Simple and austere seating and small parking lot but they have little custom rice, salad, or noodle bowls where you can mix-and-match proteins, and toppings and a sauce. Think of it as the Korean version of Chipotle. Glass noodles and the marinated mushrooms were good; kimchi and bulgogi I've had better, more flavorful; overall flavors were more muted and slightly less salty than equivalent restaurant experiences, so probably healthier for you. Limited menu means they have a straightforward build for you. Cold ingredients added at the front; the kitchen does the warm/cooked ingredients, so the service speed is a bit slower than expected but probably good that they're making some of the proteins fresh, at least. read more

We came here because of the positive celiac safe ratings and we're not disappointed! The outside is very deceiving because it is small and not fancy but inside is quaint and minimalist but cute. They serve only bowls but the options are extensive. They are very well versed in food allergies and sensitivities, which was a relief as we have a family member with celiac disease and unable to eat dairy and soy as well. The cashier checked with the chef several times to ensure the ingredients met their restrictions and assured us that all precautions would be used to avoid cross contamination (separate prep area, glove change, etc). The portions were huge and they were delicious! The Korean fried chicken was good but very sweet, so be aware of that. The beef was so good! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Beware that parking is very challenging as they share a tiny lot with a cross fit and other businesses. We got lucky to get the only handicapped spot for my mom otherwise there was no parking. Definitely recommend to come here and we'll be back to try more options! read more

Riccup definitely impressed us. We have been meaning to try it for some time but never got around to it. We grabbed it togo when we needed a quick bite. It's counter service, so if you're eating inside you'd order and they'd bring it out to you. We decided to try the Korean fried chicken and topped it with kimchi, potato salad, and onions for $14. The chicken is perfectly crispy and the sauce is so good too. I also like the combo of the toppings along with your choice of sauce. They are quick to make your order if you stop in too! read more

Solid spot for a bowl. Probably one of the better quick-bowl-meals I've had. The quality of the ingredients and service was top notch. The inside was pretty small and plain, seats only 10ish people. Portions are nice, easily enough for two meals ~9$ a meal. read more

I took the afternoon to visit my friend who works in Winter Park. We were starving and she told me of a cute place to get delicious Korean rice and noodle bowls. She brought me to Riccup and she was 100% correct - it was SO GOOD! I had a make your own bowl with fresh glass noodles. I added some kale salad, tofu, and pickled veggies, YUM! The food came out quick and the woman at the counter was so friendly when we needed to-go containers. The seating area was clean and inviting, perfect for a lunch date! The shop is small - something that you could easily miss if you're not looking for it - but Riccup makes up for it with its big menu and tasty flavors! Sunday adventures ended up having me look up some Korean Fried Chicken. Glad I found the spot. Plenty of parking out front, ended up ordering KFC (Gluten Free) on Rice, with 3 sides- sautéed Kim chi, Sautéed veggies and grilled mushrooms. With Bibimbap sauce. Ordering style very similar to how you order from restaurants similar to fresh kitchen. I throughly enjoyed the meal, the fried chicken especially. We'll be back! read more

This place is delicious! I was craving bulgogi, but I wanted something causal and I didn't want to drive far, so I ended up at Riccup. I am so glad I did because I absolutely loved loved my bowl and I cannot wait to go back to get another! First let me just say that the parking lot is small, but I lucked out and found a parking spot. However, if you can't find parking in the lot you will need to look for parking elsewhere, which can be a little frustrating if you're not from the area. Anyways aside from the parking lot, everything else was great! I went at a good time because it wasn't too packed, I was able to find a table to sit at and the service was quick. I didn't have to wait too long for my bowl. I ended up getting rice, bulgogi, kimchi and kale salad and kimchi sauce. I was surprised to see glass noodles in my bowl as well, which I believe just comes with the bulgogi, but I'm not complaining, the mix was so good! Everything was flavorful! I also got a pear drink, which was also a good choice. It's a small spot with a few tables, but overall a great gem in Winter Park! read more

Build your own bowl style eatery, with Korean food. Many vegan options available. Dairy free is super easy to do here as well. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly. Parking is available next to the restaurant. The food was out fast! Portion sizes are great. We tried the fried chicken and bulgogi beef. Both were flavorful and delicious. A very small store front with large flavors. Simple idea. Pick your protein pick your add ons and they put it on a base of your choice. I had the pork and it was flavorful. The fried chicken was good too. Challenge parking so best to approach from east and pull in their limited parking lot. No frills service in their austere seating. read more

Amazing Korean spot near park Ave in Winter Park! This is a "build your own bowl" style fast casual spot. You get to choose what you want in your bowl, this made it easy to decide because that is all they have on their menu! I loved it! I got a bowl with Korean fried chicken, glass noodles, green beans, corn salad and kimchi. It was delicious, the chicken was juicy and the portions were huge. The guy at the counter gave recommendations when asked! The only downside is the parking situation. There is a tiny lot outside but this is standard for the park Ave area. read more

