If I could give this company a negative star I would. I rented a tent from this company for my wedding reception last Sunday. After everything was set up by Lake Washington and guests had arrived gusts of wind started blowing off of the lake. As the wind began picking up in intensity people began gathering under the tent. Within a very short amount of time the wind blew the tent over. It's a minor miracle that none of the 100 or so people there were injured. The tent did however crush an SUV parked behind it. After the tent toppled the reception was for all practical purposes over. Months of planning and money spent wasted simply because this company's setup crew didn't know how to properly secure the tent. After the fact this company begrudgingly offered to refund half the rental fee and compensate the SUV owner. Not a good offer but the only other way to get satisfaction, unfortunately, is to sue them for negligence. I will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Dont ever go to this place! They lie and they yell at you and they basically treat you like you are shit! This place is worst customer service place ever! We rented out almost $400 stuff from them. We paid half of the money up front for deposit and then we paid other half when we picked up our rental stuff. After we returned the rentals couple days later they took money out of my credit card without even notifications. I went there to ask what is going on the owner of the millers Rental said " i don't care what you rented but you were charged because there was misunderstanding". He doesn't care about customers and he and his workers started to yell at me saying you got patted nice chairs thats why you were charged more. I originally ordered the patted chairs (showing it to the guy this is the chair i want) and then he wrote up wrong chair on our contract with different price. Owner and his workers yelled at me saying you got nicer chair so that's what you charged extra. First of all, they wrote wrong code in their system (wrong chairs) and then the worker actually lies saying I talked to one of my guy and told him there will be price change. How would I ever know what they talked internally. The owner and his workers are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I used Miller's for my equipment rental (chairs and some tables) for my recent wedding. They were OK - the price was good and I appreciated their flexibility with my numerous changes over the last few weeks before the wedding. I took off two stars because I had to correct the order when something I requested had nevertheless been omitted, and also because they called me several times on my wedding day to discuss drop off when I had given them contact information for both my wedding coordinator and the venue coordinator for day of inquiries since I was obviously distracted with other things. read more

I have rented from Miller's numerous times for our children's birthdays, parties, and household repairs. They always have what we need and are very helpful and professional. Their prices are competitive and often less than other area rental stores. The staff there answers my questions and shows me how to use equipment before leaving. The items are in good repair and anytime there has been any issues they have been quick to respond and help come to a fair solution. My husband and I have rented from Miller's twice now with an excellent experience each time! The customer service has been great (especially Paxton). They are very knowledgeable, offered up helpful advice, and showed us how to work the equipment. They even refunded some of our money back to us for returning equipment early, which I didn't expect. They have a delivery/pickup service which is very reasonably priced and a huge help in a pinch. We'll definitely be renting from them again! read more

Do not rent drain snakes from miller! There equipment is abused and they accept no responsibility if it breaks. I rented a 75' 1/2" snake to clear my shower drain under my foundation. Beacon had come out in the past and that was the size they used. I was 15' into my pipe feeding it in slowly and the line broke off in my drain. I called Paxton and he told me that a 1/2" snake is the wrong size for my drain and I should have used a 1/4". It would have been nice if Paxton would have told me that or asked what I was intending to use it on before he rented it to me. Paxton said they would attach a new head to the end of the line and rent it as a 50' line. He told me a replacement line was around $200.00. So he said he would cut me a deal and charge me $160.00 for the replacement line. He never actually showed me the price in his parts book. What a deal. He gets to continue to use the tool and beat me for $160.00. I highly doubt he will actually replace the line. leaving the next renter subject to there rental/replacement trap. Who knows what abuse the line had on it before I rented it. I asked why he didn't offer warranty at the time of rental. He said sometimes they break and for that reason they cant offer user warranty as they have when I rented other equipment from them. If a tool was prone to break why wouldn't you want to offer a warranty you ask? So they can beat you up as they know it will break eventually and get you on the replacement cost. I am out $220.00, my drain is completely clogged now and I have to hire a plumber to saw cut my foundation to retrieve a used broken snake drain. I just got a quote for $4500.00 from a local plumber retrieve it by saw cutting my foundation. Terrible customer service. Paxton and his boss are thieves and snakes. Rent a snake from them if you want to get beat up if it breaks. read more
