I ordered the spinach artichoke dip and a chicken bacon ranch personal pizza. The bowl the spinach artichoke dip came in was warm but the dip its self was cold. When my waiter came back I told him. He took the bowl. When he came back the dip was warm but it didn't taste right. So I didn't eat it. The pizza was burnt on the bottom. He never refilled my drink. He only ask when I was done. We came in last week for dinner and this was our first time coming to this restaurant. The restaurant was really busy but we made a reservation on open table. We were seated promptly and our server did a great job of letting us know what they were known for and gave us great suggestions. We all tried the burgers and they didn't disappoint. I had a solo dinner here as a part of a business trip, so I sat in the bar area. The server that helped me was incredibly warm and kind, and answered all of my questions about the menu. I ordered the strawberry salad with warm chicken - it was delicious, although next time I'd ask for the dressing on the side. I love that they offer the ability to pay your bill via phone, where it's saved into your BJ's account, and you can have the receipt emailed. Makes it easy peasy for a business dinner. I was absorbed in work on my laptop, and later scrolling on my phone, when the hostess asked if she could move me from the larger bar table. I hadn't realized that the entire restaurant had filled up in my time there. She seemed so embarrassed and scared to ask, but truthfully did so in the kindest way possible. I was absolutely hogging the table and appreciate how she handled it. The hospitality and kindness of my server and the hostess really made this a 5-star experience. I'm currently here! Patricia is my waitress. We are a party of 13. She never brought the extra salad dressing for those who requested. She never refreshed my beverage. She did for every one except me and I asked her twice. I ordered double bone pork chop special and asked for extra mandarin sauce. I asked for my broccoli to be doubled steamed. I received pork chop with ZERO sauce. 15 minutes later after I mentioned it again she bright out a small serving. However it was not cooked in so useless. Broccoli was not double steamed but raw. She finally brought out steamed broccoli. However at this point my appetite is ruined. I'm extremely disappointed and Patricia's attitude was rude to everyone! Came in for a quick bite and a beer. Sat at bar. Bartender was attentive. I tried their Amber Ale and my husband the Pilsner. Both were good. We both had salads. Clean inside, bathrooms were clean, music was a bit much at times even at the bar it was so loud and obnoxious. read more

It's a cool lofty bar looking place with plenty of tables. It wasn't that crowded for a Saturday night. The food was a step above a Texas Roadhouse or Applebees. Food seemed fresh. First issue was that they had no pretzel appetizer. I'm going to assume it's not made fresh. Another issue my party had was that the French dip didn't come with enough au jus. The biggest issue we encountered was poor service. We had a very inattentive server. He disappeared for long periods of time. I never even got a drink refill when my food arrived or when I ate. So I would try it again because the food was good but hopefully with a more attentive server. read more

My Husband and I live in Orange Beach. We make special trips to Pensacola, just to eat at BJ Restaurant. We Love their food and service is always great, no matter how busy they are. We had Trevonn as our server today. He was so nice, attentive, big smile and took care of us. We talked to the Manager GC on how Trevonn and every server we have had has been great. Great hiring Skills go out to him. We always see GC running the restaurant and helping the servers where needed. If you work for a great boss, you will have great emoloyees. He was very nice and saw he had passion for the restaurant he works for. We always order the same thing every time, because it is so good, Wedge Salad and Oriental Salad. This time I ordered the pizza on my daughter 's recommendation and it was soooo delicious. It was deep dish and the crust was homemade. I can't wait to go back. Sat at the bar and ordered Sal's Brewhouse Chicken and the house salad (only 2 other customers sat at the bar). While the food was good, the service was lacking to say the least. Server (TG) acted like he could not care less! He wasn't rude he was just so flat and acted bored. My husband and I went out to dinner tonight and we didn't even get seated. Upon arrival, we were told the wait was 5-10 minutes. No biggie, it was just me, my husband and our two year old son. We waited for close to 15 minutes. Not only that, we watched three groups seat before us who arrived after us. It was groups of 2 each, and the last group before we left was told they had a 15-20 minute wait, but were seated almost immediately. It was like we were completely forgotten even though we were waiting right there. It was extremely frustrating because at one point, it seemed they even had our menus prepped only to prep menus for the other group. What a GREAT experience. We love bj's! Whenever we are on vacation or just wanting to eat in town we always pick a bj's. Such great service, great food. There was a little wait because of shift change but it wasn't too bad! Our server, even though it was busy, never rushed us, he was very knowledgeable about menu items. He was being very personable, just making that awesome experience even more rememberable. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had eating out. My asparagus was a little over seasoned, but that was the only thing that had a problem our whole visit. Everything was cooked perfectly! Red Lobster was closed next door and thought to give this place a try. So glad we did. The atmosphere was nice, service was friendly and quick, and foods were right on point! Went to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Pensacola, FL and in Mobile,AL and I must say the experience was very similar. The food was not bad but it was along the line of typical bar food. Nothing overly spectacular and we had multiple appetizers and entrees to get a variety of what was being offered. I think the one thing that's definitely need is MORE SEASONING!! I will not go as far as to call the food bland but there is significant room for improvements! The staff at both locations were very nice and accommodating. Seated us quickly and very attentive to our needs and questions. The dining facilities were both decent leaning heavy towards the sports bar look but not bad and both were very clean. The one HIGE plus for both locations is a very well stocked bar!! So if you are looking to catch the big game and enjoy a beverage or two, you may want to give the a visit every now and again. read more

I will start by saying... we use to love BJs and often ordered out. However, We ordered the sirloin nachos as part of our take out order on super bowl Sunday. They were always my favorite in town. They were awful! Half the amount (size) they were last year. Hardly any toppings and a total of 8 small chunks of sirloin. They nachos, 2 orders of wings and a medium cheese pizza was over $80. Eighty dollars wasted on mediocre tasting food. We may have had our last meal from BJs. read more

We had the greatest server in a very long time. David took such good care of our group and he was absolutely amazing.

The wife and I met up with family, and we were seated within 3 mins (it was a Tues). The waitress assigned to our table was spot on with willingness to make sure we were good at all times and answering questions since it was our first time there. She wasn't overbearing. I don't know how I haven't been here before! I kinda thought that it was gonna be bad just based off of the fact that I don't hear much about the food here other than the pizookie. I was mistaken, the food was delicious! I had the classic cheeseburger and my boyfriend got the lemon pepper wings. Both of us were pleasantly surprised with how good it was! The portions were large and DEFINITELY worth the price! The flavor was something that you couldn't get at Chilis or Red Robin. Service was also exceptional from our server Ryan! He made sure to point out the specials for us seeing as it was our first time eating here. We will be looking forward to coming back! read more

BJ's has to be one of my favorite restaurants BUT they lack customer service. This has been the first location that I've had this problem because in Miami they are great. The waiters are always no where to be found. I spent around 4 hours total from waiting to order, waiting to receive the food and then waiting for the check which took the longest as if they didn't want to get paid. Otherwise the food is amazing and it's sad to say I'd never go back to that location again after giving them 3 chances to be better. read more

I love the food here at BJ's, but the service is not the greatest. My family and I were here for about 2 1/2 hours all together. We waiting for a long time for the waiter to come and take our order, waited long for the food, and waited almost forever for the check.
