I went with the safe chicken tenders tossed in a wing sauce... it was more than enough food... very good portions for the price! I could've skipped the fries for a different side, but they weren't bad classic cut fries. The highlight of this meal was the appetizer... the Boom Boom Shrimp. As pictured below, these fried shrimp are smothered with a delicious sauce... I asked for the more of the sauce so that I could use it for my fries- addicting! Me and my family all agreed that the Boom Boom Shrimp was the best part of the meal, and we would come back just for that appetizer! Arrived at noon to boarded windows due to a break-in last night. No fault of the business and they cleaned up well. We were sat quickly and the waitress came by a few minutes later. Establishment was clean or orderly, minus the boarded up windows. Staff friendly as well. Food ordered. The menu has changed since we came last and my wife's favorite was no longer available. I had the fish and chips and wife ordered their cheese steak sandwich. The fish and chips were good. Fries could have been fresher (-.5). Wife's cheese steak was good but wished it had peppers (-.5). Miller's Ale House - A Disappointing Visit with a Side of Frustration I recently visited Miller's Ale House in Kennesaw hoping for a casual, enjoyable meal--but what I got instead was a masterclass in poor service and underwhelming food. To start, the restaurant was nearly empty, so I expected relatively quick seating and service. Instead, the hostess seemed unsure of what to do, awkwardly asking if I wanted to sit at the bar. I declined and asked for a booth, only to be seated in the bar area anyway. I waited nearly twenty minutes without a server stopping by. Eventually, I had to go find someone to ask who was assigned to my table. That's when Michaela--my server--finally showed up. She didn't offer much in the way of engagement or hospitality, but I placed my order anyway: the so-called "infamous Zingers," which turned out to be just average chicken fingers. They were drenched in a sauce that made them soggy and didn't do much for the flavor. The texture was off--mushy and unappetizing. There were no napkins on the table and the ketchup bottle was completely empty. I looked around for Michaela but she was nowhere to be found. The whole setup felt neglected and indifferent. One thing Michaela did do quickly was bring the check and collect payment. I guess that counts for something--if only the rest of the service had been that efficient. What really stood out, though, was the stark difference in service I witnessed. About thirty minutes into my visit, a Caucasian man was seated nearby. His server took his drink and food order almost immediately--before he'd even had time to settle in. I don't want to make assumptions, but the contrast was glaring. It's hard not to notice these things, especially in a place like Kennesaw where, let's be honest, that kind of dynamic isn't unfamiliar. Sigh. Kennesaw could benefit from more restaurant options, but more importantly, it needs better ones. If Miller's Ale House wants to survive, they'll have to start treating every guest like they matter. This was my first visit to the Kennesaw restaurant. This location looks a little newer and nicer than the one in Alpharetta, where I have dined frequently. I met a friend here for dinner, and we had an overall good experience. Our server Brayden was welcoming and attentive. He took the time to describe the specials as well as a number of the menu items. My friend had never been to the restaurant before, so Brayden gave good recommendations. My friend ordered the roasted chicken quesadilla. He asked for fresh jalapeños, and Brayden brought a large, fresh one and roasted it right at the table. My friend said everything tasted flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the full rack of ribs special with a loaded baked potato and side salad. I asked for an extra side of BBQ sauce because the ribs tasted very dry and a little too tough. I probably would not order the ribs again. Brayden's service was definitely the highlight of our experience. The floor beneath my feet was wet and sick. A sign was put out "wet floor" wow, just clean it hahaha. Todd was a good server but the manager needs a course in leadership. Miller's ale came through for me after another restaurant canceled my reservation. I recently celebrated my son's high school graduation and Miller's ale came through! We had a party of nearly 30 and KEVON was the best server. He single handedly managed our entire party with no issues. The food was well prepared, especially the shrimp pasta bake. The Fried Shrimp came with 35 pieces and fries on the side. It was such a big platter, I had to take home leftovers. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and fried. The fries were also delicious. We had a long day traveling and were looking for a place near our hotel to get a quick meal - this place had good reviews so we thought we'd try it! It was crowded when we arrived (Friday night!) but hostess was able to get us seated in the bar area. Our waitress was excellent and took good care of us. It is a sports bar, lots of TVs going with multiple sports events. I ordered a glass of Cabernet. I ordered a cheeseburger and it came cooked as requested (and without as requested!) Fries were really good! Hubs ordered an 8-oz filet mignon. The manager-in-training came a few minutes later to let him know they were out of the filet and offered a 10-ounce sirloin instead - hubs was fine with that. He then came back a few minutes later to say that was also not available so hubs ended up with a 6-oz sirloin. The gentleman was very gracious and apologetic but it would have been good not to offer an item as a substitute when it was also not available (supply chain issues?). It's rare for me to give a one star review, but the experience was bad enough that I will not return. We sat at the bar and ordered tap drinks and an order of cheese fries. The fries were boring, unseasoned fries, with a few sprinkles of cheddar...half of which was melted. I considered sending them back but that would have required someone to swing by. There was nothing 'fully loaded' on these fries and it is one of the easiest things to make in a kitchen. For $10, at least get the basics correct and have the staff know what to not take out of the kitchen, much less to check on the diners. read more

That was probably our fault. They tend to serve them tossed in different sauces, but we ordered them plain. The chicken was very tender and juicy, but had zero flavor. Almost like it had zero salt, and tasted like plain boiled chicken. Next time I will definitely get the chicken tossed in a sauce to add flavor. It seems to be a necessity. Pricing is pretty fair, food's OK - bottom line is it'll almost never be a destination place to eat, but if I'm real hungry and I spot a Miller's, I'm in because I trust them.
