Been here twice, and I'll definitely be back. All I've ever gotten is the standard lamb/beef gyro, but it's easily good enough for me to stick to as my go-to order. My only complaint would be that there's a slight lack of tzatziki sauce, but I'll just ask for a little extra next time. I come here often for my lunches, the staff is great and they know me as a regular here. I usually have. CBLT on the pita bread, which is chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Everything on the menu is good. I highly recommend eating here. read more

This is kind of a weird rating. Milo's has the best gyro I've eaten in Placer-Sacramento County since, well, forever. On the other hand, their falafel just isn't really all that great. I truly expected a better falafel considering how outstanding everything else seems to be. No matter, I'll absolutely be back and am looking forward to trying their cheesesteak on my next trip in. Fresh. Made to order. Friendly and personable service. ( I think the owner worked the register). We had a chicken gyro with Cajun fries and a chicken pesto sandwich with garlic fries. The chicken pesto sandwich was great and so were the Cajun fries. Next time I will get the traditional beef and lamb gyro. The bread was fresh and toasted to order, the Taziki very good. I just left Milo's without getting a chance to eat the gyro I had been thinking about for the last two hour drive to get there! I walked in and was ordering a gyro and I asked the owner if I could have extra meat on my gyro and what would the cost be? He told it would be double the price - I told him - no way - too expensive, what a ripoff. I told him I just wanted to add more meat because last time I ate there a couple months ago the meat on my gyro was far less than the usual amount, and I was disappointed! He then proceeded to accuse us as calling him a "cheat and liar" and says that he never cheats customers, he was visibly very upset and I was trying to be nice to him to explain that I still wanted my gyro the normal way then. He was arguing with my husband and I and he told us "to get out and go somewhere else" and that he wanted us out of his restaurant - all of this was quite embarrassing since their were other diners - hearing all of this! We left the restaurant hungry and couldn't believe this just happened! Sadly I didn't get my gyro tonight which we have loved having at this restaurant for years. We will not be back! I am not writing this review to tear his business apart, I just want him to know that he needs to remember that he is in a customer service business and he should treat his customers better and if there is a complaint, he should try to satisfy the customer the best that he can! These guys have the Gyro down pat! They loaded up the house made pita bread with tons of Gyro meat, Tzatiziki Sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. I've eaten here a couple of times and the restaurant is great. The gyro's were the best I've had; excellent tzatziki sauce. Fries were very good. We tried all three types: seasoned, cajun and garlic. Garlic was okay, cajun was good, and the seasoned were very good. Everything was fresh and freshly prepared. Philly's are next for our sampling, but I'm sure we won't be disappointed. Service was friendly and fast. We'll definitely be long term customers. Regarding the lone complainer here, the parking lot is somewhat small, the "extra" parking referenced is for the school district building employees. Doesn't Mercedes have parking for their "volunteers"? Perhaps volunteering for a humanitarian cause might be more fulfilling and less stressful for you than volunteering for a luxury car dealership. We love this place! Have not been in a while as we moved a bit further up I-80 but we definitely stop in when we are down there. It is easy access off the Rocklin Rd exit. My husband is from Chicago so he appreciates the Kronos gyro meat, while I love the awesome pita they use! The burgers are great as are the fries. I have enjoyed everything I've eaten there. Just by chance I stopped in to Milo's this evening. What a lucky break that I did! Amazing food. This is one of those rare places that are run by a mom and pop who work 24/7 to make it a success. I had the best Greek Gyro I think I have ever had. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the cucumber sauce was to die for. Robert had a Cheese steak - which he said was also awesome. The customer service is also excellent. We come here frequently and almost always have the same person, who we love. Rude rude owner and cashier !!!! I had the same experience as Mary. This Review has been way overdue about a year so go I went in and ordered a chicken Gyro - when I went to go pick it up it was lamb. I asked the cashier if she can kindly change it to Chicken and if I had to pay extra that's fine. I noticed she was super frustrated. The owner came to the front disgruntled and asked if I ordered lamb or chicken and I told him I ordered chicken then he looked over at the cashier and asked her if I ordered lamb or chicken and she said no she ordered Lamb. I said you must've misunderstood me I cannot eat lamb I did not order lamb. I said if you can please just fix my order. The owner kicked me out of his restaurant and told me to stop wasting his time and asked me to leave. I couldn't believe how horrible of a treatment I received it just absolutely blew my mind. I was completely nice to them I was never rude and just asked him kindly to fix my order but he believed his cashier and kicked me out because he thought I was lying. I have never been treated this way ever before in a restaurant it was totally brutal and humiliating. I was left with the lamb that I couldn't eat but I was so hungry that I still ate the fries and tried their Tzatziki sauce. It was very very bland and the fries where dry. Nothing impressive . I will never go back to this place. I have a huge Italian family in this area and we appreciate Greek food . The owner has lost handfuls of clients because of me and he deserves it . Amazing place to eat. It can be busy sometimes, but if you come at the right time, you might be lucky enough to have the place to your self (for a few minutes). Food is reasonably priced. Staff is very courteous. Something about the buns used on the burgers has me hooked. Nice location to grab a bite with a few good friends. Menu was recently re-done and simplified. Milo's never fails to make an excellent meal for my boyfriend and I. It can be a bit pricier than fast food however it is far from it and I can assure you it is worth every penny. This company is family owned, with impressive roots, which I believe they originally came from Greece, and also lived on the east coast. Their gyros and cheese steaks are to die for. Everything is seasoned to perfection and is Christmas in flavor town. I have been to Philly and had both diner and home made cheese steaks and it's just as good as it gets. I also lived in Canada in a very heavily populated Greek area, even around the corner from a Greek diner. We usually visit the Rocklin location, but occasionally the one inside the Galleria when in Roseville and both are consistently good. They have a great selection of sandwiches as well as gyros and the fries are seasoned well. I noticed a previous yelp reviewer had mentioned the Cajun fries- and I can confirm, they are excellent as well. We have been here a hundred times, and have always been treated well- and we plan on coming here many many more times. read more
