Beginner's Diner - Reuben Sandwich. The flavors hit a great balance of savory and tangy. Curly fries on the side were perfectly crispy.

I was honestly a little nervous coming here after seeing some mixed reviews, but I'm SO glad I went…read morebecause everything was really good. The food was delicious across the board. The cinnamon bun is HUGE -- definitely shareable -- and absolutely worth getting. The biscuit and gravy were so comforting and flavorful, and my breakfast plate with the buckwheat pancakes had such a nice, slightly different flavor that I actually loved. Nothing to complain about at all -- everything hit. But what really stood out was the staff. Our waiter was so sweet and made the whole experience even better. Great service always makes such a difference, and they really delivered here. Overall, such a great breakfast spot. I would definitely come back again!

Food was ok but not for the price and service ketchup was bad and spoiled my wife's plate was warm my plate came cold told them all they did was pour more warm hot sauce on top of my chilaquiles red sauce was good. Lots of miscommunication even though we were speaking fluent Spanish. Here is a picture of our Brunch recipe. I was also charged for them to sign HBD for my wife when they asked we can choose from a pastry from the house which was a flan de elote . Price is out of range for service and experience! No Courtesy For Anything and food being cold and ketchup being bad drinks were also not as cold except my cold coke with ice.

We came in sweats and sweatshirt but it's a little more upscale than your average breakfast/brunch place. Our server was attentive and practiced his English with us. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, clean, zen... the food was delicious! The servings are pretty big so come hungry! They offer pan Dulce or a pastry if you order coffee. Which we did. I had the enfrijoladas, my neice had the omelette Azteca. I ordered café de olla but our server suggested the pumpkin spice latte which is my fav and was absolutely delicious! We had to take our food to go bc it was so much yumminess to leave behind.

They have their own designated parking, which is nice, as sometimes parking may be an issue in town. The parking attendant welcomes you and lets you know where to park. You are immediately greeted when you walk in. I typically visit for a late lunch. The restaurant has a cozy feel. The staff are attentive and friendly. The presentation of the food is nice and it tastes good. Some of the dishes that I have tried are: Tarahumara (portobello omelet), Xitomatl (entomatadas), Huichol (chilaquiles con cecina), Mulli (mole Oaxaqueño), Teotihuacán (chilaquiles con chorizo y huevo), and Coyoltzin (puntas de filete). My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make. Overall, a great place to have breakfast or lunch with friends and family.

Then I had a friend say that he actually met Bing Crosby here way back in the day so we were like "Okay, we gotta go now!" A nostalgic, elegant vibe for a diner and you feel very comfortable inside. And the food is fantastic! Old school diner vibes, pretty simple - in a good way!…read more Our waitress was super friendly. It's tight in there so the place fills up fast. It was easier to seat a party of two than a larger group. But people aren't there to lounge so tables seemed to turn over timely. Not gonna lie, it was hard seeing people who ordered after get their food first. But again, it was packed on a weekend. Nothing fancy going on here, burgers, sandwiches - the usual. I did enjoy the phosphate sodas that you can choose the flavor of. Orange and vanilla was pretty tasty! The California BLT comes with avocado and cream cheese. Putting the cream cheese on the side worked, I tried it and ate it with most of my sandwich. Don't think I needed it it every bite though. Coleslaw was really good! Loved the old toys they have displayed, even picked up some jax for my mom. That's her childhood claim to fame. The train that goes around up-top is fun too! Lots of historical items and pictures. It's an old place that's holding it down. Glad I checked it out.