This place is tucked away back in the corner between the UPS store and the CrossFit. It's very quaint and clean with a nice seating area for different group sizes from 2 to 12. We were promptly greeted at the counter by somebody in the back to take our order. Since there were three of us, we chose three of the four proteins to try. The choices were Korean fried chicken, pork, Bulgogi beef, or tofu. Since we were eating in, the food was served in a very nice silver bowl with enough food for two meals. It was very flavorful and abundant. They have a filtered water cooler if you don't want to pay for a drink and they will provide reusable cups. They have a decent selection of beer and other nonalcoholic beverages The price was reasonable, especially considering we got two meals out of what we received. Personally, I would like to see a healthier, non-fried chicken option. On a cold night, this warm bowl of delicious comfort food hit the spot! read more

I could eat here everyday! When I got to the register to order, the team member was so helpful! I let her know this was my first time visiting; she was patient and offered great information. There was good bench seating and a chill atmosphere. The awesome person who took my order also helped me navigate the selection of Korean sodas, juices, and teas! The service was tops!! I ended up getting a plum tea that tasted like something I fondly remember from childhood that I haven't experienced in decades. I love the option to build a bowl. I went with the glass noodle, tofu, glazed mushroom, kale salad, and beet salad, and k-chimichuri. This is one of my absolute favorites in the Korean genre! I like to think of this place as one of Winter Park's hidden gems that SHOULDN'T be hidden!!! The food is Delicious!!!! It's so flavorful and you build your bowls to suit your taste. The menu is simple yet full of variety. Highly recommended the Fried Chicken or Bulgogi and you can't go wrong with the noodles or rice as a base. I brought my kid here who can be picky, and she LOVED it. The service was great! Yes. Riccup is worth the visit. What a shame that Riccup is hidden along Aloma. You almost have to know that it's there otherwise you wont find it. You build your own Korean bowl which for me was big enough to make 2 meals out of. Went down super smooth with an orange blossom pilsner. Probably one of your cheaper options in Winter Park being that the bowl and a beer was under $25. This will definitely be a repeat destination. read more

This little hole-in-the-wall Korean bowl spot has quickly become one of my go-to places when I'm craving a hearty, flavorful meal without breaking the bank. It's definitely got that college eats vibe--simple, fast, and super satisfying. They offer four bowl bases, and I usually go for either rice or the sweet potato noodles (both are solid picks). My favorites so far are the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and the beef bulgogi, both are packed with flavor and come in seriously generous portions. I would like to try the pork at some point too! One bowl can easily last two meals if you're not starving. Only downside is the seating--it's a small spot with limited space, so it can get a bit cramped during peak hours. Definitely more of a grab-and-go or quick bite kind of place than a sit-down hangout. If you're nearby and hungry, it's absolutely worth checking out. Very bland Korean food. I don't think I've had food this bad in a long time. The kimchi had no real flavor and the portion for it was tiny. The KFC was ok, but not as good as any actual Korean restaurant. The potato salad wasn't good (sad) and the poached egg helped the bland rice. Did they use any salt, butter? I'm not sure. It wasn't good. A/C seemed to be broken inside the restaurant and its not well-maintained. $18 with a drink for lunch for mediocre Korean food. I wouldn't return, especially when Shin Jung is just a small drive away. read more

- My first red flag was most of the comments were by white people calling this place authentic Korean food. But I was hungry and thought the worst case I just never come back. - Second red flag is that most tables were empty on a Saturday afternoon and the only people in there were white. No asian patrons at an Asian restaurant is enough reason to turn around and leave but again I was hungry. - the moment they told me no chopsticks, I knew I was screwed!!! The portions are so small it makes no sense. Then the last straw was the seaweed salad on their menu is not fresh seaweed but instead it's cheap dried laver. I had no hope for this food. So how was the food? The kimchi is just sugar no spice. The baked bean is also super sweet so my meal was sweet. The rice was bland but funny enough, if I just forget that this is meant to be Korean food and think of it as American food, it was ok! (Hence the second star) Would not eat again or recommend. Unless it's the only thing open. read more

I came to Riccup with a friend for lunch and it was a small place in the winter park area. The parking was a little small but we found parking relatively quickly. There was no one else in the restaurant so the service was relatively quick. We were greeted and took a minute or two to decide what we wanted. It was like a chipotle but for Korean food. I decided on a beef bulgolgi rice bowl with sautéed vegetables, sautéed kimchi, and potato salad. I got the bimpap sauce on the side and a corn with cheese on the side. My friend got the fried chicken noodle bowl which was equally delicious. It was a generous portion of food for about $14. I was pretty full and took some of it home. I was not a fan of the cheese corn, it tasted almost like a mayo corn but I was expecting more of a stringy cheese corn. It also had peas which I was not expecting. I wouldn't get that again personally. We also had some lychee soju which was really good! Overall, I would definitely be back again!! read more

