Sprawling and well-kept dog park! Unfortunately no one bothers picking up their pets waste

This is a nice dog park, smaller but well maintained. There are separate spaces for small and large dogs and also a kids playground with slides etc. Unlike most comparable dog parks there is no water area in the park for dogs. A paved .44 mile trail circles the property nice for walkers and bicycles. read more

Great place for humans and dogs. The dog park has a separate entrance and exit for the dogs so they can be fenced in. The playground is ideal for young and old children. The park surrounding the park and playground is 0.44 miles as it's labeled. There are benches throughout to enjoy the tranquillity. There's also a hose to use. I think for dogs but I also used it. There isn't a restroom. They do have bags for picking up dog poop. read more

I really love this dog park. The one reason why I could not give it a full 5 stars is because it was missing 1 key aspect that all dog parks really do need. WATER! There is a hose and small bathing area when leaving the park but there is no water fountain or any area in the dog park where you can actually get them water if you run out. Word of advice, come prepared with lots of water! Other than that, this is probably my 3rd favorite park in the Houston area. I really love it and love the trails this park offers! read more

I've lived in this area pretty much my entire life and did not discover this hidden gem until last year. It's conventionally located off beltway 8 near west road. Ample parking, walking trail, dog park with two sides, playground, and most importantly... lots of poke stops and 2 gyms! read more

I love this dog park. We have been a handful of times and have enjoyed each visit. It's nice because as you approach the dog park entrance, you can look down and see the current scene of the dog park. There are two dog parks - one for big and one small. There are plenty of benches all throughout the park, which is nice for pup parents. There are also 2 shaded pavilions with benches under them. Another thing I really like about this park is that they have fun obstacles to get your pup into agility training! read more

Plenty of benches and wonderful friendly people with their friendly pets! Worth my 30 minute drive! Very cleans and the only bad thing is that the parking place for the park is very small. Some people park at the business building next to the parking lot. read more

Nice, clean park for our little doggie to play in. Lots of space for both the small and larger dogs. There are covered benches to sit under as well. The weather was so nice today so it made it even much of a pleasure. It would be great if they had water fountains for the dogs but luckily we brought our own bowls and water. There are also a few muddy holes in which the dogs roll around in. Be prepared to clean them when you leave the park. read more

Beautiful park for dogs! Green grass, no mud puddles! Fun obstacles you can try out with your dog. Very Clean. Bring water for your dog, no fountain for them, but there is a hose outside the park to rinse them off, or get water if you have a bowl. read more

This is a very nice dog park but it really sucks when you drive all the way over here to bring your dog to the park and people can't use the SMALL and BIG dog parks accordingly. There is a separate dog park for the big dogs and the small dogs but when we came we couldn't use the parks because there were all big dogs in the small dog area. Even though the sign posted clearly said no dogs over 20lbs are allowed in there. read more

I take my puppy to this park often, however, after I took her this last time (5/30/19), the next day she had a very serious skin infection that is still blistering.. i remember her laying in the grass and that they had just dug a bunch of holes in the ground (idk the landscaping term) but she's not feeling good AT ALL and was only in contact with 3 dogs that day... please be careful with your babies!!!! read more

I'm giving the park 5 stars NOT the people that use the park tho. This was our first time here and I was super excited because it's SO close to our house. We were having a great time until - This tiny couple came with a BIG German Sheared that was aggressive. The dog attacked my dog that was minding his own business. The owners just stood there while I was kicking it as HARD as I could to get him off my boy (even through my phone at his head lol). ,... My poor baby has bite holes on his back and starches. They finally left and as they were leaving the dog tried to get another dog. I just don't understand why you would being your dog when you know this. read more

Fantastic park! Engineered to collect water in times of flooding. It's brand new and has great obstacles for the dogs to play and interact.

We visited this park for the first time the other day and we absolutely loved it! It's a pretty big size and it was very clean. All of the pups were friendly and there are two parks for small and large dogs. There's also a playground and a trail as well for recreational activities. We will definitely be back as there weren't many muddy areas or puddles, which we like to stay away from to prevent those extra baths! read more

I love this dog park because it's super close to my house and tucked away in the back of a neighborhood. There are two dog parks, one for big and one for small, and they are both surprisingly large. There isn't a pool, but there is a wash station along one of the walking trails. The grounds are very well kept and there are plenty of doggy bags available. I haven't come across any extremely aggressive dogs, always a plus. I would recommend this dog park for anyone with a pup or anyone just looking for a new walking trail or park to visit (there is a playground on site). UPDATE - 7.9 Both dog parks have been closed for at least a month. No sign as to why and when I called parks & rec, they had no answer. read more

First off, I was EXTREMELY disappointed when we showed up in the middle of the day on a Saturday and the large dog area was closed off and there was No explanation as to why. We let our dogs use the small dog area since we came to let them exercise and there were no other dogs at the park. Second, the rules of the park state that you're not allowed to bring food or drink for humans or dogs into the park. EXCUSE ME??? You don't have water fountains for the pups and you expect me NOT to bring water for my dogs in the middle of summer? We brought water for our dogs anyway because it was 95° outside and not giving them water is just cruel. Third, not a huge issue for me but there was very little shade in the park. Honestly the only redeeming quality of this dog park is that there is a wash station for the pups and the grass appeared to be well kept. I will not be returning with my dogs even though this is the closest park to where we live. read more

