This park is 8-acres. My fur baby and I love to come to this park. I love is because there is water for my baby to swim and get tired out. A tired pup is a happy pup. There's also a park for small dogs to swim which is awesome. They don't have to be intimidated by the bigger pups. I've had no issues here. This park is a 4 star for being a free place to bring your doggos. There is a large area with 2 pools/ponds for large dogs, 2 water fountains for humans and dogs, plenty of trash cans and clean up bag receptacles, 2 covered awnings to stay out of the heat, benches around the entire facility, and a small caged off area for the little doggos with a pool area as well. Only negative feedback is the open grass areas must retain water as the mud holes are plentiful. For a free park that is off Westheimer, I couldn't ask for anything better. I have explored dog parks near the energy corridor, all over Katy, been to many places near cypress and cinco ranch.. I have yet to find a dog park that compares to this one! I love this dog park because it's 10 minutes away from my house and it is huge! That being said I try to take my doggo at least 4 times a week when I'm off and he loves it. We often go and see some other doggo regulars so it's quite nice and friendly there too. They have a small dog area and a big dog area both of which my dog does well in, however, I take him to the small dog area when the big dogs get a little too rough. My dog loved it here! I live in Maryland and I always want to have a place to go to on weekends or after work where he can run around and be free. Sadly, the dog parks near us in Maryland aren't exciting enough for my pooch. My mother brought us to this dog park and I feel in love. My dog was so happy to run around with the other dogs. There is enough space for the large and small dogs. We were in the small dog enclosure so I cannot speak much on the large dog space. There is a pond for the dogs to cool off if they choose to. I like that there are seating areas, covered and uncovered, for the humans. My dog quickly made friends and had a ball running around the pond, going into the water and playing chase with my nephew and niece. I love this park, there is so much land for my dogs to run around. Everyone here is super friendly and there is two large ponds for dogs to swim and play too! The one thing I am not a fan of is when it rains. There is piles of mud and still water, but other than that this park is my go to! They even have a small gated section for smaller dogs like chihuahuas, dachshunds, etc. I recommend coming here late afternoon when people get off work because there is more dogs and it gets cooler when the sun goes down. read more

There really isn't anything negative to say to about this park. They keep their grass looking good, empty their trash regularly.. there's a small snake in the left pond but that's about all. I gave this park a 4/5 solely due to the owners that go. I've brought my dog, Dahlia, to this park every day since I first found her on the street as a puppy for socializing purposes because she's a pit, and though I've made numerous dog park acquaintances... the larger she grows, the more people overreact about her. Owners will bring their baby Dachshunds in the large dog area, literally the most fragile dog you can imagine, and get upset when larger breeds end up playing with it just like they do other large breeds.. which is roughly. Owners here are very overprotective and don't know when the right times are to intervene. They unnecessarily make a scene when nothing aggressive takes place, which can be very stressful because no one wants to be confrontational at a dog park. I've been coming to this park regularly for close to a year now and have only witnessed 2 actual dog fights. It rarely happens, so please, if you choose to come here, understand that 9 times out of 10, the interactions between your dog and other owners' dogs are not aggressive. Please keep your small dog in the small dog area to avoid a larger dog overwhelming yours. It's just common sense, and y'all genuinely seem to not have it. Please also understand the fact that this is a come at your own risk park. Your clothes will be dirtied (I've had owners actually get upset at me because Dahlia got dirt on them), your dog will play with other dogs, and not every dog is trying to murder yours. Sometimes dogs just play roughly. If you aren't ready for rough play- just stay home. On the other hand, if your dog is bleeding or yelping in pain, then you may wail your arms around and scream, but if your dog is just uncomfortable or does not want to play with a specific dog, calmly separate them and move to a different area of the park. It's just that simple. Most people come to this park, come to enjoy dogs. They don't come to further deal with people. Otherwise, this park is gorgeous and is a fun place to go with your dog. Just depends on if the owners that are there at that time have an IQ above 80. Thanks for reading! read more

I love that this park has a gated section for small dogs under 20 lbs. I'm trying to socialize my 4 month old girls so took them for the first time today. They had so much fun and made so many new friends. The people here are very friendly and the grounds are clean so the fur parents are very responsible about picking up after their pups. Amazing park!!! Large enough for big dogs and the area for small dogs is a great size as well. I really enjoy the pool for the small dogs. I'm not sure how deep it is but it's safe enough if your dog isn't enthusiastic about going in to far. There are water fountains for humans and dogs. The only downside is that there isn't a human bathroom. The dogs even have a shower. You need to bring your own soap. The water is cold so bring a towel to dry your baby up. Parking is plentiful. The atmosphere is great. You'll make new 4 legged and 2 legged friends. I'll be back with my dog for sure. read more

