Railroad sandwich - turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayo
Lori M.

The restaurant is cute and cozy. The service is a bit dry. I felt kind of like I was at the "soup nazi" kitchen from Seinfield. She didn't smile, or help with what to order. Just stood there with a blank stare ready to write our order down and made me feel like I needed to hurry up and order. She didn't say anything rude, there was just no smile or helpfulness. Now the food - yum!!! I ordered the medium Philly cheesecake sandwich for my hubs and I with curly fries- the sandwich, it was so tasty! The whole thing just melted in our mouth. The cheese was perfect, the onions were tasty, the mushrooms (I do not like mushrooms) but wow, even those were good! The only thing I would prefer is more meat in the sandwich. What a delicious sandwich though! It is a must get! The fries were a tad greasy but were still eaten. The kids ordered a burger and curly fries- burger was good, fries were a bit on the cool side. A "hot" sandwich I believe it was the railroad- nothing about this sandwich was warm or hot but it was tasty. The other two kiddos got chicken strips and fries which they said was very good (two chicken strips per kids meal, comes with fries and a drink.) they have a little counter where there is ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, peppers and pickles! We all enjoyed this little spot and would definitely come back again. Unfortunately I only took a pic of the railroad sandwich and parts of the inside. Check this place out!

Honestly was very surprised! Small, humble spot. But the food was great! Fair prices, good food, plenty of seating! I definitely will be coming back.

I can't lie to you... I'm not sure how this restaurant has four stars but it's DEFINITELY NOT GOOD. The service was subpar. I'm very disappointed I spent money here. The food was edible.. but that's it. Ambience looks like they cater to senior citizens.

Amazing as always started coming here almost 7 years ago, and it's got us hooked. The owners are super sweet and they deserve the best. Absolutely delicious and generous portion sizes. It smells amazing inside, not like socks? This place is almost empty because no one knows about it.... I'll always come back and I hope you're always here! Thank you guys for everything!!!

4 stars. Thank you for being open. For the value this place is good. Great value for good food. Would eat here if they raised all prices by $1. 4 star cheese burger. $6.59 for a good burger? What a value. Burger is better than fast food. For the price this burger is nice. 3.5 stars Chicken wings buffalo NY style. Smallish wings. Mild heat. For the price. No complaints. I'd get this every time. I'd bring my own hot sauce. 4 stars New York dog. Wasn't the best ever. For the price though this is a good deal. This alone is a good meal.

This place is a great spot for tourists, as it's affordable, you get a lot of food, the staff give great service, and the inside ambiance is small, but exclusive. They have high backed tables so that you have your own private area to eat, and the portions here are surprisingly large for a sandwich place!

The food is great. My favorite thing on the menu is the corn dogs. I also like the French fries.

We tried almost all the specials, including cioppino, a peach, garlic bechamel, arugula, prosciutto, balsamic pizza and chicken parm and enjoyed everything. The chicken parm had the right amount of breading- was lightly crispy on the outside with tender meat on the inside. The pizza had that farm-to-fork fresh flavor and the house ranch was a nice accent. The cioppino looked inviting and was nicely seasoned and flavorful. My friend thought the rosé sounded good so we ordered 2 glasses. Our awesome server told us they have a Wine Wednesday deal, so we ended up ordering the whole bottle and it was fire; we agreed we'd order it again. They have a nice room in the back for private parties or for anyone wanting to look at the beautiful landscape behind the restaurant and the whole restaurant in general is a nice setting for dinner or drinks (they have wine, beer, n/a and soju cocktails). Parking-wise, they share a private parking lot. Cheers!

Food is solid and hearty, with rich elk and tasty burgers cooked medium rare and juicy. Servers are friendly, courteous, and prompt. Parking is plentiful in the adjacent lot. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but their happy hour menu is a bit more standard/reachable for a casual night out. Beers and cocktails are well made and delicious/refreshing. If you're looking for a place to have an evening out as summer begins, this is a great place to get started.

This was actually the first time I visited the entire downtown Roseville area, and I was pleasantly surprised there was a parking garage since all the parking spots in front of the establishment were occupied. We arrived around 1:30PM and observed a fair amount of patrons on a Monday. We were immediately greeted and seated. Loved the decor. After a few minutes mulling over what to get, I ended up getting the French Dip with duck fat fries. I also tried their Divinity Stout. Wow. The food - Amazing! Really enjoyed the French Dip - well sized portion and ended up having leftovers that I was able to enjoy a few hours later ha! The Stout (Divinity) - I need to go back and buy some bottles to go. So good! I'll definitely be back. The one minor gripe was I observed was there weren't any TV's at the bar (from what I can see anyway). I would have loved to head over here as I am writing this review to watch the NBA finals. All good!

We were all ready to go and find another restaurant, but the person seating said to wait a minute. A table was just cleared and she was able to seat us. It was a good thing we paused as we got a table in back, next to the birthday party alcove. When we walked to our seats we passed an alcove with couches and chairs and whole bunch of kids jumping and running around with a few adults mingled in. As it turns out it was a birthday party for one of the adults. They sang to him and he blew out the candles on his cake. The restaurant is quite loud, but not too loud that you could still have a conversation which was a surprised as it was so loud. This is not the place to go for a romantic dinner. It's a pub, minus the year round Shepard's pie. They change the menu twice a year and that's only served fall/winter. That was sad because that was what I really wanted to order. Service was really good, the waiter kept coming back and checking on us. We first ordered drinks, then appetizers. We go the baked Brie Board for the table (there was 4 of us). It was a really solid appetizer. We all over the baked Brie and fruits included. I would order it again for a table of 4. My husband ordered the Monk's Burger and found it very tasty. I agree it was good, but a little on the dry side and the fries wern't crispy enough and tasted old. I got the Halibut. I found it tough and hard to cut into, maybe it was over seared a bit. It didn't taste fish at all which was good. The Cherry and Currant chutney was unusually and addd a good flavor to it. I wouldn't order it again. My girlfriend ordered the Moules Frites and said it had a very generous potion and would feed two easily, though she ate it all herself after sharing some with the table. Everyone agreed it was very tasty. The presentation was good too. It came in a large pot. Lastly our other friend ordered the fish and chips and said it was a generous portion. He only ate half of it and took the other half home and he was hungry to begin with. Parking is street parking or there is a free garage a couple of blocks away and over the bridge. You can see the train passing by on the other side of the bridge. Overall it was a good meal. I though my halibut was subpar and the fries that came with the burger had the texture and taste of old fries, they were also just room temperature when they were borough out. Sadly they weren't piping hot from the frier.

We started with the macadamia encrusted brie and toasted bread for an appetizer and it was excellent. A bit gooey but that makes it good. I chose the scallop risotto for my entree and it was fantastic. The risotto was perfect, so creamy smooth with a wonderfully tasty reduction sauce. Three large scallops sat beautifully on top and they were seared to perfection If you like either scallops or risotto this is the dish for you. The only thing off was we had ordered three coffees after we ate but just got two. We didn't say anything as it wasn't that big a deal. The ambiance is always nice and enjoyable and we had a delightful evening.
