Saw people sitting on tables & had drinks on the sides of them as well. Seems like a pretty cool joint otherwise. They did have a live band setting up if that's your thing. This is the coolest bar I've ever been too, beer is cheap so that's always good, the service is amazing, and I got a plain burger that tops most others i've had. I did not know when coming to georgia that you can smoke cigarettes inside so that was a huge plus, nicotine vending machine was sick. Prompt service, cold beer, lots of TVs for catching big games. Food was fairly good, at least a cut above typical bar food.

My favorite local bar is now under new ownership and the vibe is great. Drinks are priced at a very reasonable price. Music is amazing they are hip hop nights Thursday through Saturday. They also offer karaoke and have pool tables, darts, and poker. They also serve hookah which is also at a great price point. The bartenders are super attentive and it's always a fun vibe. read more

The hip hop music is Terrible. LOUD obnoxious music you can't even talk to people and have conversations which is what a bar is for. The lighting is trashy strip club vibe. cigarette smoke reeks up the whole place. Every breath you take in there smells like nasty cigarette smoke. read more

We are not smokers and this is a smokers bar. Took four minutes for the server to notice us. Way too long for how empty the place was. Food was okay, not great. My country fried steak was way overcooked and stiff. When I mentioned it to the server, she casually dropped the F-bomb telling us the cook was new and did that a lot. Since a change in ownership, everything about this place has gone off a Cliff. It used to be on an NFL Sunday- standing room only. Today there weren't even a dozen customers at the bar. Food quality is awful when it used to be my favorite go-to for bar food. I had French fries and chili. The fries were skinny and the longest was only an inch and a half long. The chili was made with baked beans that tasted like the chef spilled the sugar in them. I used to work in the area and ate here every day. This was likely my last visit. read more

I visited Sidelines last night (Saturday) and it was my first visit since it reopened. I was really impressed, the place looked and felt more open, and inviting, there is a number of big screens TVs and a couple of large projections. I was equally impressed with the poker tables and took the opportunity to play a little poker. For those of you who like poker, this is a must for you, there is a dedicated server just for the players. Also impressive were their drink prices, you will find them among the best in the area. Tried the wings and they were great! Staff and owner very nice. Great place to hang out. They go out of their way to offer great hospitality. I recently moved from Florida where hospitality in the service industry was always instilled into all workers. The state depends on it's tourism as does the hospitality industry. Went back here just this past Saturday. Met the owner when we first came in. He was very friendly explaining this was one of the few places left where one could smoke if they wanted. The server was most of the reason for the low score. Very apathetic. Clear she didn't not want to be there and wasn't trying to hide that fact. She delivered drinks holding them at the top where your lips might go. Someone in our party asked for extra sauce and she delivered them by tossing them on the table. She wasn't really rude but just not friendly even though we were trying to be. I ordered a veggie burger and it was in 2 tortillas instead of a bun which was fine with me. Was overcooked. Got cole slaw and pasta salad with it. Cole slaw was unique and pretty tasty. Pasta "salad" was just rotini with an Italian type dressing on it and very small serving. Went in last night for a few drinks and I gotta say that the girl behind the bar Ashlee killed it. 10/10 would return again.

Came here one day to watch a Braves game and that particular day they was playing poker for bar cash. They let me in the game everyone was cool, this a place where the regulars come so I didn't know what to expect, but I must say I had a blast great drink specials and the people was very helpful. I didn't win the but I had a blast with people like Gabby and John. Definitely a place I will come back to read more

I'm just not real sure about this place.. we got there when it opened... met the owner, who was super nice guy... waitress comes over an takes order. There's 4 of us... brings our drinks back to table one at a time.. lol for the record, she got my drink wrong.. brought our food to table the same way... 1 at a time.. lol I'm just guessing that she is normally a bar/drink waitress.. she was nice enough but not friendly at all..lol food is pretty good but a bit overpriced.. Great service tonight by a cute female blonde server - wish I would have written down her name she served us plenty of drinks and some food and was also trying to locate trivia machines. She was awesome! I loved the music and the band and the fact that good old fashioned quarter arcade tables are available to play. My only complaint would be that it said non-smoking online and people were smoking inside - I hope that is able to be remedied! Great place affordable drinks and food and fun atmosphere!!! read more

