My first Visit! Thumbs up! My second visit ....thumbs all the way down to the ground! -lol Mother's day weekend ..... Now you know that your establishment will get a lot of business on that particular weekend, why not have enough staff to accommodate clients, you would rather see them walk out and hear people complain that you did a rush job on there nails. Well, I received a rush job on my gel nails and was expected to pay full price, its been a week and my nails look like crap, she did not pull my cuticles back or shape my nails. After I told her that they did not look right she attempted to start removing some of the ones that she painted over LENT on, but speaking in her language to another lady she decided they were fine and left them. They should receive ZERO STARS.Terrible Customer service very rude! I received a pedicure and a full set. The person was a guy he filed my toes nails slanted. I don't think he did it on purpose I honestly think he cannot see properly. FOUR DAYS later after my full set my nails started lifting I went to salon immediately and they refuse to fix it and tried to make me pay. I had to go to another nail salon and get a full set all over again and that's when I also notice I had fungus on my nails! Mimi's nails on Floyd Rd (in the shopping complex with Food Depot and Bank of America to be specific) is the absolutely worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life, and I wish I read all of the negative yelp reviews before I wasted my time and money. They are rude, rough with customers, unhygienic during these covid era, tally final charges incorrectly (thank goodness I paid attention), and do not believe in customer service. I say this just by the reaction I received from the young woman with the glasses whose hair landed on my wet nail polish and when bought to her attention says she doesn't see it-I do! It was there clear as day but she proceeds to ignore me, yank my hand closer to her and keep polishing over it, all while rolling her eyes and speaking loudly in her native language to Mimi and the man doing pedicures. I wanted to support them during these rough times for businesses but no way! Run do not walk away. There are too many other salons in the area to succumb to this establishment. Horrible customer service! The young girl doing nails was extremely unprofessional and rushed through doing my nails. There were bumps in the polish which SHE SAW and pretended she didn't, and it was uneven. She got frustrated when i tried to explain what I wanted when it was a SIMPLE French manicure with gel polish because I didnt want my nails cut only filed and even which she DIDNT DO. Horrible experience would never return or refer anyone to go and waste their money there. Second time there but the first time was HORRIBLE so returning was a mistake and totally my bad! read more

If I could give no stars, I would. I visited MiMi's and was greeted once entering by a nail tech. This particular day they had only 4 techs that were all busy with clients. I sat and waited for 40 minutes only to be given to a disrespectful nail tech. He rushed the process and gave attitude when I informed him that I did not like how he cut my nail. I had not really wanted him but I was pushed for time to go to a dinner that night. The nails came out hideous! I have a short nail bed and tried to instruct him how to handle applying the nail tip. He ignored my advice stating that he will "do it his way to have them last longer". That was not the case. I usually only go for gel but because the foundation was done poorly I opted for polish. Never again will I visit MiMi's. It only takes me one time to learn a lesson. read more
