(3/26/2018) Stopped in for a weekday lunch, luckily it was a Monday. Mimi says lines are out the door on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Got there around noon-ish, she was working on a couple of to-go orders, a dine-in and us. Looks like most people do takeout. The place is rather tiny, 6 two-tops. It's pretty much Mimi, by herself manning everything, so be prepared to wait a while since she's literally cooking to order and doing it mostly one at a time. She's got her set group of regulars, and we can see why. Food is homey and tasty, we liked the Korean specialties. Bulgogi was sweet and tasty marinated beef over sticky, medium-grain rice. Hawaiian-style basically the same with a runny fried egg on top, and I do love a runny, saucy yolk. We ate in and got a handful of banchan gratis (Napa cabbage kimchi, spicy pickled daikon, smokey, sliced fish cakes). It all went great with the rich meat and starchy rice, perfect amount of heat and tartness to complement. The mandoo (fried dumplings) were filled with her own imagining (ground pork, sweet potato noodles, garlic chives) and very tasty. Just ate at Mimi's Kitchen and it was wonderful. I had the Bulgolgi and it was delicious. Very friendly service. The food was well prepped and very tasty. I would recommend anyone who likes Korean try this place. Also if you like hamburger or chicken she specializes in those dishes. I'm going to try everything on the menu. We have been reading about Mimi's on Yelp so we decided to try it for lunch. We love local spots with great food and Mimi's is a perfect example. We tried bulgogi which was excellent and the dumplings and egg rolls were delicious. Mimi is the owner and chef and she makes you feel like you are a guest in her home. Small place with only her working and she's very kind. I originally wanted dumplings but she forgot to bring them so i had hot & sour popcorn chicken instead and they are so good. fries came under salted though but that's an easy fix. :) read more

I used to come here all the time for a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll years ago. I moved since and recently visited today and the woman back there was rude and yelling at me. I asked if she can still make the bacon egg and cheese and she simply said yes and asked what kind of bread. When i said a roll she said we have bread. I kept asking repeatedly what kind of bread and she just kept yelling saying bread. I told her to kiss my ass and i walked out. I felt like i was the one behind the counter and she was giving me her money. I'm not about to pay for attitude and yelling. Horrible experience and will not be returning at all. Mimi is really friendly, greeting you when you walk in and even making sure that you get all the available toppings you want when ordering a sub.
