    Largest of 2 dog pools/ponds.

This park is a 4 star for being a free place to bring your doggos. There is a large area with 2 pools/ponds for large dogs, 2 water fountains for humans and dogs, plenty of trash cans and clean up bag receptacles, 2 covered awnings to stay out of the heat, benches around the entire facility, and a small caged off area for the little doggos with a pool area as well. Only negative feedback is the open grass areas must retain water as the mud holes are plentiful. For a free park that is off Westheimer, I couldn't ask for anything better. We'll be back after exploring more places!

My baby girl found out she's not an alpha, but she had the time of her life!! This is a great park!

This is an awesome dog park. The dogs and parents are pretty chill! Olive and I loved it!

Wow!! Millie Bush is by far my favorite dog park and ive been to about 6 or 7 all around Houston. I have explored dog parks near the energy corridor, all over Katy, been to many places near cypress and cinco ranch.. I have yet to find a dog park that compares to this one! I always say, us country folk/suburbanites are spoiled with the best dog parks! There is a great little filtered pool for the pups.. 2 actually!! Clear blue water and so pretty. Cant wait to come back with my boy!

A scenic drive through George Bush Park to find the best dog park! We were impressed at how large and pristine it is. So many different breeds all running around and enjoying the water. We usually go to the Katy Dog Park so this was an experience! The wash facilities do not have shade, but good pressure. No bathrooms for humans is the only con.

I love this dog park because it's 10 minutes away from my house and it is huge! That being said I try to take my doggo at least 4 times a week when I'm off and he loves it. We often go and see some other doggo regulars so it's quite nice and friendly there too. They have a small dog area and a big dog area both of which my dog does well in, however, I take him to the small dog area when the big dogs get a little too rough. He loves swimming in the water and running around the park playing. Overall, I would recommend this park for other dog lovers to enjoy!

would overall recommend this place. was quite considerate to add in the walking path that goes around the perimeter. nice spot to get some more steps in. parking lot is plentiful

    Pure happiness

Amazing and worth the 45 minute drive from my house! There was an argument between two men over their dogs playing too rough but the park had someone there to help handle it

I took my pitty For the first time and I'm not gonna lie I was scared but then two gentleman reassured me it would be fine and if anything happens they would help me needless to say my baby had a good time, ppl are so polite and welcoming. I highly recommend this park.

My standard poodle loves going to this dog park. We try and go a few Times a week. The best part is the wash/rinse stations.

I love this park, there is so much land for my dogs to run around. Everyone here is super friendly and there is two large ponds for dogs to swim and play too! The one thing I am not a fan of is when it rains. There is piles of mud and still water, but other than that this park is my go to! They even have a small gated section for smaller dogs like chihuahuas, dachshunds, etc. I recommend coming here late afternoon when people get off work because there is more dogs and it gets cooler when the sun goes down.

Nice place for dogs to go have fun in their own space . They have a place for bathing your dog free of charge and it's very clean there.

Nice but not huge. Not a lot of trees to shade the area. No bathrooms or dog wash station. Pathways aren't paved.

For $9, your pup can have a specialty "puptail" of their choice: The Hawaiian Pawty Punch (antioxidants + almond milk), Doggy on the Beach (savory broth + carrots & peas) or the Mutt Mai Tai (tropical fruits + coconut milk). For a dollar less, you can also order a canned Good Boy Dog Beer. For humans, they serve canned and bottled beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We ordered the Doggy on the Beach for our two pups, but after a few sips, they weren't too content with their order. They typically love savory, but this special blend was bland. Though intentions are well, the dog bar could offer a lot more. For one) parking-- there is none, as their lot is used for their patio. Two) They do not sell food for the pups, but they have the potential to expand their menu 3) Due to the limited space, they do not offer indoor seating, and the outdoor seating they do have are three frugal ables with a few seats.

Nah, this ain't it…read more My deep gratitude to the city for curating experiences with dog owners which includes thoughtfully creating a separation between large and small dogs. This is a fairly accessible dog park, and with plentiful dedicated parking, which is really appreciated. Unfortunately, the park smells quite bad (probably because it is well trafficked), but there are also places (at least on the small side) where owners have not picked up after their pups, which adds to the sense the place is not sanitary. The pond is a nice touch, but as above, I worried about the cleanliness of the water. I am so glad the city curates spaces like this, but there are much nicer spaces in the city to take your pup!

No one came after 30+ minutes. They know and they don't care. Never again!!!! I am new to Houston and this was my biggest fear. Protect yourselves!

In a city that is known for tearing down and paving over so much of our history, it is wonderful that this was saved and has been made into a place that visitors can visit and experience. I went with some friends from Kingwood on a Photo Walk of the area, we were lucky that the light and sound experience was still going on, each column in the cistern has LED lighting that changes to the tune of some aethereal music playing silently, the acoustics of the cistern make it sound so beautiful and mesmerizing. This park is fabulous regardless of if your fur baby is this active, or prefers to relax on a bench undisturbed (although a division for the two play styles is the only thing I'd suggest adding). As others have mentioned, the dog beach, shaded benches, dog runs, trail, doggy showers, and overall cleanliness of the park are impressive. Additionally most dog parents are as trained as their pups, remaining attentive, and polite. Just be sure to watch the water if your pup is overconfident in their swimming abilities.
