Passing through town again and we were hungry. As usual the restaurant was clean and bright; music was a tad too loud tonight but they did turn it down. Staff was friendly as well. We had a group of us and everything was very good. We started with the fried green beans and queso dip plate. Both very good. The Tennessee whiskey burger was great and cooked perfectly. Very quickly a very pleasant and professional server came to us named Mindy and took our drink and appetizer order. My buddy got the red pepper Gouda bisque and he really enjoyed that. For an entree I ordered the Lola's Meatloaf. it came with mashed potatoes and choice of side and garlic toast. Bring your appetite for this one, the meatloaf is massive and delicious. When you first see the meatloaf you think it's huge ribs, but when you bite it there's an immediate tender and juicy flavor of beef and whatever sauce they cook it in. Really good stuff. My buddy has the fish and chips and enjoyed that. This is a nice place and it's always a pleasure coming in. This time service was much better thanks to Mindy. Location is good, inside is clean with plenty of TV's with different sports programs, menu is plentiful and varied, ample parking, prices are reasonable for the quality of the menu items and preparation. On Sunday 6.14.26 at 5:00, I ordered a salmon salad. They were out of salmon but didn't tell me. However, they tried to disguise it with chicken. It was disgusting and pretty shady if you ask me. DO NOT EAT HERE! My sister took her kids here last weekend and the 7 year old had chicken wings. He developed intractable vomiting and diarrhea and ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with Salmonella poisoning. My sister called the restaurant to notify them so they could prevent others from getting sick, but they wouldn't let her speak to the manager and said they would call her back. Well, NO ONE has had the humanity to even call and see how he is doing. So I'll tell you how's he's doing...HES HOSPITALIZED with severe dehydration to the point he couldn't even walk!!! The service was okay only seen her when it was time to order and waited over 15 minutes for her to ask if we wanted the check (she had my table of 2 counting me and 1 other table) while waiting, I went to the bathroom where a homeless woman with her things all over the counter to wash your hands was best I can describe a spell or some shit..she smiled at me and I went into a stall but hearing her mumbling was scary so I just left the bathroom without using it bc I could literally see her through the door. I told a random waitress "there's a homeless person being weird in the bathroom" she looked at me weird and I just went back to my table. Finally MY waitress came to the table so o told her (I can see the bathroom from my table) she said "Ohh I'll tell my manager" she took our cards to pay then told me "I thinks she's outta there" ....i watched that door like I was getting paid. Literally NO ONE came out of that bathroom. They did send a very young looking women in There to clean but as someone paying to eat/be there. I have been to sidelines several times with some friends of mine and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. This time I decided to invite my Son as he had never been to our local Sidelines. The food was amazing and our waitress was on que. with drinks, food and just all around a good waitress with lots of smiles to go with it. Once she found out this was my Son's first time visiting this local sidelines she was nice enough to bring the manager to our table where the manager was so kind and she gave my Son a $15 dollar card to use the next time he decided to bring his significant other or whomever he wanted to spend it with. This was my first time to really speak to management but can assure you that this is my new go to restaurant to grab a meal. The wings are fantastic and I got the quesadilla burger that was large enough that I only ate 1/2 and brought the other 1/2 to my wife for a quick meal. She even bragged how good it was. I will definitely be making more stops here when Im needing a nice relaxing meal. Oh did I say anything about the selection of beer on tap and all of the T V's on the wall for your favorite sporting events while you have a fantastic surroundings and beautiful waitresses. keep up the good work. Return engagement: I came in again today to watch the Buckeyes game and to try the food and service again. The service was on point once again! Hayden went above and beyond the call. The food this time didn't quite hit the mark. The Jasmine rice seemed a bit mushy in the Texas Mexican bowl but when I brought it to Hayden's attention, he quickly brought me a menu and took my order for a replacement meal. No muss, no fuss! AWFUL service! Went in there and adhere for the US open to be put on. That many TVs you think it already beyond. The bartender put the women's golf game on. We told her that was not correct. She said."that's what is on outside" and walked away. We waited for her to take our drink order. I have a food allergy (soybean oil) and the manager, James, was very attentive and made sure my food was prepared without the allergen. Devonte cooked my meal and it was delicious. Well for starters our waitress Ledell was very nice! I was really excited about sidelines coming to my home city. I CANT make this up. So, we ordered a sampler and wings. The restaurant actually ran out of cheese curds. So, our waitress gave us the option to add extra wings. Well, when she returned she stated"my manager Kenny won't allow that change@. At that time she said let me go back to get clarification on when options are available for substitution . Long story short Kenny told her what was available. Now The sampler came out without the sauce on the wings and the chicken strips were not cooked completely . And the pretzels did not have any salt on them. The 10 wings we ordered have tater tots and other crumbs mixed in with the wings. Rachel came out and apologized. Next Brian came out asking if we are im enjoying our food well I told him the truth and showed him the food. He says this happens when there is a change between lunch and dinner. In my mind in thinking. It's 6pm. Lunch was a while ago. Then Brian says oh no that's not supposed to happen I'll take something off($5)your bill. He never offered to have it remade. Well we wanted to ordered something else but were skeptical on how they would prepare it. The service sucked!!! Not sure how we order drinks (2 cokes and a sprite) and my fiancé orders a beer ... the appetizer and beer come before we ever got our cokes. We were there at 930pm and there were maybe 40 people in the place (mostly in bar) and it took us exactly 30mins to get our food. The fish and chips were under cooked and our server would disappear for 20-30 mins at a time. I also never got a refill!! Won't be going back there again. I've been twice and was shocked when I saw three one star reviews. This is a great sports bar and I was so excited when it landed in Cartersville. Service was amazing. We had our food with 15-20 minutes of sitting. Atmosphere watching the games is awesome. Food was delicious. Sampler platter definitely gave me a little bite of everything. Just passing through staying at the courtyard for the night after a long drive. We asked where a good place to eat was where it wasn't too fancy but could get some good food.
