I feel so good about what she's learning and the care and attention the staff provides every day. What really stands out is how intentional they are. The teachers lead from strong principles, handle situations thoughtfully, and create such a positive learning environment. There are always engaging activities happening that keep the kids curious and excited. They also keep me well updated. I get photos daily, updates when she eat and what she eats, things I was never expecting. Another big highlight is the outdoor playground -- it's massive, safe, and gives the kids plenty of room to run, explore, and just be kids. They have special events and activities that add tremendous value to the program. Things range from puppet shows to animal appearances and so much more. It's worth the spend. Holidays are also fun to see them celebrate, including a Christmas performance at the end of the year. Overall, everyone has been incredibly kind, supportive, and caring throughout my daughter's milestones and development. From her teachers and teacher assistants (there have been many over the years, so it would be difficult to list them all) to the front desk staff Ms. Cassandra, Ms. Cindy, and Ms. Chitra, everyone has always been helpful, accommodating, and attentive to my daughter's needs and communication. The facility is clean, organized, and always feels safe. It was a brand-new school when we first enrolled, and they have continued to maintain the property and improve their operations over time. There is also plenty of parking, which makes drop-off and pick-up very convenient for parents. One thing I truly appreciate is how the school continuously strives to improve and enhance safety for the children. Over the years, they have implemented several positive changes, such as installing doorbell alerts when classroom doors are opened, tracking and documenting classroom attendance to ensure every child is accounted for, and upgrading their communication system. Parents can now easily view photos and receive updates about their child's daily activities and progress through the app. Most importantly, I have seen tremendous growth in my daughter since attending Learn & Play. The process for scheduling, visiting, and later enrolling at the school was so user-friendly. Ms. Elis answered all of our questions in person and later over email in a timely manner. You could tell she really cares for the students and is in-tune with the staff/children. She made a special point to tell us to bring our child on the tour as we could see how they interacted with the space and how they felt around the other students/staff as we were touring while school was in session. All of the staff is very supportive and we get regular updates throughout the day via message and more info at pick up on how the day went. It is also very easy to communicate through their app regarding pick up changes, general questions, etc. In the Bumblebee class (ages 2-3), you could not ask for better teachers than Ms. Yolanda and Ms. Sarah. They've taken such great care of our baby. Hands On Learning was our first school/daycare experience. Prior to this, our baby was regularly with me as I work from home. While already very extrovert and talkative, we really wanted them to gain more social experience. Most of the children in our lives are all older, so they're not used to parallel play with others their age. They're also used to 1:1 attention from an adult, so we wanted to expose them to a larger group setting sooner than later to improve on any growing social or separation anxiety. Ms. Yolanda in particular has been working tirelessly 1:1 with our baby and really partnering with us to make the transition from no school to half day to now full time (!) 5x a week to be as seamless and pain-free as possible. She's been great about learning what we already do at home and providing additional recommendations for us to try that will help with adjusting to full time school. While we're still navigating BIG emotions at drop off, Ms. Yolanda is always ready with a hug and a smile for our baby. There's still some days of all tears, but those days are getting less and less. I keep hearing that our baby is making lots of improvement from both Ms. Yolanda and Ms. Sarah. The evidence is all over our baby's laughing, smiling face as we talk on the drive home and lasts all the way until bedtime. I can't thank everyone here enough for helping our baby thrive. It really has been an excellent experience for our whole family!
