Having been in the business for many years I called bullshit on that charge. So that conversation didn't end well. I said costs of doing business should be incorporated into your pricing and not an added cost to your patrons in an add on fee. So because he wasn't at all apologetic or empathetic I charged him 1.86$ bullshit charge which I deducted from the gratuity. Sorry to say I won't be returning.
