If you're exploring Bainbridge Island, Millstream is one of those places you absolutely HAVE to step into. This place is a really fun little shop packed with all kinds of unique things. Thank local artwork, hand blown glass pieces, jewelry, home decor, and a bunch of quirky things you didn't know you needed until you see them. The store feels a bit like a small art gallery mixed with a gift shop. There are beautiful paintings on the walls, colorful glass pieces hanging from the ceiling. (See pics, the jellyfish was absolutely STUNNING) Somebody please buy this for Cody!!! I went in thinking I'll just take a quick look, then suddenly I had spent twenty minutes wandering around noticing new things on every shelf. If you're visiting Bainbridge, or even a local you must definitely stop in. It's a great spot to find something unique and a good reminder of how creative the local artist community is on Bainbridge! After having lunch at Proper Fish, I wanted to check out the local shops. Millstream was one of the first shops we went into and I was so happy we did. Everyone was so friendly and I found the cutest little souvenirs, I picked up a magnet and ornament for next years Christmas trees. The prices are really fair and my little gifts to myself are actually nicely made, definitely worth the cost. They have a couple stores connected so there are fun photos, clothes and definitely Bainbridge/Seattle and Washington souvenirs. Definitely check them out when you're on the island. read more

This is a very, very cool shop. It ain't cheap but they have some great stuff here, including clothes, crafts, art, touristy items, etc. I greatly enjoyed browsing the shop and we ended up getting some very high quality clothing as a memory of our brief visit to Bainbridge Island. A nice gift shop in Bainbridge. The shop feels high dollar yet there is a whole range of affordability here. The shop is full of options ranging from traditional tourist souvenirs to handmade, local, collectible art and craft. There's nice music piped in for a relaxing shopping environment, and the owner is a super nice guy. I can't imagine walking into the shop and not finding something to take with you. read more

This is my kind of store! Soft, soothing music, sounds of flowing water, and calming scents made me feel so relaxed as I shopped. This shop show cases and sells the work of many local artists, much of which highlights the beauty of Washington. I spent quite a while here just walking around and enjoying the items for sale, like colorful pottery, paintings, and jewelry. There are many unique, one of a kind type of things on display here--not the usual touristy stuff. My sweet husband bought me a pair of earrings that would help to remind me of our visit to Bainbridge and cute Winslow Village. I loved this store! read more

Wow! The shop has a very unique ambiance. Sounds of birds chirping, realistic river creek sounds don't come off as cheesy but actually imbedded and flowing through the space like you're near an actual stream. There's trees and natural accents throughout. We stopped in to check out the local merchandise. Along with some of the typical things you expect to find in an upscale, touristy gift store, there are some delightful surprises. A beautiful shop, clean and well thought out. The proprietor was kind, friendly and knowledgable. There's something for everyone. I will treasure the raven piece I bought there for years to come! One thing I would mention, Millstream prices were very reasonable. During my vacation here, I've been in bunch of stores looking for gifts to bring home. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these folks were not into taking advantage of visitors on their island.
