Friday night indicates "no all flats". While the food is decent bar options they should communicate what is and isn't inside each dish. Beet salad was very unsatisfactory as the beets were somewhere between dehydrated and expired. The menu reads golden beets AND purple which is why we selected that salad but management said no golden in-house; disappointing as was the burrata quality - no creaminess just rubber. They seemed to have added chicken to our queso in order to compensate for the small steak portion inside. Communication is not only valued but necessary when adding and omitting ingredients; the staff here doesn't seem to care about that (including management). The T-bone steak was not the best quality as it's marketed as well-marbled but in reality it arrived with lots of chewy fat bits throughout. Not only do they have the bar food things you think of, but they have some of their own twists on favorites as well! To be fully transparent, I am the type of person to say "it's just good bar food" about most places, BUT the quality of this food is just different. Everything they do at Hudson Grille feels intentional and fun. Me and my family have been coming here every month for the past 10 years. One of my favorite things is how consistent I can expect their food to be. Here's a couple of my favorite foods: The chicken tenders are huge, crispy, and saucy (when you toss them in your favorite wing sauce). A wing sauce that I would recommend is the "Lemon-Yaki". It's a sweet and tangy teriyaki sauce wing with lemon pepper seasoning. I wish every other wing place had this combination! If you want something a little more spicy, but also packed with flavor, the "Sriracha Bourbon" sauce is a perfect balance. Another big unique stand-out item that I can't seem to stay away from is the sweet potato waffle fries with marshmallow dipping sauce... YUM! They are so addicting. Sports bar vibe. Lots of tvs. Side room has a huge screen, pool, basketball game, claw machine. Steelers meet up on gameday Sundays. They also have tables out feont on the patio. Food came out quick. Everything was delicious. I was disappointed the egg on the burger was fully fried well and not over easy. Tots were tasty. My friend got the mac and cheese and that was just meh, but she loves the garlic spinach as a side. When you walk in the door, it looks like a typical sports bar. Ample booths, generous selections on the beer tap, and tvs to watch your favorite game. We were quickly sat at a booth. The menu is massive so make sure that you bring your reading glasses and you give yourself time to peruse. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak which was prepped and topped like a traditional northeastern one... except it was chicken. It was really good but not what he expected. The fries were piping hot and plentiful. My chicken and waffles were tasty with two Liege-inspired waffles and 3 hefty chicken tenders. Though heavily breaded, they were cooked just right. I placed a delivery order thru Uber Eats. The Georgia Peach Grilled Chicken Sandwich was very tasty and had a good spicey kick to it. I just wish the piece of grilled chicken was a little larger. The Ginger Cole Slaw was very good as well. I got the Chocolate Mousse Cake for dessert. It was great, but the portion should have been a lot bigger. Overall, it was a very good culinary experience. We came here for dinner tonight and had another great experience. Richard was our server; he's helped us a few times before and is always attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. I ordered the sweet and spicy salmon bowl, and it was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked with just the right balance of sweet and spicy flavors, and the avocado was spot on and was creamy and fresh. We also shared the buffalo nachos, which were loaded and super tasty. The place was pretty busy for a Thursday night. Found out Thursdays are $5 off big plates! I didn't realize the salmon bowl qualified, so getting $5 off the $16 price was a nice surprise. This Hudson location is always a solid choice. The food is consistently good, the service is excellent, and the vibe is welcoming. I just found out they do trivia on Wednesdays, so we'll definitely be back to check that out. read more

There are few places right now where I feel like you get your money's worth, but Hudson Grill was a pleasant surprise. I also didn't expect such tasty food at a sports bar/restaurant. Upon entering you are greeted with an open and clean atmosphere (with tv surround viewing). Our server was very friendly and attentive making our experience smooth and pleasant. We started with sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce let's just say the plate was empty when we were done. I ordered the grilled chicken with bbq sauce, bacon and cheese. I got a side salad (fresh and crisp) and broccoli (steamed and seasoned perfectly). My husband got the half rack of ribs with Cajun rice. We both loved our meals and both took home enough for another meal! So, for $50 we got a large appetizer, meals