Guy taking our order was nice definitely can't blame him for a lack of customer service since it seemed like he was the only person there. I ordered the bulgogi bowl and all the ingredients were definitely fresh and quality the cheese corn is definitely a must, fine shyt I was with ordered the KFC bowl and I was honestly jealous the gochujang style sauce the chicken was tossed in was the perfect blend of sweet & spicy. Overall food was great but the price point was a little high, definitely going back though! Also the makku drink was decent not the biggest fan but it's definitely worth a try. read more

Before heading here I will warn you that the turn is very small. Through multiple recommendations, I decided to grab dinner here one day. I wish that the location here was more convenient. I have passed Winter Park multiple times and never saw the sign. When I first came the restaurant was pretty empty. I opted to order takeout since I was running late. The wait was about less than 10 minutes. I went with a Bulgogi rice bowl with sautéed kimchi and potato salad with bibimbap sauce. Overall the rice bowl was really flavorful and decently priced for the amount I received. I also got a side of glass noodles for my friend and the portion was quite large for $3. Riccup is a hidden gem within Winter Park. I wish the location was a little more visible. read more

I did the bulgogi beef with a white rice base and green beans, glazed mushrooms, and pickled radish and every single bite was fantastic. The bowl was definitely loaded up and the kimchi sauce on top was the perfect finishing touch. It was also super fresh and hot which was much appreciated on a rainy dreary day. I could see parking being difficult being here so plan ahead! I happened to be running errands in WP and just walked over but it's definitely a busy little corner sharing space with UPS and a crossfit gym. This place is the hardest to park in, but it might be worth it. I recommend going outside of rush-hours to enhance your odds of finding a parking spot, because this tiny nook is shared by quite a few businesses. What I Ordered: 1) Glass noodles 2) Korean Fried Chicken --Sides: kimchi, corn, roasted seaweed 3) default sauce for the Korean Fried Chicken. The sauce sort of overpowered everything, so if he could reduce the sauce by like 50%, it would have had more balance and been perfect. The place is small, but it's cute and clean. The customer service is excellent. We need more like him in this world, he's warm, humble, professional, and accommodating. I will return to try more combinations, I'll just ask for light sauce next time. read more

Came here to pickup food for lunch. I really enjoyed the bowl I ordered: beef bulgogi, sous vide egg, kale, veggies, with the Korean chimichurri sauce they created. I kept getting so many compliments about how great it smelled. Service was nice and friendly. I'm not a fan that they share such a small lot with other businesses so I recommend parking elsewhere and the walking there. Thankfully there are other lots around. read more

11/30/24 Some of my friends from UF came to Orlando looking for a quick bite, of course they ask me since I'm a local around these streets. Wanting to take them to a scenic area that has a lot of shops and food that I haven't tried, Winter Park was an excellent choice. I stumbled across Riccup on the internet and knew we had to try it. Kinda took a while for us to find it cause it was a little hidden but once we walked in we noticed it was a nice small shop. One bad thing I can say was that there was NO AC but there was an AC unit so it must have been not working that day, not really a big issue. The way you order is kinda like a Chipotle style where you tell the server what you want in your bowl (base, protein, sides, sauce). The workers are very kind and good came out pretty quick. The pho I was served was not fit for a restaurant. I understand that pho varies in quality by restaurant, and the Vietnamese restaurants that specialize in pho or have it as the emphasis on their menu have, by far, the best pho in my experience. The pho I was served was about the saltiest pho I have ever been served in my life, and it tasted only vaguely of beef stock. The preparation of the soup base was deficient and it should not have been served to customers. In addition, the beef round was already fully cooked when served in the pho, meaning it turned well done, making it tough. This was the worst pho I have had in at least two decades. I am not exaggerating when I say I have had instant "pho" from convenience stores and Costco that was less salty than this one. It was Maruchan Instant Lunch packet level salty. I suppose it was oddly nostalgic, even, because I had the gross feeling I'd have after gorging on instant ramen in college. I don't know the best practices for pho in Vietnam. I've mostly been eating pho in California and Oregon, including with some frequency at Pho Hoa, a well-known pho chain. But this pho is $16 a bowl and it is not up to a minimal restaurant standard. I came by because I didn't want to drive all the way to East Colonial Drive or Mills Ave to my favorite joints during rush hour. I should've just endured the traffic instead. I have not tried the chicken pho, so I don't know if it has the same issues. But I don't think I'll be returning, as in all honesty, the beef pho was ghoulish and that first impression will be hard to erase.
