I am so excited to see there is a millers Ale house in Pensacola. Millers have tvs around the place so you can watch sports, news whatever they have on. There is a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Service is usually fast. The zingers are very good. I did however have French onion soup that was way too salty the last time I went in. The server did tell me it depends on who makes it. I always loved it there. We will go back for sure I love the food there! read more

Very helpful. 20% tip Ambiance - it's a sports bar so sporting events on multiple TVs around the restaurant. Still, it was clean and neat. Food - I had the prime rib French dip. I rather doubt, that was prime rib. Still it was good. The horseradish sauce was very bland, but the gravy for dipping was great. The loaded cheese fries were ok. We did a to go order as my 87 year old Mother in law didn't feel like going out. After the order was placed, I called to ask for our fries to be crispy and a side of ranch. I was assured "No problem". Upon my arrival I checked in and sat down. When the food came out I asked to make sure we had extra napkins & condiments. I was assured "Yes" it's all in the bag. I arrived home in less than 5 minutes only to find cold and soggy fries in 3/4 meals. Our 2 cheeseburgers were only a warm as if they had been sitting out. The chicken in the salad was rubbery and lacked taste. Why was this so difficult? A waste of good money for substandard food. Very disappointed. Then I called and spoke with a new manager, Alec. We ordered for dinner, the following. Atlantic salmon (blackened) my husband chose the cilantro lime rice and a vegetable medley as the sides. The salmon was cooked perfectly and it was a nice sized portion. $20.49 Blacked shrimp & chicken cobb salad, no bleu cheese crumbles, no shrimp, all chicken with ranch dressing. The salad did come with bleu cheese which I can't eat. I called and spoke with the manager and he fixed the situation to my satisfaction. Even though part of our order was messed up, I still gave 5 stars for the following reasons. We've eaten here before and the food is always tasty. We love the ribs here. My husband enjoyed his meal. Good portions. The staff are always friendly. The manager was nice, and handled my problem promptly, he didn't make excuses, he apologized and fixed the problem. Because of a medical condition in my family, we needed to be sat away from other people. It was a very busy Saturday night, and Doug set us up a table off to the side away from everybody. So wings are a great lunch for me and Millers is the only place I will go and have them. Wednesday is their wing special day. I get a dozen with Korean BBQ and Sweet Thai Chili mixed . The staff is great. The outside bar is the best place to grab lunch as the bar chairs are the most comfortable. The inside bar stools suck! We wanted for nothing. The food was also pretty good. Finally visited the Pensacola location of Miller's Ale House on a rainy Saturday afternoon to watch college football. Despite the weather we chose to sit out in the back patio which had the perfect atmosphere to watch all the games. Mario was our server and took great care of us as we munched on French Dip sandwich and a Zingers Mountain Melt which is essentially cheese fries heaped with an order of Zingers! We came here to watch the TN baseball game one evening, our sever was very sweet. We had a late lunch so my husband and I split an order of zingers with mild sauce and a large order of onion rings. The zingers were delicious as usual, this was our first time ordering the onion rings. They were huge and came with a ton. The sauce that was served with it was phenomenal! My friend ordered the nachos which were also very good! The MOD on Saturday was rude, argumentative, standoffish, and down right nasty. My husband ordered a Philly with no onion add green peppers. ($1.99 add-on for peppers). When the sandwich came, (Delivered by the MOD) it looked like it had been sitting in the window for a while, (Cheese gelatinous) and there were only 3 small chunks of peppers. The bread was not grilled and when we asked to speak to the manager he told us the peppers are chopped up with the meat. We have been wanting to try this place for a while, the opportunity presented itself and we were not disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere were all the perfect blend of awesome and chill. My Queen ordered the Brunch Burger and I ordered Big Red (5 pepper fire sauce, it creeps but not too hot for a chilli head). My Queen is currently on a Lioness diet (only Protein) so I consumed her bun and fries for her, it's ok she has doctors supervision and I am a big boy foodie. We will be back and we play bringing the grandkids with us next visit. For being an "Ale House", as mentioned above, the perfect blend of aesthetic in our opinion, lots of wood ceiling walls etc., with indirect lighting. Sports playing on several mounted televisions but not too bright and the noise level was surprisingly low. We had an awesome time and as I said are already planning to return. read more

All day I had a craving for a good cheeseburger. Upon arrival into PCola I remembered that there is a Miller's ale house quite close to my hotel. Miller's seems like the kind of place that would have a really good basic burger, right? Classic bar food good atmosphere. What more could you want. So I'm puzzled how you could completely screw up a basic cheeseburger. I guess my answer is that they just don't care. The bun was awful. Way too much bun for the burger, which they claimed was a half pound, but I don't think so. The bun honestly tasted like it had come from a day old bakery store. The burger itself seemed like it was a frozen premade patty. Just not much there and not a lot of flavor. For a side, I asked for their homemade kettle chips. 90% of them were soggy as if they had been sitting in a tray for a while and just thrown onto my plate. Now I have been to this Miller's before and was not displeased. Maybe it's because this was the dinner shift and the place was pretty empty so I am left with an unsatisfied craving for a good cheeseburger. This has been my Sunday football spot for the last three weeks and I enjoy myself at the bar, tracking my fantasy league. So I've ordered a few dishes here over the past weeks and haven't been wowed yet. My two least favorites were the fried cheese curds and the calamari. The cheese felt so weird between your teeth when chewed. The calamari has a weird texture as well, too soft to be anywhere close to fresh. The wings are good. Potstickers are good. The Cobb salad was good. They just have good food at best but an awesome staff that seems to operate seamlessly. read more