Millie Bush Dog Park: Best dog park I have ever seen in my life thus far! Like everything else in Texas, this place is humongous. I'm talking a couple of football fields humongous. Not only does this place have high quality fencing to keep our doggies from running off into the brush, it has two ponds, poop bag dispensers and fake fire hydrants all around. Really, fake fire hydrants. I mean how freaking cute is that?! They even have a smaller area gated off to the side for all dogs under 20 pounds. That's so nice and considerate since some of the big dogs could easily swallow those little yappers in one bite. Still, the big dog area is where it's at. There's nothing more cute or endearing than watching a giant 200 pound dog bound across the entire park with its tongue hanging out of its mouth in total ecstasy. Great big wide open spaces for my pup Samuel to run around. There's a large dog and a small dog area. In the large dog area there's 2 wading areas and there's benches and a tented area for the two legged folks to hangout. We've been here a couple of times and the people have been pleasant. Dogs are well behaved and we haven't had an issues since we've been coming here. There's a walking path for you to walk on while your pup runs around ape shit. Well that's what Samuel does he gets a running head start and just goes nuts. It's so funny to watch. There's doggie stations with poop bags available although not everyone picks up after there dog. It's so annoying! I can't believe people that don't clean up after there dogs. After your dog is done playing and getting dirty there's 2 dog wash station. The past 2 times I've been it's been busier and I haven't been able to wash Samuel there. It's not a deal breaker it just means I have to bathe him at home. This is our go to dog park because it's the closest one to us. Great area, plenty of parking, pleasant dogs and people. This is a winner in our book. read more

I take my dog here whenever I have the chance. It is a 30 minutes drive from my house but it is worth the drive every time. There are two ponds for the pups and massive grass area for the pups to run and get their energy out. The park is always well kept and pretty clean for the most part. People do a decent job of picking up after their pups. After all the fun there are 3 dog washing stations so there are less of line compare to other dog parks. Beware some people take their extreme possessive and aggressive dogs to the park. My dog got bite once. Please always keep an eye on your fluffy friends when they are playing and do not hesitate to report aggressive dogs for your and other people's safety. read more

So there is a huge, massive, over 30 lb dog enclosure set up with trails for people and tons of space to run. The small, under 30 lb, dog enclosure is not even close to as impressive. My 12 lb terrier mix loves to run, so I was let down by the size of the small dog area with some grass and gravel and decent running space, but no trails. At the entrance, there's a big picture of a springer spaniel whom I'm assuming is Millie Bush. The small dog area is as large as Danny Jackson's small dog area, but the large dog area is huge and the best I've seen so far in the Houston area. read more

This is an awesome park to bring your furry babies. Personally I have taken all mine to this park for years. Park is well maintained, it has plenty parking, It's fenced, it has plenty of space for dogs to run around, two pool areas to swim, water stations both for pets and humans, trees for shade when hot, spaces for pup parents to sit, bags station all around the park and even outside by entrance for responsible pet owners to pick up after dogs go #2, also separate areas in case you have a small nervous dog they have a spot for small dogs and then a general area for pups of all sizes. Place is as clean as pet owners maintain it. I wish I could review some pet owners as well because oh boy - I hope they would pickup after their pets because they make park unsanitary for their own pets and other pets(that would be the only downside) but it's not the park it's the people. Also they have a shower station for dogs to get a shower before they get into your vehicle and not make a mess believe me when I tell you, they can get messy and muddy. A tip would be to bring towels and shampoo to give your dog a shower before you leave and have your pets vaccines to date since we don't know other pups vaccines situation. If I were a dog this is where I would want to go! This park is very large with two parks (big dog / little dog). This makes it nice if you have a small breed that you are uncomfortable with around big dogs. Both sides have swimming pools, covered seating, trees, and clean up stations. I come here often to burn off some of the ample energy my little one has. It's big enough you can sit by yourself and read or you can chat amongst the other dog owners if you perfer. I do wish more owners would respect the poop pick up protocol! read more

I can't tell you how annoying it is for me as a dog owner to see dog poop littered all over the grass of this beautiful dog park. If your dog leaves behind a few treasures, don't forget to retrieve them. This is a public park for ALL to enjoy and my dog and I most certainty would appreciate it if the dog poop was picked up off the grass/gravel/sand instead being smashed on the bottom of our shoes/paws. Aside from the dog poop bonanza, it's a lovely park, there's tons of space for you and your pets to enjoy together, it's relatively safe, ample amount of parking, and a shower in the event that your dog ends up having too much fun. read more

I enjoy this dog park a lot. It is literally less than 5 minutes away so I enjoy it's convenience. Most of the park goers are really great and friendly. I will complain that it gets really messy. I know there's o,my so much you can do but make sure to stay away if it hasn't been dry outside for over a week. Lots of mud seems to pool at this park.
