We visited Park Social back to back during our San Diego trip because it was so close to our hotel, and we're glad we did! Street parking near the restaurant was a breeze. The service was excellent every time, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. We especially appreciated that the bathrooms were clean. The food and drinks were outstanding. The latte and chocolate blended drink were both delicious, and the avocado toast, French toast, and 2 eggs any style were absolutely wonderful. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Even on the weekend, there was plenty of seating, which made for a relaxed dining experience. Overall, this was one of our favorite breakfast spots during our trip, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in San Diego! read more

Across the street has a mini park for walking, workouts or pups. PARKING we came by at 1pm on Thursday so we got the free 1 hour parking out front. Otherwise, I bet this place fills up. They did have paid parking on the street as well. FOOD I saw the loco moco was popular so my husband got that. He said it was good but isn't as mind blowing as the one at Wonderland in OB. I'm been to this cool coffee shop with a beer fountain a few times and this sums up my experience. It's usually pretty packed given. The proximity to the apartment buildings nearby and seating is sometimes a premium. I like sitting on the porch and watching the people and wrapped with their pets to nearby Field Park. Sampled a few of the beers and sangria on tap with an açaí bowl. It's a little spendy, but a nice time. I had brunch with my 2 friends earlier this morning. One friend ordered the French Toast and the other ordered the Breakfast Burrito. I opted for the newest item on the menu: Fig and Pig Bread. I absolutely loved my plate that included soft scrambled eggs, arugula salad topped with prosciutto and cherry tomatoes, 2 thick pieces of fig bread, and whipped butter topped with pistachios and honey. It was incredibly delicious and what really stood out was the fig bread. I would come here again for the bread! Yes, it's THAT good!! All 3 of us enjoyed our food, but mine was the most impressive. I hope they decide to keep this new dish on their menu. The coffee was good, nice and strong! It's just what I needed to energize me for a day of shopping! Went here for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully we were lucky enough to get parking close by and didn't have to walk far. There is a lot nearby that you can park in. It's in a little community that has different apartments around, and there's a little park right across the street. The restaurant is very small on the inside but has plenty of outdoor seating. They have a special drink menu for the holidays. I had the Snickerdoodle latte, hot. It was very good and not too sweet which I was very happy about. A lot of the holiday drinks are overly sweet at a lot of places I've been to. You order at the counter, and they provide you a number for the table, and bring out your food later. I decided to order the breakfast burrito, and it was definitely a good choice. You can order it with bacon or sausage, and I went with sausage. The egg inside was very fluffy, and it had a good ratio of potato and sausage. One of my friends tried a newer dish they just added to the menu, called the fig and pig. This was one of the choices I was torn between as well. She raved about the dish and said how delicious it was. The toast had figs in it, and it was served with prosciutto, scrambled eggs and a small salad along with a pistachio whipped butter. The server was very nice and we got our food quickly. They even accommodated me when I asked them if they could change my original order from iced to a hot drink, since it was a little cold outside. Did someone say social? Located within an apartment complex, it's the perfect spot to come hang out for a beer or some mimosas and have a good bite to eat. We have been here a few times and always have a great experience. The parking isn't always the greatest but a short walk will fix that. Dogs are also welcomed on the large patio or the smaller one as well. The food was perfectly cooked and the bread was not hard but had a nice soft texture which we appreciated. Tingly on the tongue. The portion was larger than expected so I was unable to finish it. I also got a large iced chai latte with oat milk and it was delicious. You order at the counter and are given a number. My total for the chilaquiles and large iced chai latte was $25 which for a good meal in SD was worth the price to me. Very interesting selection of music. Kind of reminded of being in a club. A little too upbeat and crazy for morning. There are 10 tables of four with two larger tables to fit 8 inside. The outside patio is larger than expected with numerous tables to fit approximately 50. It is located across the street from Centrum Park. With the 30 taps, I could see this place getting packed on a weekend night or on a Sunday morning for a NFL game. There are four televisions inside so this would be a good option to catch a game and grab a bite after work. My friends ordered a variety of other items, and I spread looked really nice! The orders would gradually come out one by one, so it would take awhile when one person gets it, and there's an awkward time period of time till the next person gets it. Also cause we didn't eat until everyone's food arrived (haha), but we got it all at the end. So I only tried the french toast and I enjoyed how fluffy it was! I come here too much to not give it a good review. Out of pure convenience, this place is awesome. For the residence of the Vive complexes, it's a 1-2 minute walk from your apartment. They serve coffee, tea, beer, wine, breakfast, lunch, dinner, you name it! They feature one of those pour-your-own-drinks that charge by the ounce, you can try a little bit of everything they have to offer. Their coffee are supplied by local roaster, Café Moto. And I must have had five happy hour birria quesadillas in my time living here. Cashiers and workers are always attentive, enthusiastic, and smiling. The inside is spacious, perfect for big groups or just sitting, relaxing and working. For non-locals, there is a huge parking structure near the big, green Sunroad and you can stay there an hour for free. Overall, I'd recommend checking out this place. It's across the freeway and a bit out of the way from the typical Kearney Mesa restaurant scene. The line was long, but moved fairly quick. The staff were friendly, however didn't know anything about the food and seasonal coffee drink items. I like when they have tried menu items and can give recommendations. I find it helpful when they have insight on what is a popular item or have some knowledge on what tastes good. I ordered the oatmeal cookie latte and the chilaquiles with birria. The latte did not taste anything like a cookie and I couldn't even taste the espresso. It tasted like warm milk and cinnamon. The chilaquiles had a beautiful presentation, however lacked beauty in the flavor. The sauce was bland and was missing something. The birria was juicy, but that too lacked seasoning and flavor.
