The town limits are irregular, so its hard to know when you're coming in or leaving Broadmoor. There does seem to be a difference when you're in the town. The streets seem less maintained, and some areas have no sidewalks. But unlike other unincorporated towns, Broadmoor has a police dept. That's what got me interested in learning about this place. Last night I was parked across the street from the police station. I saw the sign, and thought....."why doesn't that say Daly City Police Dept?" Well, some call Broadmoor Village a neighborhood of Daly City. 4100-4500 people call Broadmoor home.

They were helpful in answering my questions regarding my situation. Alex arrived within the specified time window, used shoe covers per my preference, and even checked one of the insulation areas/attic to check for any possible bird or rat activity, since I suspected bird mites were the culprit. He also placed sticky traps in the room that was affected, in case more samples could be checked. About 1-2 days after the inspection, Alex confirmed what bugs were identified based on the samples: bird mites carpet beetle, and booklouse. I scheduled a return inspection since I captured more samples in a jar, and to get the sticky traps checked one more time before I reach out to pest control to ensure nothing else can be the culprit(s) behind my bug bites. I really appreciate the services provided by Alameda County and Alex, as it is really helpful to me during this stressful time.

This was the nearest office for me at the time. I have learned my lesson to call the police at the time of the accident and to take many pictures and video of my interaction with the other party driving. A rear dash cam would have been helpful as well. In the panic of the accident, I also forgot to demand to see her drivers license even though I offered mine. She said she didn't have her auto insurance card. People are often not honest, cooperative, or responsible. Fortunately, I took a few identifying pics of her and her car and had her cell number. This Redwood City CHP office forwarded my report to the Oakland CHP office. Redwood City said to wait 7 or 8 business days before following up with Oakland.

It's mostly white and not diverse at all. It's a boys club, and they just use the events to socialize. If you are a small business owner, they don't provide much value at all. The ribbon cutting they do supposedly gets published in the local press, but that's about it. They don't have any sub groups for small business owners to strategize or market. They don't provide a platform for business owners to network easily. Apart from the monthly social, no events to get to know other folks. All in all it felt like a waste of time. And they charge exorbitant membership fees. Join another chamber!

Really valuable information when studying science class! The facility was clean and there are some brochures by the front counter! The staffs were happy to give us some of them. They were bathrooms available together with shower rooms! Parking was not a problem. Coming from Daly City, it'll take about 30-45 minutes (maybe I was driving slow?)! My classmates and I were so glad - we came here!

I went to the Police Department and he was there to speak with me. I told him exactly what was going on. He read the whole court order. He attempted to reach out to the mother of my child. Everything he did was professional and very smooth. I hope his supervisor sees this comment and he gets some credit. He deserves it. Again I 100% appreciate all of the help. It was a small thing that turned into an issue that deserve serious questioning on the morality and ethics of Sargent Matthew Kroutil. Here the plaintiff has no intention to comment about Mr. Kroutil's ethics or professionalism as a police officer and as a supervisor, but here is the story and what happened on 08/20/2026. 3 or 4 weeks ago, my wife's vehicle parked along the street curb right in front of my house for an extended period of time, some neighbor reported, so the police came in to tell my wife to move it. The police knocked the door and initially we talked at the door. I admitted the problem, and told the police officers that I knew the problem and I had reminded my wife multiple times to move it, but for some reason it could not be started some time ago. I also promised the police officers we would call in AAA to try to start the vehicle. If it could be started, we would change battery; if could not be started, we would just donate it. I also mentioned by the way in low voice that there was another vehicle on the other side of the street which had parked there even longer. The response of the old experienced police officer was surprising and embarrassing. He intentionally and repetitively raised his voice so loud that it looked to me he wanted my neighbor to hear:" You are saying your neighbor is parking there also, I will talk to your neighbor later." He repeated that multiple times in loud voice even when we moved together to my drive way and to the street. I was so embarrassed that I had to stop him:" Stop, I don't care any more!" Then I left and went back to my house. This old police officer was experienced enough to know the consequences of that. It seemed to me that he was trying to stir tensions and disputes among neighbors, and if I am considered a whistleblower, then he was trying to expose me as the whistleblower. Not acceptable to me. Today after 3 weeks I decided to call the Pleasanton Police department trying to make a suggestion or advice about the misconduct of this police officer. I said clearly in the call several times: it is not a complaint, or report about anyone, rather it is a suggestion or advice worth paying attention to in future services and law enforcement. So Pleasanton City department arranged Sargent Matt Kroutil (Batch #281) to give me a call back. Sergeant Kroutil did call shortly, but in less than 1 minute into the call, right after saying hi and greetings and self introduction, he said something like "hold on" and then transferred my phone call to Pleasanton Garbage services, which kept me waiting for over 28 minutes before I realized that I was tricked. During that time, I called Pleasanton Police Department Hotline using another cell phone and let the people on the phone hear the repeated robot audio: it was all about Pleasanton Garbage Services, repeated time after times, for 28 minutes before I hang up. I also recorded some of the audio as evidence. Afterwards I hanged up realizing Mr. Kroutil was fooling. The phone call started at 10:04AM and ended at 10:34AM. It could be longer had I not realized it was a scam. The behavior of Sargent Kroutil (Batch 281) is a grand misconduct and a sign of lack of sincerity in serving the people or facing the problems, especially as a mid level police officer who were assigned to handle civic complaints or suggestions or advice. I strongly feel obliged to file a formal report about him in view that he is a police supervisor. Mean-spirited and ill-minded things like this should not have happened to a sargent. Transferring my phone to Pleasanton Garbage Services and keeping me waiting for 28+ minutes before I realized it was a scam is truly angering.
