The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is an iconic Jackson Hole bar. If you are in Jackson Hole, you have to come here at least once. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a fun and lively spot where you can dance the night away to live country music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the decor? This place is as Western as you can get[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You have to sit at their famous saddles at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't love ordering the food at a window instead of being able to order it at the bar. It breaks the flow a bit. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, perhaps not a Midwest classic, but it was surprisingly delicious. Overall, 4 stars - check out their retail store full of Million Dollar Cowboy Bar merchandise.

Stopped by here for a quick drink before dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes are totally adorable and exactly what you expect in Jackson Hole.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were there around 5:30/6ish, and it was already pretty packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm sure it gets really LIVELY at night. It seemed like a great place to be to check out the nightlife.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They didn't have live music when I was there but were getting it set up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The barstools are saddles and adorably on theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a Diet Coke, and it was okay. Felt like a Diet Coke from a place that serves mostly alcohol. Got the job done tho. Great place to check out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the little cowboy outside. It's so cute and spins so you can see it from different angles.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    The saddle bar stools.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A fun place. We were there around lunch time for a drink it looked like it might be fun for dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You order at the kitchen window they give you a table marker with a number of r and your food is brought to you. There is a steak house restaurant downstairs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was cowboy bar with saddles for barstools and retro cowboy flick playing continuously.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We watch a bit of a Ronald Reagan flick. The beer was good I got a local beer a Grand Teton lager. It was good. My wife got a Huckleberry Cosmo she really liked it. Bartender was friendly. Mark & Nancy.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're in Jackson and want the full Western experience, you can't skip the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. From the moment you walk in, it feels like stepping onto a movie set in the best way possible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]First off: the saddle bar stools. Yes, they're real saddles, and yes, they're as fun as they sound.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The rustic wood interior, antler chandeliers, and classic country vibe make this place feel authentically Wyoming without being cheesy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's lively, loud, and exactly what you hope for in a legendary cowboy bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks are solid and poured generously. Expect classic cocktails, cold beer, and whiskey options that fit the setting. Prices are about what you'd expect for a popular spot in a tourist town, but the atmosphere makes it worth it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If there's live music, even better. The dance floor fills up quickly with a mix of locals, visitors, and the occasional person in full Western gear.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a quiet, intimate cocktail lounge. It's a high-energy, boots-on-the-floor kind of place. Perfect for a fun night out, people-watching, or just soaking in that Old West charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pro tip: Go later in the evening if you want the full party vibe. And go later if you definitely want a photo on those saddle seats! It's practically a rite of passage![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This was a great place to visit to set down and rest, have a drink, and chat with other travelers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Classic western atmosphere, strong drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the bison burger, some local beers, and the fireside glen cocktail, all while hanging at the bar sitting on saddle seats. The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. Had a blast - highly recommend

A friend recommended this bar as a must-see while staying near Jackson Hole. We were told we had to sit at the saddle bar stools at the bar for a unique experience - which we did, although briefly! For a Thursday night, it was packed! There was a cover charge which was $10 per person. Not sure if there was a special event, as I mentioned, it was very full of people with barely any standing space and the band was quite good. Right time at the right spot and we were lucky enough to snag a small table near the stage and order some drinks - 2 local beers which were nice and cold. We also ordered their signature burger at the window near the front and waited for the server to bring it over to our table. The burger was very good! Overall, it was a cool experience and I would recommend visiting at least once when in the area.

It's a must-do when in Jackson. Such an iconic bar and it gets really crowded. Had to sit at the bar in one of the saddles just long enough to get a pic as they aren't too comfy for hanging out very long. The decor in amazing and the knobby wood throughout is really cool. I enjoyed a Ranch Hand cocktail which is served in a Topo Chico bottle and was right up my ally.

My first tip: arrive early. This place gets very busy--the line was all the way out the door and nearly wrapped around the corner. There's a small cover charge (around $10 per person), but since we dined at the Cowboy Steakhouse in the basement, they waived it and we were able to head upstairs to the bar without paying. Inside was packed with people--probably one of the busiest bar scenes I've ever seen. There are pool tables, multiple bar areas, and lots going on. Personally, it wasn't really my vibe, so we stayed for a short while and then left. But if you're looking for a high-energy, party-style bar scene, this is definitely the spot for you.

