Had surgery for a bunion and it was with Doctor B last one on a Friday which was done last year…read more The procedure seem to go okay. For the most part, I had questions after like most people. I was experiencing a tingling and pain from the foot and to this day it has not gone away. I was told it would go away and I am still waiting for this to happen and its been over eight/ten months. {By the therapist and the doctor} I talked with my primary Doctor about the cordaozine shot that was recommended to make the pain disappear for a while. He looked at me and said do you realize how much that would hurt? Nope... It mask the issue but its not a fix! We trust Doctors to "practice" on us and with hope things turn out well. I have pain in my foot daily and the tingling has not disappeared from my foot. I cannot wear my shoes for a length of time due to the toe has limited movement to a degree but not without pain. Pain was not the plan and a shot to mask the pain is not the in the plan. I believe a nerve was pinched and the muscles may never correct its self. My Foot has been worked like crazy since, it was approved after surgery. Still having these issues with no great outlook on wearing shoes for full day without pain. I wonder if it was better to keep the bunion at least the swelling would end. I could wear my shoes for most of the day. I am not a fan of surgery or the medical field "practicing" on me. This has given me another reason to limit the "practice" on me from this field. This is one job that effects us for life. We have to live with the results. When a Doctor refuses to listen and admit they just might have messed up it is a problem. We all are human and have mistakes but this is one that has long term effects. Long weeks of work and then surgeries of fitting people into the schedule may have to be cut back if your focus is compromised. Nice man but, the ego needs to be checked. It sucks for me for every day living with this problem. A doctor that is refusing to take accountability. Well, that will give anyone a bad taste to trust the profession. Listen to your clients because they know their body better then anyone! YEs, Even the doctors in the world! Just done talking and hearing it will disappear. ITS Not going to happen so lets be honest please. A real story and a real view on the medical profession. I have tried to be understanding and felt the need to share the truth on what can happen. It is not going to be perfect for everyone. We need to be more honest and really decide on the effects it will have on your life long term. I guess we think this is no big deal. It is your feet and it is a huge deal. We use them daily and it helps us live life. I know it was my choice and thinking just that no big deal and believing the doc. It is the biggest deal having someone cutting and removing things from your body. Think about your choices and know it might not work in the end game. Thanks and good luck on your choice.

He suggested several options for my heel spur and spent over 30 minutes with me. He is so professional and knowledgeable. I highly suggest anyone that has pain in their feet to see him!!!!!

I saw Dr. Amiot in the Oak Creek office for overpronation of my feet. He was with me for about 5…read moreminutes, just enough time for me to tell him i had foot pain and to take an impression for orthodics with foam. Never asked any further questions and advised my orthotics would be ready in 4 weeks. When they came in they were just flimsy foam pads like I had bought at Target. That time, I did not see Dr. Amiot but an assistant. The orthodics were too big for my shoes and so the assistant cut them down with a scissors to fit. They do nothing for my problem. I was told to come back in a month. I found Dr. Amiot very aloof and unfriendly, as was the girl at the desk. I would never go back to that office nor to Dr. Amiot.

I had gotten to the point of not being able to put my left sock on myself due to hip pain. I had…read morebeen an active walker, averaging between four and five miles a day for the last thirty years. Now, however, my hip prevented me from walking almost any distance. My general practitioner recommended I see Dr. Kehoe at Aspen Orthopedics. Dr. Kehoe recommended Dr. Printz for my hip replacement surgery. Since you're reading these reviews, you probably are trying to find a good Orthopedic surgeon. I'd say look no further than Dr. Printz. As far as I'm concerned, he could not have done a better job on my surgery. I'm back to walking three miles a day, six weeks after surgery. I still have a little achiness and swelling, but that's getting better every week. So, if you've got hip pain get it fixed by Dr. Printz ASAP, don't let yourself suffer. Dr. Printz did an excellent job communicating with me and addressing all of my questions. Also, a shout-out to Holly, the doctor's administrative assistant, for giving me sound advice and getting me an earlier surgery date from someone who canceled out. Thanks to everyone at Aspen Orthopedics, especially the New Berlin location, for getting back to being my old self again.