No, no, no, no, no. Came here with some friends on a Thursday night for trivia. I should have known what kind of night this was going to be when I walked in and was not greeted by anyone. I was, however, welcomed by the overpowering aroma of cigarette smoke. After wandering around for a couple of minutes to see that no one else in my party had arrived yet, I made my way back to the front. Oh, one thing. There is weird horse thing near the front door. Is he the host? Where the f*%# am I?!? Someone eventually asked if I needed anything, but didn't seem overly concerned with my hanging out awkwardly at the entrance. I made the executive decision to seat myself at one of the available booths until everyone else arrived. Note - the Team Trivia website says that trivia here starts at 8:30. The Sidelines website says it starts at 8:45. Be prepared for it to actually start closer to 9. Once everyone else arrived, we ordered a few drinks and a couple of us ordered food as well. As I hadn't had dinner yet, I went with the chicken quesadilla. Pretty easy, right? Apparently not. Chewy, greasy, and generally unpleasant. How do you mess up a quesadilla that badly? The lack of consistent service didn't make the situation any better. The waitress always seemed to be hovering around when no one needed anything, but as soon as I needed a refill or my check, she was nowhere to be found. No joke, I think she disappeared for about 20 minutes between dropping off our checks and coming back to pick them up. The one good thing I can recall - $5 for a 32 oz. Sweetwater Festive Ale. But back to reality. Guys - this place is bad. Even for Kennesaw. And that's saying something. read more

This is your standard run of the mill sports bar. Apparently, on Friday nights, they have a live band. If you want to actually converse with anyone in your group then avoid this place on Friday nights unless you are willing and able to sit outside. Last night (6/25) we were here and the band was loud and to make matters worse they werent all that good. I ended up going outside after my ears couldnt take the caterwauling any longer. I had ordered food and after going back inside to check after 45 minutes it still hadnt arrived so I spent the rest of the night standing outside talking to people in my group who also came outside for the respite from the god awful racket going on inside. When 3/5's of your party comes outside due to the loud music, you know that its way too loud. When its off key, cruddy music amplified to 11, its *definitely* too loud. I would prefer Summits or something other than this place but it seems to be a favorite of a few of the group. Not really sure why though. read more

Walked into a wall of smoke. How on earth can anyone be okay with that? I was thrilled to come here and get wings and I came with my girlfriend and two young kids and this is definitely not a place to bring kids... smfh. This is my favorite place in Kennesaw. Their drinks are well priced and their burgers are great. I'm used to the Athens style frat bars filled with pop music and dramatically drunk college kids, and thought I just hated bars. Boy was I wrong! Turns out my favorite kind of bar is the type filled with smoke with stupid mid-2000s rock (think Staind). The smoke smell is THICK, but not so bad that it ever triggered my asthma. I definitely had to shower every time I got home from Sidelines, though. The servers were always quick and the bartenders were great, too. I learned to play poker at their poker nights, and the people were generally really nice to a young female with no experience. Some days seemed to have friendlier individuals- I would go Thursdays instead of Sundays). Team trivia is the worst kind of trivia but I still enjoyed it, I guess. Like I said, this is my favorite bar/sports bar in town and I would regularly drive 20-30 minutes to come here and play poker. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This is by far the worst restaurant I have been to due to the service the servers give the customers. I am a server myself and know to the extent of how terrible the women are here. We sat at a table for 8 mins before anyone came to greet us, when she came to the table "has anyone helped you, no okay so what would would like to drink"....greeting a table means saying your name and welcoming me. I visited there last night. If you are of color you may NOT want to go here. I ordered drinks and an appetizer. The waitress was nice but the appetizer took over 40 minutes. What crazy is that everyone that came in AFTER us got their appetizers and their dinners. After being there for over one hour and hungry....