I love this park, pretty open and has an obstacle course for both small and large dogs. The only problem is there is no water to hydrate your dogs while they play so you need bring bottled water, and even so there's only one bowl that all the dogs use so if you pull out your water be aware that other dogs are also dying of thirst and will lick the bowl clean. They do have a wash area outside the park which is nice just wish there was a hose inside for the dogs to drink. There's not much shade in the area unless you're sitting but overall the place is very well kept. I've only had a few instances where other dogs were trying to hump my girl dog and other times where owners didn't want their dogs playing with other dogs..... I guess they just wanted to bring them out for exercise. Anyways I love that it's by a playground too. read more

This is actually the first dog park I've ever been too but I loved it and so did my dog! Unfortunately I went on a early Monday morning so not a lot of people and dogs were there. VERY PRETTY BUT there's not a lot of other dogs for my pit to socialize with. It's a little small & big turn off they don't have drinking water neither for pets or us. And no swimming source for them cuz my dog LOVES swimming. Just not the best park but it's really pretty lol read more

I'm thankful I found this place and I'm going to bring my dog today. It's been awhile since my dog has been to a park because he did get attacked and started acting different, more fearful. But I want to take him here walk around and let him play with the smaller dogs and work his way up to the bigger dogs again. He's a 25lb white Shiba Inu and I'm thankful that this is a close by location to my home and that there's plenty of grass because he doesn't like being dirty or wet. Hopefully I can get some cute photos but my main focus is to make sure he's comfortable so I'm not going to be all on my phone. My dog is almost 9 years old and he grew up going to dog parks multiple times a week. If he doesn't want to be there he will go to the gate and wait for me to take him home. I will definitely pay attention to his body language. I'm thankful that dog parks exist and I don't want them to ever go away. They are a very important part of a community. I put the address in my gps and it sent me to nowhere...can anyone help? **UPDATE** Okay so I was determined to find this place because it would be so nice to have a dog park so close to me! The address is correct but you really have to look for it! If you make a right on Westwillow, the parks parking lot will be the THIRD entrance on the left! But an even easier way coming from West road is to make a right turn RIGHT AFTER the Sonic! And then go in through the subdivision. I'm so glad that I finally found this hidden gem because it's so perfect for being so close to where I live! I like that there is NO pool for pups because my dog loves to swim in the water even in cold weather so she'll end up shivering and wanting to go home. But in the summer months we will probably go to Bill Archer because she does like to cool down in the water... Also because this park is relatively new, nobody came to play with us We were there for an hour and my pup was so so sad watching the big pups next door (big dog side) but no small dogs joined us... This is a great place near me that I can take my dog with the family. Always nice people there and I love that it is tucked away. One issue is that others don't seem to clean after their pets. There is no excuse for this as they provide bags at several stations. Has a great playground for the kids and a walking trail surrounding the whole park. Very nice well kept dog park. Very roomy and has a lot of agility courses. The grass is nice and has an area shaped like a dog print. It's in a hidden area which is less traffic and also has a playground area so very family friendly. I've gone after dark and it was still unlocked, I'm not sure what time it gets locked but this particular time it was a little later at night. read more

We ride our bikes here and along the concrete trail that is attached to the park. We average 8 miles. So scenic and no automobiles to worry about. There is a small parking area if you need to drive to the park. read more

I love coming to this park, although finding it the first time was challenging. If you're coming from Beltway 8, it's behind Allegiance Bank, so you should turn at the "Antelope" sign at Westwillow Rd. The parking lot is small, but if you come on Sunday, you can probably get away with using the Bank's parking lot (it won't interfere with business on a Sunday!) The grounds are very well kept: neatly trimmed greenery, clean with trash cans (dog and human) located throughout. The dog park area has a nice balance of large field and fun obstacles scattered around, as well as concrete track to walk around and some benches for the humans. Make sure to bring water (and containers) for the dogs, as there is no water fountain--same goes for human water consumption. The kids' play area features a large play place with swings, slides, and such. There's a winding walking trail around the perimeter of the park, scattered with benches and exercise stations "designed for those over 50" and has some designed for wheelchaired folks. The trail also connects to Ballinger Park and some other walking trails, but that trek was boring for me unless you like house watching. read more

This is a really nice park. Big and activities for dogs to exercise. It's hidden so it wasn't busy like other parks I've been to. The only thing I didn't like is people don't clean up after their pets here apparently. There wasn't any bags for waste either. Other than that it's nice. read more

Great park! My two dogs love coming here, however some owners need to learn to socialize their dogs better since I've witnessed a few incidents of strong aggression. Also keeping your dog close to you with the leash on while inside the parks only makes your dog more defensive and is a recipe for disaster when other ones are trying to be playful. The park is very clean, and there's large space for both the large dog park and the smaller dogs park. I just wish there was more space for parking though! read more
