We stopped here for lunch based on the other reviews. We were not disappointed. I had the Philly with onions and my wife had the gyros. Both sandwiches were very well done. The bread on the Philly was toasted, the meat was plentiful and was sliced thin enough to easily bite, but not so thin that it only has one side. Although the cheese was not wiz, the cheese waz good and did not hide the flavour of the rest of the sandwich. The pita on the gyros was soft. Again, they added plenty of meat to the sandwich, along with the onion and tomato. My wife said the taziki sauce was good. The fries that came with both were very good as well. I noticed mixed reviews and since Ichiban was closed after 2:30 and I was nearby, decided to walk over to Milos for a bite. It was funny reading other reviews about the service after I ordered and was waiting for my food. The older gentleman working, (assuming the owner) does resemble a popular Seinfeld character, but just a little. I imagine with the extra stress all businesses are under due to the ever changing governors mandates, the owner here has a lot more to deal with than ringing the cash register. Despite any social shortcoming I was super impressed with my Lamb/Beef Gyros. In fact, its probably one of the best I've ever had at twice the price. Tender and Juicy, seasoned and cooked to perfection! I find myself looking more to support independent businesses vs corporate chains, and will definitely come back to Milos in Rocklin again! Milo's makes seriously good cheesesteaks. They bake their own rolls which come out chewy with just the right amount of crunch. The steak is a bit thicker than most, but it is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I added mozzarella cheese and grilled onions which complimented the steak well. Unfortunately, without Cheese Whiz no steak place can get the full 5 stars, but this one was really good without. read more

Disappointing is the best description. I had a gyro, the sauce tasted more like mayo than tzatziki sauce. Salad mix was watery causing a soggy pita and there were GIANT chunks of onion which was really the only flavor. The service was friendly and had the food been good the price would have been reasonable. Will not return. read more

These guys rock! Went there on a whim and was very Impressed. They have so many choices, that's probably my only problem. The staff is friendly, quick, and make you feel welcome. Food was good and they have a large selection of foods from cheesesteak sandwiches, gyros, pizza, burgers, etc. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was very good. Came in at a slow time. The cheese steak and fires were great, cooked quickly and delivered straight away hot to my table which for whatever reason I wasn't expecting that. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was some serious issues in upkeep of the establishment. The place was not kept up very well at all during my particular visit. The front glass door was dirty, the tray at the end of the main counter with all the condiments in it was dirty. The red squeeze ketchup bottle that came with my food was dirty. The bathroom was dirty and the trash can was overflowing with used paper towels. Several of the light fixtures light bulbs hanging from the ceiling were burnt out/not working. The lone television set was not turned on and/or not working. One tiny non working TV in this day and age? Come on guys. ALL these simple things add up and scream nobody cares and/or is not taking charge of the place. In my mind, that falls on the owner(s). I suspect they are paying there staff minimum wage or maybe a little more. Sure, the girl working the counter instead of standing there (which is what she was doing when I came in) could clean the front door and ketchup bottle but most of the other stuff falls on somebody else. Speaking of which, to the heavy set gal working the counter... try to smile and be more friendly. I know it's not the most glamorous job in the world and the pay is probably not all that great but people are coming into eat and obviously paying from there hard earned money to do so. Otherwise you seriously need to find a job that doesn't deal with the public. In the end I would recommend this place for sure as the food was good which is the most important part in my mind. Delicious and fresh! Friendly service! For $6.99 you can get a gyro and seasoned fries! Their cheesy garlic bread is pretty good too- nice and garlicky! They don't skimp like a lot of other places. I have yet to try any burgers, sandwiches, or pizzas. I had a regular gyro (beef and lamb). The meat was wonderfully seasoned and went very well with the tangy tzatziki sauce. The fries were tasty as well. My FI had the steak gyro and said he wished he got the one I did for the seasoning. I can't wait to go back again! read more

This Milo's is close to where I work, which is why I originally gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! Milo's has become my favorite sandwich spot in rocklin. I tried the hoagie Philly steak sandwich on my first try, and it was SO good that I haven't tried anything else on the menu. The hoagie comes with tender steak, lettuce, tomatoes, mozzarella and mayo on a delicious French bread roll. SO yummy. Most items come with fries, which is awesome. My wife and I spent a day wine testing and when looking for a place to eat we saw this on yelp and decided to try it out. I ordered a gyro with both lamb and beef. My wife ordered a cowboy cheeseburger. We also ordered chicken wings they had a choice of mild or hot and we went with the hot, The guy who took our order let me know right away that it would take twelve minutes to cook the wings loved that he let us know then just wait. Once the food arrived we saw that both orders come with fries. The wings were tasty fried well, the sauce was good but wasn't that spicy, and there was to much of it. The gyro was great, pita bread was made well everything in it was fresh and the lamb and beef were cooked well. My wife's burger was good, nice flavor and the bun was toasted it made her happy they prep it that way. All in all great little place we will return. read more

I've been here once before and thought their pizza/gyros were pretty tasty, so I called in an order on my way home from work, said I would arrive at six pm to pick it up. I arrived exactly at 6pm and they told me they "gave my order away" and if I wanted my food it would have to wait twenty minutes for them to make it. No apologies or explanations at all. This place is pure Greek deliciousness! Vegetarians will love it, too - try the Falafel gyro. It's nowhere to be found on the menu, but they make homemade falafels and they are the best I've ever had. Ever. And I've eaten them for years at various places. Family & friends I've eaten here with are big fans, too. They rave about the French Dip, Cheesesteaks of various kinds, and my friend Vanessa always gets one of their chicken sandwhiches. But for me it's always about the Falafel.