There aren't an overwhelming number of options available in Jackson WY, but even in a bigger city, this bar is kindof a marvel to itself. Coins embedded in the counter, western decor for days, and saddles to sit at the bar. No trip to jackson is fully complete with out stopping in for a quick drink. The drinks themselves are about what you'd expect with a cowboy bar, reasonable, and stiff. They have a pretty good selection of local beer and a wide range of alcohol. The service was pleasant and quick on a weeknight, but I could imagine this place being slammed on a weekend. Theres a great area for dancing, but near closing time it's a little more calm.

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is an iconic, perpetually crowded Western institution, fully leaning into its theme with a rustic, memorabilia-laden decor and the famously unique bar seating--genuine saddles mounted on stools at the main bar, which is inlaid with silver dollars. Despite the afternoon rush, we managed to snag a seat at one of the multiple bars after a short wait, finding the bartenders to be friendly and attentive. Our drink order of a fiery Spicy Margarita and a cold local draft beer was quickly delivered, perfect to sip while observing the pool tables scattered near the entrance and the stage at the back where live performers later host nightly country dancing. For a quick bite, we had to order a simple basket of fries separately from the concise bar food counter menu. Overall, it was nice experience.

Walked in here on a Wednesday evening. Multiple pool tables will greet you when you enter. You order food separately from drinks. Food is ordered at the counter. Drinks are ordered through servers going around. Food is nothing special. Million dollar bison burger is alright. It's a burger. Cheese curds were fine. Service was quick. The chairs at the bar were all saddles, which were cool. They have live music but when we went there was not any yet. Prices here are not cheap. Overall, this restaurant is alright. The hype does not match the price. You won't miss anything if you prefer to skip this when you visit Jackson Hole.

This place is attached to the Virginian Lodge complex which is a pretty cool place to stay overall. There's a little gift shop, a burger joint, the saloon, a pool, hot tub, all sorts of little amenities. So this saloon is one part of this whole lodge experience. Immediately, we liked the laid back ambiance with lots of sofas and comfie chairs to hang out with a small group of people. We sat at the bar. For us, the vibe and casual, kickback ambiance was a five star for what we were looking for (which was that). We ordered two appetizers which were maybe about average: the hatch pepper queso was not as good as the Pace queso from the jar that we had just had a week prior. The chicken tenders were typical bar tenders, nothing special. Basic fries. So the food was struggling to score a three star. The thing about the service was that it could have been much better but because of the early hour we seemed to be sort of the warm up customers. One bartender was in training so while he greeted us he was promptly dismissed by the main bartender who alternated between being the best and the worst bartender you might have. When you're two of three people at the bar and there's only five people in the whole place you might expect to get more conversation from the barkeep since we were out of towners and looking forward to hearing about the local scene. Nope. I guess you could say it was mainly our high expectation of having a friendly bartender but ended up feeling sort of like a bar seat. This was at a very low ebb in the season as well as the day so I can't imagine that the experience would improve with more people. As with all things, it's all about expectation. If you don't expect a great bartender, and don't expect great food you might come away pleased with the venue. But no dark on tap so don't expect that either.

The name is disguised as "an entry point with a first number") tour starting at Mt. Rushmore with multiple stops in between ending at the Grand Tetons. This was our final ending meal together. First, I know the management prepared for us. We had to select the entrees a couple of days before. Second, we were seated next to the circular wall towards the street, very accommodating. Noise factor was good to excellent because of the high ceilings (the industrial look you know with exposed duct work now popular.) Third, finally the food what you really want to know... All of us had the house salad. It was lightly dressed which I appreciated since some restaurants over dress or use a harsh vinaigrette. I had their beef steaks which the tour written description was a fillet, restaurant menu list as a ribeye. I 'm not going to complain because it was accurately seared. I asked for mine medium and another asked for medium well. Both were slightly under which was good. Presentation was excellent they did change from sweet potatoes to a couscous ( I think) which was a good switch and tasty. My spouse had the rainbow trout and it was amazing! It a good size, as again presentation was great! Tasted good too! Not dry. Another person had the truffle pasta and there was a poached egg on top. What a surprise! They said it tasted good! If you want someone on the other menu section of yelp list just what was offered to us with a detailed description. The dessert was their donut holes (very crispy and tasty) with three dipping sauces. Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)
