Thanks Officer Pizzo! Proceeding that, the visit to the police station or the records office was pretty efficient (granted that you arrive first thing in the morning). The two times I made a trip here last month, there was like one other person (s) ahead of me, but each encounter was quick and no long waits if you call their line. Parking at the MPD is not a problem, depending on the time of day you come in. My biggest gripe is that MPD charges you $15 for a CD your laptop or CD player doesn't recognize. Or maybe it's just my laptop. But that's why it's important to take your own pictures and videos at the scene of an accident, crime, photo-op, etc. Also MPD charges for paper copies of your report when everything is digital nowadays! This is my hometown and I've lived in Milpitas since the first grade (or early 90s) and as an adult, I can say I feel pretty safe in Milpitas, thanks to our community of police officers, admin, fire and EMTs. The CHP officer in charge of this assignment was super cool and friendly. Though he was there for work , he made friendly conversations and made the process transition smooth. The thing is we were late ( this time) for July 4th. Celebration. There was some kind of Pancake Breakfast (Optomst Club?) but way too expensive...offer Pancake, Sausage, fruit cup, Coffee,Hot Choco for $ 15 dollars? $ 3 OJ. Since Mom is Diabetic & Dad has cancer, Dad & I decide that $ 15 is too expensive for just Pancake/Sausage. I was still curious if other people showed up, as in Cupertino $ 15 is cheap. So I was curious what other people had to say about the Breakfast July 4th. I also saw huge line for kids event. Even Pho ( one of my favorite foods) is expensive in restaurants these days (I love Vietnamese food as it is one of my favorite, next to Mexican is my favorite but I lived in California back in 1990 when Mexican food used to be cheap...Now the prices have sky Rocket...the only cheap Taco restaurant is Los Dos Compadres near Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd & Prospect Rd ( DeAnza Blvd & Prospect Rd). Most of their Tacos are only 3.5 or maybe close to 3.75 by now and they give more meat than most Taco Trucks. Only one time their Carne Asada was less taste but majority of time, they have really good Taco and good Carne Asada. Only problem is they close at 3pm. Saratoga is a historic town in the South bay …read more It is known for its winery ,restaurants and historic landmarks like Villa Montalvo , Mountain winery , and Hakone gardens . It had a population of 31,051 at the 2020 census. We visited on a Sunday afternoon like 5 pm . Had an early dinner there and then walked around the main street . The parking lot was almost full but we managed to find a spot. It was peaceful and quiet surrounded by many good restaurants. I enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and nice decor everywhere. Many flowers were blooming and the plants and trees were planted around the restaurants . A enjoyable leisure walk .

Finalizing my Air Force Reserves orders process was…read morevery stressful for me- I was incredibly nervous, had some hiccups with the DTS process and SSgt Baca walked me through each step. From day one, he didn't just treat me like another Airman on a spreadsheet-- he genuinely cared about my future and career goals and was very curious. We talked about VA educational benefits and how that aligned with my career path aspirations. Most importantly, he completely went above and beyond by coming into the office on the July 4th holiday when I was late in sending documents to my unit. He accomodated me and was suportive of meeting me at the office outside of hours so I could log in and take care of my documents on the Air Force portal. This shows sacrifice in how he puts others above himself when he could have been traveling and enjoying his day off.
