Ace's Hanger catered two private parties at our home in the past two weeks and both were perfect! The prices were reasonable and the quantity and quality was spot on! The service and attention to detail pleased all of our guests and owner, Scott, delivered and prepared everything perfectly. First party was a younger crowd and they enjoyed the Taco Bar, the lasagna and charcuterie. Second party was for our retired or mostly retired friends and we loved the Oysters Rockefeller, shrimp cocktail, more lasagna, and Spinach and artichoke dip! It was nice not to have to worry about cooking and I was able to relax and enjoy the party rather than being tied to the kitchen! Scott was great working with my dietary restriction too. He even made me a separate batch of Oysters that were yummy and keto! Plenty of leftovers and everyone was happy to take them home. read more

We stopped at Ace's on our way to a hotel and were pleasantly surprised to have such a good experience at such an unassuming place! We were just about the only family in there and our service reflected that. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. Our food was delicious, and I especially enjoyed my fried shrimp and grilled shrimp. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well, although the coleslaw was a little bland. Brought the bestie here last night because we heard the original aces opened a second location . Just have to let yall know the new location does not do the hot line of veggies like the original location. That's why we came here...... But overall the food was great ! Only complaint we have is the menu says homemade Alfredo , asked server too and she said yes ..... it was not homemade . Tastes like from a jar. But the homemade ranch , and appetizers were amazing ! Family took us out for breakfast to Aces Hanger. The place is exceptional! U S Service memorabilia galore! Very Patriotic! Then the food! Oh the food! Hot! Great tasting! Quick! Our server was perfect! All four of us had a fantastic experience - and I not sure about the others, but I had to move a belt loop when we left... Wow!! This was so worth the drive to Avalon. What a menu they have. Something for everyone. We had the Epic Salad. It was loaded with strawberries, cranraisins candied pecans blue cheese onions tomatoes and a vinegar balsamic glaze. Also chicken tenders with a loaded potato and a small order of blue angel chips. Everyone was nice and looked very friendly. The Ambiance (looked like) very military and open, some people put something on walls and ceiling like decorate the place. The gumbo is really good, very nice flavoring. all the burger were nice and juicy the salad is a big portion but was so good. Airplanes are everywhere. read more

Tried the pulled pork bomber nachos. They were delicious. I did ask for some more cheese and sour cream, but the flavor was certainly unique. Service was excellent. They are super friendly and kept on top of your needs. Definitely will be back. read more

I really want to give this place a better review! Unfortunately, their timing is off. Not a busy night but service took a while. Watched a couple come in after us who got their salads, entrees deliver as they finished. Then ordered a dessert and we're gone. My husband ordered a Caesar salad which took a while. After about 3 bites his entrée arrived! I got my entree & 1 side because they were having a hard time w/the sides. My 2nd side was sautéed green beans! Our waitress, while being friendly, was scarce. The management may have had her doing other duty because the 2 other wait staff we saw were very visible. Probably won't return. Sad because the food was pretty good. read more