with large leftover portions, and tea. That's a deal! Plus it was really good! This was a to go order via UberEats. I loved that my food was sealed in this to go bag, which kept my food warm. I think all restaurants should use these for food delivery orders. Little things make me happy. My driver was sweet. The chicken salad has a decent amount of chicken. The balsamic dressing was really good. The salad was decent. The wings were buy 1 6 piece get one free. They were night and day. I am not sure how that happened. One set was barely seasoned and could have been fried harder. The 2nd set was fried perfectly but extremely salty. There was way too much salt. Lemon pepper wings can be well seasoned and not too salty. I have blood pressure issues. I felt like I was in cartoon, and my BP shot through the roof. Needless to say, only one set was edible for me. I usually have a good experience with Hudson Grill. I frequented the location that was offn285 by Northlake Mall, which I think is closed and the one downtown by State Farm Arena. I would try again, but dine in so order could be fixed. read more

I am saddened to give this just a 3 star review. I used to come here when it was Baileys and was one of my favorite spots. Since the change several years back, I've been here several times. I come with my team because of the games and even that has been reduced to a mere few weird things - we played pool, we played basketball, we played the antiquated video game that allowed 4 players at once...it was a series of different games, like obstacle courses, it's kind of fun, but odd. Miss the other games and table shuffleboard they had - seems they actually still have space for it, so I'm not even sure why it's gone. The service was fantastic the last time I came in - I'm giving all my 3 stars to our server - wish I remembered his name so I could give him a shout-out... but the food was lacking. I know things change. But, I miss the old Baileys. I miss the fun games and great food they had. No wonder it's pretty empty these days. So far everything we've had has been delicious! But everything on the menu looks so tempting. Tonight we had the Maker's Mark burger and GA Peach Chicken Sandwich. Also had the Teriyaki Bowl, Hawaiian Chicken Bowl, and Bourbon Apple Salad and Cucumber Salad. All excellent choices. The atmosphere is nice and clean, the place is big so I don't think it would feel crowded even on a busy night. The service level has matched the food every time as well. Stopped in at Hudson Grill Kennesaw on Friday night. Tried the Friday T-Bone special. I added the peach slaw and the garlic spinach. The special was $20. First, the steak...if you're hoping for a decent quality of beef, don't order the T-Bone special. The quality was that of some of the meat specials that you can order on TV where you can get 20 lbs of steak and hamburgers for $99. The steak was tough and it looked and tasted like it was cooked in a microwave and maybe placed on a stove top to finish it off. The peach slaw...not sure what it tasted like, but there was no hint of peach. Actually tasted a day or so old, if you know what I mean. The spinach...was decent...very oily though. Bottom line, it was a bad choice on my part which didn't bode well with my digestive tract. My wife ordered the root salad. It is WAY overpriced for what you get, $15.95. I need way more of whatever sauce they used for each bite. The sausage was a tad spicy. The peppers could have been cooked a little longer. A bit on the raw side. 2 stars are for the shrimp. I am going to start this off by saying our server and overall service was lovely, friendly, and efficient. I am currently with my spouse in the Kennestone Emergency Room with FOOD POISONING. My spouse ordered a MEDIUM CHEESEBURGER. It came out rare, which was our fault for not taking it back and requesting it to be cooked more, but we typically order medium rare meat (and we were super hungry). I am so disappointed in how they sent out this entree and I urge all staff and customers to be aware of food here and make sure that your temperature preference be cooked to a healthy standard. read more

There are very few restaurants open on Thanksgiving, so I was glad to find Hudson Grille open and offering a thanksgiving dinner option (ham or turkey). The processed ham that would only be suitable for a ham sandwich in a child's lunchbox was front and center on this plate. The stuffing/dressing on the plate was abysmal. I tasted it and the flavor was that of stovetop stuffing with way too much water added. Bland flavor is an understatement. I requested to order something different to replace the meal and was told that the manager wouldn't budge and I would have to pay for the ham dinner as well as the replacement meal for my son. I challenged the manager and the cook to taste what was on the plate and apparently they didn't take me up on the offer. I'm sure they knew this meal wasn't suitable for consumption especially for a holiday dinner. Going forward if you don't want to serve Thanksgiving dinner from the heart, just serve your regular menu and call it a day. The fact that the manager wouldn't replace the meal showed me that customer service is not a priority. Still payed for the processed ham dinner and tipped my server 20%, but did not order dessert as we intended. Also, will never go back to this Hudson Grilled again. read more

