I took my laptop in for repairs after taking it to another shop. I was waited on promptly and the repair turned out to be a missing screw that held to power button in place. Voila - repaired in less than three hours! Great experience and great people! read more

I have lost a lot of time and money with these people. I been completely ripped off, they must think I'm stupid as I would imagine they think all of the costumers that go in there are. Worst experience of my life and I will be lucky I don't lose my job after dealing with them. My story goes like this, I need my computer for work. I make videos so my editing system is really key for me. Windows 10 update had screwed me over and I had to reinstall windows 8. After doing so, while re-uploading all my features I lost I got a Hijacker on my compute disguised as something not it's name and me being unable to detect it I realized I needed professional help. A friends recommendation brought me to Milwaukee PC, I went to the location on Jackson St as convenient to me. I brought in my computer and explained to the man exactly what what the issue. I have already had a friend take a look at it and he recommended a second swipe, now after spending a day n a half doing it the first time I really wasn't up for the second time and clearly doing something wrong the last time, just pay to have it done. Now, I had dropped it of Friday and was called Saturday (calling me a name that is not my name so I was confused when I got the call, I mean just read the order form) saying they found the virus it's being handled and told I can pick it up Monday. I went in 9am sharp when they first open and picked it up by an employee I had not seen when I first dropped it of. After getting home and looking at my machine NOTHING WAS DONE. I was charged $70.00! I was outraged, everything was the same. I called the immediately and brought it right back. Explained a second time to the employee who has charged me from that morning and told me that non of the information I had given to the man when I dropped it off Friday was translated to her, well not really. She said there was a note on it saying virus. I said look, I need this for work, she apologized and told me that my fee will be put towards the work that will be done to correct the problem. She then told me what I already know, that it needs to be wiped and reinstalled again in order to make sure the hijacker is removed. It is now Wednesday I still have to reinstall my editing software, not to mention all my footage and I have now lost all my project work that had been done. I really think they need to go out of business, I'm so completely stressed out. It burns me up the most to think that they really didn't do A THING to my computer and charged $70.00 to think I wouldn't notice that truly nothing was even done. After the fact it came to $170.00 to take windows 8 off back up my info and put it back on again. I am furious about the service. My laptop needed video cable replaced, according to their tech. He also stated there was nothing wrong with it besides it. I dropped it off on September 18, and was assured it will be fixed in 3 days. Then I was advised it will be done on October 1st. I contacted this store yesterday morning, 3 weeks later, and was told they are still "looking for the part." In 26 days, a new part could have been made in China, and shipped here. How hard were they looking? I told them I will pick my laptop later in the day. I came to the store - my laptop was in pieces, in a box, under a table. The woman working at the store, rolled her eyes at me, slammed the box on the table, and huffed and puffed putting it back together. High schoolers act better than that. Now, my laptop is dead - after spending 3 weeks in this store, it won't even power up. Lousy business, lousy service. read more

I am very pleased with the recent services I received from Milwaukee PC and note that the 3 negative reviews posted are over 2 years old. I brought my home computer in because I could not connect to the Internet. They said they would run a basic diagnostics check which was $40.00 plus tax. I talked to the computer tech on the phone the following day, and he said my computer was fine, that he had put some updates on it and that it was ready to be picked-up. I took some additional devices - a router and another little device I don't know the name of - and the tech checked those out and said they were okay. The tech took the time to explain the things I should try doing to try to regain my internet connection when I got back home. So I brought my PC/devices back home, tried to connect to the Internet again and could not do so. I called my Internet service provider. They guided me thru some modem and router checks while I was on the line, but nothing worked to fix the Internet connection problem. They sent a technician to my home the following day. The technician said there was a problem with my phone/Internet modem, which is owned by my ISP. He was able to fix it and get me back online. I received a fair price, fast service and helpful advice at Milwaukee PC and would recommend them to anyone! I also purchased my home PC - a refurbished Emachine - from them over 2 years ago and have not had any issues with it to date. read more

I'm giving Milwaukee PC 3 stars due to the enormous wait I ended up waiting. I was told my computer would be fixed within a few days. A week later I finally was able to pick it up. I went in for a simple diagnosis on why my computer wasn't starting up. The lady finally explained to me what was wrong and I fixed it by myself. I would say she knew what she was doing, but didn't know how to prioritize time. Come here if you have time to get your computer fixed. If not don't come here. read more
