a man from Canada, ordered the 6 ounce filet. He said it was the best meal he'd had since coming to Florida. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was fun. Let me start by saying the service and food are always excellent here. We try to go at least once a week. When this location first opened, they had problems keeping house wine in stock. They improved over time, but the last 2 times we have been there, that have once again been "out of house wine." Seems this pattern is back again. I can't understand how this is possible given the length of time they have been open. They should know the patterns of patrons by this point. The bartenders are very gracious and I hate the fact that they (along with servers waiting on tables) have to say "I'm sorry but..." time after time. First time to this new location. Party of 4. Surprised you cannot get 4 glasses of beer from a pitcher. Ordered the mountain melt madness appetizer with thai chili sauce. Chicken was covered in a spicy buffalo sauce instead. continue to eat, until someone else's hair was discovered in the mountain. as I drank my beer, it slid 1-2 inchs from my hand and completely shattered onto the table as if it was held high above tile floor. I have never seen anything shatter like this at table level. glass was everywhere.