My husband and I were very disappointed! We ordered our drinks first, a beer and a Bloody Mary. The waiter didn't know if they had miller on draft or not. He had to ask. We wanted to sip our drinks before our food arrived but our food came out before our drinks! My Bloody Mary was not very good and I didn't have time to finish it. My husband's beer was not cold. And the food was not near as fancy and the menu appeared. It was a peach chicken sandwich under held hands. It had a very small piece of chicken on a very large piece of bread. We will not be back. First time at the Hudson grille. The chicken empanadas on the starter list were something I've never had before but definitely would again. I also had the fish and chips. I like fish and chips and let me tell you that these were done right! The batter was crisp but not burnt. The fish was flaky and tasteful. Can't do any better. Our server was on point and the manager came and checked on us at the right time. It was quiet but might have been the time. We were late for dinner. So not pound at all a very pleasant environment. Ordered the herb chicken, garlic spinach and soup of the day for a late night delivery. The food was plentiful, the chicken breast were a nice portion. The cucumber salad was also good. We weren't a fan of the collards, felt they could use some seasoning and the same for the jambalaya rice. It seemed to be just white rice with some tomato's mixed in, there was no real season. It was packed when I got there around 1AM. I believe people were there to watch the fight on TV. There's several of tvs around the restaurant. I ordered a taco trio (shrimp, pulled chicken, and fried chicken). Don't worry, there's more options to choose from. I loved the ones I picked. I also ordered cauliflower wings. OMG. I've ordered the ultimate nachos several times and they are good and inexpensive. For delivery they package the chips separately which prevents them from getting soggy, much appreciated. I've ordered fish & chips a couple times and often order this from other restaurants. It comes with scrawny pieces of fish with little flavor and very thick breading, very little fish. There's another restaurant I order this from and you actually get fried filets where it's mostly fish, not so much breading. We visited Hudson Grill a few weeks ago to watch the game and of course eat some wings! For a Saturday night the restaurant was really empty (covid-friendly), but we still received great service! Regarding COVID, they have great protocols in place (temperature checks, doors opened, tables are spread apart, etc.) so this made us feel really comfortable. For our food order, we had the usual wings in which I tried a new flavor that was pretty good (tequila flavored wings) and we had fries/tots as a side. Hudson Grille is always a good staple to visit when you want a good meal especially wings to watch the game. This is a new place for us! Good food! We had tacos, nachos, sliders, a turkey panini, homemade potato chips and a few other things. The fried avocado taco was a bit odd. It may be the most awesome thing ever for someone but my friend didn't love it. We did not try the Korean BBQ taco but the others were lovely! The nachos are huge!! They are good nachos but are definitely meant to be shared! I had the burger sliders (with cheese) and they are good. the sautéed onions were sweet and gave a lot of flavor. I did not use any condiments. The pickles that came of the side with the sliders were crisp and delicious!!! I felt that the sliders were well done when I asked for medium but the place was slammed so I think the kitchen was just trying to get all the food out and slipped up. I did not taste the pulled pork sliders but they looked and smelled great! My friend had the turkey panini and seemed to really enjoy it! some of us shared the homemade chips with the blue cheese dip. Wow! Great blue cheese dip!!! Concerns. The drinks are seriously weak. Not just the $5 drinks. You kind of expect those to be weak. A couple of the ladies tried the long island iced tea with peach puree. I liked it but they did not. We all felt it was not very strong. One questioned if there was alcohol in it. My vodka tonic was the same. Next time I'll have to order a couple shots of vodka and a glass of tonic and play bartender myself.. Its just frustrating. A couple of the girls stuck with beer and they were happy. They have a nice selection. It took well over an hour for our food to come out. I spoke with the manager and it seems that they were short that night in the kitchen. They were also slammed since they had a lot of people come out for trivia that night (Trivia on Wednesday nights) She seemed very concerned and I got the idea that this was not a usual occurrence.
