its very great location and fantastic redfish taco and redfish meal. Fried fishes were very crispy. Malea served us with her beautiful smile and friendly suggestions she made our 2 lunches perfect. Well done thank you!

Redfish Sandwich, blackened with smoked Gouda cheese

Got the blackened Redfish sandwich and tots. Menu says it comes with American cheese but I substituted smoked gouda. Really good. Large piece of fish that hung over the bun quite a bit and was cooked really good. Nice chunky tomato slice. Server Amber provided excellent service. Overlooked a marina. Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside, which was nice and shaded with a nice view. I liked it and will be back on my next trip.

The wait staff was very friendly. We were seated right away. The appetizers of fried onion rings and loaded tater tot's were quite good. For dinner, I had the redfish topped with shrimp and Gouda cheese. It was so so. Being from New Orleans, I am kind of picky about shrimp and sauces. The fried shrimp had a heavy batter but did taste very good. The three of us enjoyed drinks, appetizer and entrées for $89. I thought it was quite reasonably priced. For a beach restaurant it was worth going to. The back patio is excellent for drinks and watching the sunset. The "bushwhacker" is similar to a mudslide and worth the calories. Our friend, enjoys Champagne but did not know what to order. So the bartender created a new drink called the MaryLou in her honor, Champagne with a splash of a strawberry Lacore.

yes this place was purty good. the food was cheap and it was honestly a vibe in there. would recommend. service was a lil slo but it was busy asf so it's ok

The only thing good in this meal was the oysters on the half shell. The Frisky Flounder was smothered with cheese, way to much.

The pork rinds came with a house hot sauce which were delicious. All of our entrees were delicious. My scallops were perfectly cooked and not sandy at all. My husband's pork shank was huge and super tasty. My parents both got the brisket sandwich and the cornbread was stellar! Great place and we'll be back if we visit Pensacola again.

I was seated in the middle of the bar with customers on both sides of me. My server took my drink and food order, and after that, she never returned to check on me. I watched her walk past me several times while attending to the customers directly to my left and right. Not once did she ask how my food was, whether I needed another drink, a box, or my check. Eventually, another server noticed my frustration and asked if I needed anything. I told him I needed a box and my check and explained that my server had never returned to check on me. His response was, "We are all working the bar." That response was unnecessary and dismissive. If everyone was working the bar, it makes it even more confusing that I sat there for so long without anyone checking on me. A simple, "I'm sorry about that. Let me take care of you," would have been the appropriate response. I understand restaurants get busy, and I don't expect perfection. However, basic attentiveness and customer service should be expected, especially when a customer is sitting directly at the bar. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing.

On Monday night we walked in and we're immediately greeted by Olivia, who was very kind, inviting, and a generally good person to sit and talk to. Gave amazing customer service and suggestions to accommodate our specific drinking taste. Tuesday night I came to get a sandwich from the food truck and Bruno was an amazing staff. His customer service and his effectiveness were astronomical and was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The atmosphere when first walking into Wisteria Tavern was unique, cozy, and professional. The outdoor sitting area was inviting even in rainy weather and was an all-around 10 out of 10 experience. Every time I visit Pensacola for the next 20 years, I will be coming to Wisteria Tavern. My only critique is not to wisteria Tavern, but to other bars, that are lacking in the type of experience that I had at this establishment. Again, shout out to Olivia and Bruno for being some of the best bar staff I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. PS Bruno, those sandwiches were fire.

We ordered a scotch egg, a mixed drink, and a Guinness for starters. I've never had a scotch egg. It wasn't exactly what I had expected, but it was very tasty. The beer was a Guinness so... good. My wife ordered a grouper sandwich with truffle Parmesan fries. The fish that I tasted was really good. The fries came with a sauce. Without the sauce the fries weren't really all that good. With the sauce they were better. I think the truffle threw me a bit. My wife liked them though. I ordered bangers and mash and a Yorkshire pudding on the side. The sausage was very tasty, the gravy was really good. The pudding with the gravy was really good. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant. Okay, but not as good as they would have been if they were made from potatoes instead of out of a box. The dish came with fried onion rings on top and a bite that included a bit of everything was very tasty. We ordered the toffee pudding for desert. THAT was great!! The first thing that impressed me was the ample parking. The restaurant also has a small private beach area for customers, along with a great bar area overlooking the water. The property is handicap accessible with both ramps and stairs, making it easy for everyone to enjoy. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Assistant Manager Taylor. He made me feel extremely welcome and even recommended a lunch item from the menu. I took his advice and ordered the Pork Ribeye Sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. On the side, I had a salad with their homemade ranch dressing. Without a doubt, this is some of the best ranch dressing I have ever had. The bartender, Cody, was outstanding as well. I tried the Lime Margarita, Blackberry Mojito, and the Strawberry Basil drink. Every one of them was fantastic. You can tell this is a place that people genuinely enjoy working at. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the customers all seemed happy to be there. It's rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right, but Avenue Pub comes very close. If you're anywhere near Orange Beach, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back.
