Stuart Wagner was hired to resolve a tax error at a high cost up front. After a full year the IRS has no record of his return and no notices were received regarding efforts to resolve the issue. He allegedly made inquiries by phone. Who calls the IRS?! Nothing was in writing. He would say "oh I couldn't reach them" or many other excuses, or simply ignored emails until I demanded from his staff to get me an answer. He also never explained what he was doing but expected me to agree at the very last minute.
When the bill was clearly padded, I asked for a fee schedule of how he bills, and he had no idea what I meant and ignored the question.
When the IRS threatened a lien, and I demanded a resolution, he just sent another huge bill!! So I fired him and paid the IRS. It's easier to work with them to get it back than him! He then refused to refund or a chargeback yet still shows no proof. When I sent a demand letter to say I plan to sue if they do not refund me, I was sent a threatening letter from a lawyer related to Defilippis. See them in court! read more
